... Liam sieht mich über den Rand seiner Kaffeetasse hinweg an. „Du könntest eine Weile hier bleiben“, schlägt er vor.
„Wie bitte?“, frage ich verdutzt.
Marcus blickt Liam erstaunt an. „Wie stellst du dir das vor?“, will er wissen.
„Na, so wie immer“, erklärt Liam und nippt an seinem Kaffee. „Könnte ganz interessant werden. Mir gefällt sie und dir auch und Alex findet sowieso alle Frauen toll.“
Ich starre die drei an. „Was genau geht denn hier gerade ab?“
„Wir haben häufiger Damenbesuch, der für einige Wochen bleibt. Gegen gewisse Dienste“, erklärt Marcus mit einem Blick, der mich erschauern lässt.
„Was für Dienste?“, keuche ich und hoffe, dass nicht die Antwort folgt, die mir gerade im Kopf herumspukt.
„Die Damen wohnen umsonst bei uns und bekommen ein großzügiges Gehalt. Dafür haben wir Sex mit ihnen. Natürlich nur, wenn sie wollen.“ Liam fixiert mich mit seinen blauen Augen, während er die Worte ausspricht.
Ich springe so heftig auf, dass mein Kaffeebecher umkippt. „Seid ihr bescheuert? Sehe ich etwa aus wie eine Prostituierte?“ ...

An ihrem 29. Geburtstag steht Caroline plötzlich vor den Scherben ihres Lebens. Ihr Freund hat sie sitzen gelassen und ihren Job ist sie auch los. Sie beschließt, den Abend in einer Bar zu verbringen. Dort trifft sie den überaus charismatischen Liam und seine beiden Freunde, die ihr schließlich anbieten, in dem Gästezimmer ihrer gemeinsamen Wohnung zu übernachten. Doch was wie eine nette Geste wirkt, geschieht nicht ohne Hintergedanken. In gewissen Abständen suchen die drei Männer gemeinsam eine Frau aus, die sie dafür bezahlen, dass sie bei ihnen wohnt und für gewisse Dienste zur Verfügung steht. Wird Caroline das Angebot annehmen? Und welche Rolle spielt Liam dabei?

La verdad es que tengo que reconocer que a pesar de ser un libro de genero erótico (no son mis favoritos) este me gusto y mucho. Voy a continuar ya mismo con el que le sigue porque este me dejo en suspenso.

The truth is that I have to admit that despite being a book of the erotic genre (they are not my favorites) I liked this a lot. I'm going to continue right now with the one that follows because this one left me in suspense.

No sé si es que está mal traducido, o se trata de un problema de redacción editorial, o simplemente es que está mal escrito el libro por la autora.

Tiene descripciones inconsistentes, porque por una parte, te puede hacer un gran detalle de objetos o situaciones triviales, pero en cuanto a desarrollo de la trama o de la historia, no profundiza.

Sus personajes te dejan mucho que desear. Carolina (la protagonista) no me atrapa en lo absoluto. Me parece un personaje súper inseguro, inestable y bipolar.

Los hombres, demasiado hermetismo en cuanto a Liam, súper bipolar y ambiguo en cuanto a Marcos, y casi inexistente en cuanto a Álex.

Espero que la segunda parte mejore.

Había escuchado que el libro estaba mal traducido, felizmente me encontré con la versión correcta. He leído muchos libros eróticos así que es difícil encontrar uno que me parezca interesante y coherente. El libro tiene muchos clichés y me recuerda a una saga de Elisabeth Benavent, pero me parece aceptable, además las escenas están bien escritas. Me faltaron muchas cosas pero espero leer el siguiente y ver su avance.

¿¡Que les pasa a las mujeres con la prostitución y el abuso sexual!? Hemos llegado a un punto en el que son capaces de avalar, romantizar cualquier aberración con tal de vender y las lectoras lo aplauden en muchos casos... ¡¡Es un horror!!

This is a short story, about 65 pages and I enjoyed it and ready for more. Kate is having a good birthday or so she thought. When the door buzzer goes off, she is not expecting anyone. A currier is there with something for her. She thinks it is a present from Andrew, her boyfriend. When she signs for the package, it is a flat large white envelope. She thinks what can it be? It is not big enough to be a dress or thick enough to be jewelry. When she opens it, she can't believe what she is reading. It is a letter from Andrew informing her that she no longer has a job, their relationship is over and she has two weeks to move out of his flat. Instead of felling sorry for herself, she heads out to a bar to meet a man for a one night stand. When she meets three. Spending the evening with Liam, Marc and Alex is fun and they offer for her to stay with them tonight, they have a guest bedroom. She thinks it is odd that three good-looking men are single and at a bar alone. When the morning comes, she is awe struck with the offer Liam makes and leaves them quickly. Will she Take them up on the offer? Can she move past Andrew and his deceitful ways? Will she get her life back on track? This is a great story but way too short for me. Can't wait to read Part 2: The Love Apartment, coming soon.

En este libro he estado un poco confusa con la puntuación que debía darle. Por una parte pienso que la historia tiene potencial y me gusta, pero no sé si es por el estilo de la autora o una mala traducción, que la narración es pésima. Sobre todo al principio cuesta un poco leerlo, pero a medida que avanza mejora. Aún así tiene bastantes faltas de redacción y ortografía, como alternancia de palabras en castellano y español sudamericano (Ejemplo:celular).

A pesar de ese error, la historia del libro engancha y te deja con ganas de saber qué pasará al final de la historia.

No me suelen gustar la mayoría de los libros del género erótico porque le dan tanta importancia al sexo desde el principio que llega a cansar y quitan mucha importancia a las historias que hay detrás, rozándolas muy superficialmente. En cambio con este he hecho una pequeña excepción.

Este libro está escrito por un autora de origen alemán. En un principio la historia era publicada en su blog como capítulos cortos, como si fuera una telenovela. Ante su aceptación se decidió a publicarla, en este primer libro publicó los fascículo del 1 al 4. Próximamente publicará el 2º libro de la serie bajo el título de Los Caballeros del Amor – Expectación.

En este primer libro nos encontramos con una historia fresca que se lee con mucha facilidad y que engancha.

Devo dire che non volevo neanche scaricarlo, invece non mi è dispiaciuto affatto, sono sicuramente curiosa di sapere come prosegue. Certo un po' corto, io non amo molto i racconti brevi, in genere non fai neanche in tempo a conoscere i personaggi che già li devi abbandonarli. Speriamo che il secondo sia un po più lungo.

La narrativa es horrible /: y la protagonista una tonta, se hace la muy fuerte y que no la manda nadie, pero a los dos segundos hace lo que le dicen, se toma todos los tragos del mundo y se al que tiene en frente.
