I was honoured to be picked as one of Kym Grosso's Beta Readers for Logan's book... "Logan's Acadian Wolves" (Immortals of New Orleans #4).
I have read each book in this series and they just get better and better with each issue.
Our Hero, Logan, will definitely steal your heart and you will love our feisty Heroine, Wynter.
There is action, intrigue, mystery, hot steamy romance with our very hot Alpha-Hero, Logan, hot Were's and nasty vampires and so much more.
This is a series you do not want to miss and I highly recommend them.

This book is perfect to read as a standalone, but can be enjoyed with much more depth as book four in the Immortals of New Orleans series.
This book was definitely my favourite of the series so far. The romance was incredible, heart-felt and beautiful and the storyline was complex and different from anything else I have read before. The detail Kym Grosso delivers from the New Orleans surroundings always takes my breath away.
The characters were, as always, amazing. With every book you meet new people and they become a part of this wonderful family. They always bring fresh life into the series and it also makes sure that you never get bored of seeing the same people all the time. I love getting to know everyone and seeing how their personalities work together.
Logan is also my favourite hero of the series so far.
The beginning of the book showed us just how hard Logan has been working to keep the Arcadian pack, like Marcel wanted. He’s been facing challenge after challenge to keep his position as Alpha. I loved Kym showing us that it wasn’t easy for him, that he’s put his blood, sweat and tears into this. How he deserves everyone’s respect!
He’s been having visions of a woman being killed right before his eyes, he doesn’t know who she is but he knows he feels her death deep down in his heart. He can feel that the loss will destroy him, even if he doesn’t know why.
I liked that Kym also showed us right from the very start, how caring, loving and supportive Logan can be. He loves his wolves and would do anything for them. He’s a formidable leader and an even better man. He can be so soft and gentle, but when the situation calls for it he is powerful and unwavering in his loyalty and will do whatever it takes to protect those he loves.
I had fallen in love within the first few chapters.
Wynter was such a wonderful heroine. She’s smart, brilliant, resilient and strong. She’s beautiful and tender, and fierce when she needs to be.
’She may be broken, but she’d never let them see it. A survivor she’d get through this like every other dreadful experience.’
She was taken and held captive by vampires who were forcing her to work on a virus. She was creating the virus and anti-dote to help a very sick friend and to secure the future of all werewolves. However the vampires saw this as their chance, they want to turn the virus into a weapon and use it against the wolves who would have to bow down to them because it is they who hold the antidote.
She escaped from their clutches and ran, taking the bulk of her knowledge with her.
This is where her and Logan meet. He sees the woman from his vision running down the road; afraid and half naked… he of course, steps in to save her.
It was such a great meet!
The chemistry between Wynter and Logan was amazing. They have this sizzling attraction that’s so sexy! The sexual tension and their wolves’ possessive natures make for some of the hottest, most passionate sex scenes ever.
’Logan fell to his knees before her, never breaking eye contact. Roughly he pushed up her dress. She heard a rip and realised he’d taken her panties. Wynter felt him push her knees wide open, his lips on her inner thigh…’

Seeing their relationship blossom was a pleasure to read, and the way they relaxed with each other and had fun too, it was sweet as hell.
The Ménage scene was so well placed. The connected between Logan, Wynter and Dimitri was already strong… but this scene just solidified it even more.
Dimitri is an absolutely fantastic character. I cannot wait to learn more about him. He is Beta of the Arcadian pack, and would lay down his life for Logan. D sees from the very start that Logan is different with Wynter, and he does everything in his power to make them both see sense. He pushes them together when they’re being stubborn, and he speaks the truth when they both need a good kick up the arse.
He’s so loyal and wonderful; he helps Logan take care of the pack no matter what they need.
But it’s his relationship with Logan that was the most endearing thing about him. They have the most relaxed Alpha/Beta relationship… They are best friends, and they love each other very much. They were great friends already but becoming Alpha and Beta has given them such a strong bond, one they both relish.
Their banter was absolutely hilarious at times and the way they both fawned all over Wynter…
’Logan stared over at him. ”Seriously? Tell me you didn’t…”
“Not that. Although, she’s sweet, man. I mean, really sweet. Tonight she was wearing these tight little panties, and those breasts… Oh Goddess, save me,” he said dramatically, putting his hand to his chest.
”Mine,” Logan reminded him with a smile.
”Ah, but are they? You were a little harsh tonight, almighty Alpha,” he taunted.
”Still mine, smartass.”
Jax was another awesome character. He’s been so good to Wynter, taking such good care of her. I liked that although he missed her so much, he told her the truth. That Logan is her mate, that he’s a good man, a great man for her. He could have lied and told her to come home, but he didn’t. I hope we get to see him again.
The Villains… The Mistress and the Directeur.
This was a really good part to the book. There is murder and mayhem but you’re kept guessing right up until the very end, I had a few guesses as to who they were but I was never even close.
There was just the right amount from the Villain’s point of view. Enough to give you little hints and to keep you on your toes, but not too much that it got boring. We all know we really want to see all the romance pages! Haha
I really liked Leopold in the last book and I am so glad that he is next up. He’s charming, super sexy and rather frightening. I loved the banter between Leopold, Dimitri and Logan.
”Seriously, do you wolves ever wear clothes?” He quipped with a raised eyebrow.
”You should try it, vamp. You might like it,” Logan replied. He stepped into the boat and cuddled Wynter. ”Free like the wind.”
“A cold day in hell, mon ami.” Leopold shrugged his nose in disgust.
”You gotta loosen up,” Dimitri told him.
”Ah, says the man who weeps,” Leopold teased with a smile.
”Tears of joy, man. And for the record, I’ve got plenty of game,” Dimitri jived in return.’
The Epilogue was all his, leaving the reader with a huge question mark as to what the hell just happened? I cannot wait to find out…

This series just gets better and better. The characters are amazing they were so easy to connect to! I loved Wynter's spunk, courage and tenacity. I loved Logan as Alpha and his struggle with accepting his new role and his own feelings. I love Dimitri too and his use of humor and his good natured ribbing of his alpha.
The story line was solid and had me guessing right up til the end about who the bad guys were! I went through everything with the characters! I ached for them, I rooted for them, my breath got taken away, I laughed I cried... and whoa! The sex scenes were Hot hot hot!!!
I am so hooked on Kym Grosso's books I can't wait to see where this series goes but wherever it goes I am happily along for the ride.

What can I say, I was lucky enough to be a beta reader for Kym on this book and boy what a book. Logan, well Logan is just about the sexiest damn Alpha wolf ever! The story grips you from the beginning and the sex....well the sex and there's a lot of it, grips you in all the right places. You will not be disappointed with Logan's story, there is action, suspense, love, friendship....did I say sex? Yeah there's some of that too. The love story between Logan & Wynters is great, the chemistry between them is on point from the get go. Oh and the ending....well, I never expected who the villain was. I highly recommend, great as a serious, but can stand alone.

Lots of tension of all kinds. A mystery, hot men/wolves, a vampire or two. Lots of heat! Who is really after Wynter? Why do they want her? Can she accept who she has become? Can Logan keep her safe? This latest installment of the New Orleans series is a definite MUST read!

Another yummy read from Kym Grosso!!! She really does a great job building the story up and making you want the next book ASAP!! Love the mixed POV, it really gives a fuller picture of the whole story!
I love, Love, Loved Logan and was really excited for his book!! I was kind of expecting what happened at the end of Tristan's book because I had seen the synopsis for this one and knew Logan became Alpha. Still I was surprised by several things that were revealed. I liked that Logan tried to feel his way out with the pack and the way he took charge in the end.
I wish we had more explanation of Logan's gifts. They are touched upon but not as delved into as I would have hoped. While I loved this story it did seen to fit the same mold as Tristan's book , it felt a little pattern.
Wynter is awesome and I adore her attitude and finding her wolf!! When she takes charge and gets all Alpha Logan doesn't stand a chance!! She was a delight to read, I just wasn't always in love with the whole protocols thing. She is a survivor and it was great to see her retain her sassy attitude.
The steam is quite delicious!! Again Ms Grosso straddles the line between Erotic Romance and Mainstream Paranormal. You have a Mainstream story with all the detailed hot and heavy of a Erotic!! You go gurl!!!
Who will be next? Yummy Vamp Loepold, it looks that way!! But I could also go for some more smexy wolves!!!
I am definitely on board with this series and will be stalking...um following the author closely!!

I just read this book for the second time in audiobook narrated by Ryan West, who is delicious. I stand by my original thoughts on the book, only adding that it is even better the second time around. Mr West has a great tone to his read that adds to the overall feel of the story. His accents could have been a but stranger, especially on Dimitri. He has a great pace that flows with the natural movement of the plot. This audiobook should come with a warning label, DO NOT LISTEN IN PUBLIC!!! Seriously, you could end up in the middle of the supermarket blushing your face off feeling decidedly naughty. It is also not a good idea to be driving to work and show up all hot and bothered because some narrator with a growly Alpha voice just read a really steam scene! Please let the rest of the series be released in audio too!!! They definitely perk up my daily commute.

Ok let me start out by saying I love this series but for some reason I knew that Logan's story was going to be my favorite...( I Think). Logan and Wynters story was packed with suspense and good lord the sex scenes were HOT....I love that wolfy Alpha attitude that Logan has but I also loved that Wynter threw it right back in his face. In everyone of Kym's books in this series she has hit it spot on with her characters and the chemistry they have with each other. I knew once I started reading it I was gonna blow right through it so I made myself take my time to make Logan and Wynters story last. So.... if you love a love story with wolfs and great chemistry awesome sex scenes you don't want to miss this series and I would recommend starting with the first book(and it free)the story all kinda goes together from book to book. Kym has this book so well written it will keep you in suspense all the way through the book and at the end SURPIRSE....yep I didn't see that bad guy coming at all....Well done kym I cant wait till the next one comes out....

Another great book in this series! Kym Grosso has seriously upped her game with these books! I loved the beginning, the middle, and the end. So basically, it was
fabulous
. I mean, even the names of the characters were awesome! I held my breath, I swooned, I got completely hot and bothered, and I got teary multiple times.
Due to the murder of the previous Alpha of the Acadian wolf pack in New Orleans, Logan takes over as Alpha. For months he's had to establish his place as Alpha, and has only been recently fully accepted as the leader of the pack.
Wynter has been kidnapped, tortured, and forced to work in a lab working on a mysterious project for the last two months. But with some luck and cunning, she manages to escape. Logan happens to see Wynter fighting for her life trying to escape and runs to the rescue. Of course, Wynter is totally freaked out and escapes during the melee, only to end up at Logan's door step. Literally.
Logan, recognizing Wynter from the gruesome visions he's been plagued with, is hopelessly drawn to Wynter and is determined to find out what has happened to her and get her to trust him. But Wynter cant tell Logan the truth, and soon her secrets threaten to ruin the fragile relationship they're building.

Despite Wynter's secrets and inability to tell Logan the truth (which would normally drive me crazy in a book), I loved her character. She was feisty and strong. And the surprises in store for her character are awesome ! She doesn't hold on to her denial of her feelings for Logan for long, and is surprising accepting of everything that has happened and is happening to her, allowing their relationship to grow and become increasingly complex.
Logan was a super sexy dominating, Alpha hero. Yum. He takes on his new responsibilities as Alpha with strength and determination. And his near obsession with Wynter is too strong for him to deny, bringing him to push not just her limits, but his as well. Not to mention he's simply, utterly hot!
Wynter and Logan's chemistry is off the charts, and Wynter's kinky predilections were hilarious and made their sex scenes original and scorching.
Logan and Wynter's relationship was not just hot, but sweet as well. I was rooting for them the whole time. As Wynter learns to trust Logan and accept herself, Logan is unable to hold back and gives everything he has to her.
The suspense thats been building throughout the book comes to a super dramatic climax, I was completely devastated, on the verge of tears. I kept thinking, "no! how is this happening?!" But thank gods, they do get their HEA.

I've had book one on my Kindle for ages, lost among ten pages of books waiting to be read. By the time I had read a few chapters I downloaded the next two and with book four being released yesterday, September 17th, I have had a glorious Immortals of New Orleans fest.
If sexy Alpha wolves and vampires are your cup of tea this series should be on your to read immediately list.
I never give spoilers or blurbs, it will have been done by both the book synopsis and other reviewers and I really can't see the point of repeats.
I like Ms Grosso's writing style and the fact that there are very few bloopers other than a few words that weren't quite in context.

If sexy Alpha wolves and vampires are your cup of tea this series should be on your to read immediately list.
I never give spoilers or blurbs, it will have been done by both the book synopsis and other reviewers and I really can't see the point of repeats.
I like Ms Grosso's writing style and the fact that there are very few bloopers other than a few words that weren't quite in context.

Thrilling.. Sexy.. Amazing..
Those three words come to mind while reading, Logan's Acadian Wolves. This is the 4th novel in the Immortals of New Orleans series. Each character I've loved and each book, I've said this is my favorite, but WOW this book is amazing from start to finish.
Logan has been in a battle since the death of Marcel, to keep his position as Alpha of the pack. When he has finally won that without any question's he is ready to lead his pack and is focused on just them.
But he's been plagued by dreams of a beautiful woman, and when Wynter comes into his life and turns out to be the woman in his dreams with a lot of secrets surrounding her, Logan's world turns upside down.
This book is full of Passion, action and amazing characters!!

Great series!
In #2 of this series Logan was Tristan's beta. Logan is now Alpha of the Acadian Wolves. Marcel died in his arms and asked Logan to take his pack. This book tells how he took over and some really ugly issues endangering his pack. I did 4stars because I thought there was a little to much explicit sex scenes

LOGAN’S ACADIAN WOLVES is the fourth storyline in Kym Grosso’s Immortals of New Orleans contemporary paranormal series. This is Logan Reynaud and Wynter Ryan’s story. Although this is part of a series, it can be read as a stand alone without too much difficulty. Kym references a few of the previous storyline characters but only when their presence or mention is significant to the current book and in this, we learn a little more history to the how and whys.
Logan Reynaud is a new alpha with a new pack.With the recent murder of his best friend and Alpha Marcel, Logan takes over the New Orleans Alpha position. Having to prove himself worthy, Logan will meet each challenge to his alphahood head on. But finding a battered, bleeding and seemingly human female will challenge Logan in more ways than one. There is something about Wynter Ryan that calls to Logan’s internal wolf and no one, including Wynter, knows the truth about what is happening. LOGAN'S ACADIAN WOLVES BY KYM GROSSO....OMG If I have ever said I was ify about reading and Wolf/Vampire my mind has been changed! The story of Logan (Werewolf) and Wynter (Human) was amazing!
The story starts with Logan being challenged by other wolves to be Alpha.. Logan? He is ALL Alpha, but after his Alpha Marcel is killed he is stepping up to the plate.Now as Alpha he and his beta Dimitri are to run and lead the pack, but what happens when a night of good fun turns into saving a beautiful human? In comes Wynter Ryan..Virologist. Being almost killed by Vampires Logan and Dimitri save Wynter. But what is it Logan scents on Wynter? While Logan is trying together information from Wynter as to why she was being cashed by Vampires his attraction for her grows.
"I should send her to stay with Fiona."
"Most definitely."
"But look at those legs,"Logan growled.
"Yes, indeed."
"And her breasts. Just so, so...perfect."
"Hell yeah," Dimitri concurred, watching her sun herself. Logan shot him a glare.
"My breasts."
" Whatever you say, Alpha." He smiled and raised an eyebrow.
He didn't want to burst Logan's bubble, but the both knew she belonged to Jax. Now before you ask who Jax is.. He is her guardian that has taken care of her when her parents died. Because Wynter is in danger Logan must call to Kade the head vampire in New Orleans to help . But Kade isn't available so in comes Leopold Devereoux (Vampire) in place of Kade. Leopold senses something from Wynter .. Wolf, maybe? While at a club can Wynter allow Logan to become possessive and tell Leopold that he is Wynter's Alpha? What happens when Leopold asks Wynter to dance?
"Your Alpha comes for you, no? His possessive nature cannot accept another's hands on you as an unmarked wolf. You like experiments,do you not?" Leopold noted, jovially placing a kiss to her shoulder.
"Is this a test?"
"You feel it too, don't you? Your wolf. She craves him," he whispered into her ear, pulling her close against his body. He stopped dancing holding her still, and continued. "And he cannot resist the demands of his beast." Logan not liking that at all takes Wynter and ends up in a little room. Now I must say the sex scenes in the book are on fire!! OMG OMG !!! I would love to write more but I think I would need a book of my own!! So you want to find out just how hot the scenes are?? Want to know if Logan can save Wynter from the evil doers?? Go get this smexy book!!!! You will be forever in wolf/vampire books!!

This was another great entry in the Immortals of New Orleans series. I am never disappointed and get great characters, great action, great romance and a mysterious person in the shadows who needs to be found. The introduction of new characters and old ones who have become like family is handled in a way that makes it plausible, for the world where supernaturals exist, and easy to follow. The narration and language is always well done with few if any typos and grammar errors to drive you crazy. All the characters have a back story that helps you get to know who they are and what their place is in the current and past story if necessary.
Logan had been the Beta for Tristan and his friend for many years, but when he goes to check on things in New Orleans he finds that Marcel is dying and insists that he become the Alpha of the Acadian wolves when he dies. This is not something that Logan has ever considered but for his friend he takes the challenge. This means returning to his roots full time and facing challenges from those who did believe that he should lead them.
Logan has been dreaming of a woman who he watches be murdered over and over again. Then he finds her running through the streets being chased by vampires and unwilling to disclose why. Wynter has grown up around wolves and understands many things about pack life but not what it means to be attracted to the Alpha. She has been working on something that could have bad results if it falls into the wrong hands and those hands are looking for her because they want her back along with the knowledge she carries. Logan has no idea what or who he has allowed into his pack and the danger that he has brought among them.
I loved Logan the first time I read about him with Tristan, he is hot and forceful and all male. But he does not like being lied to and he can hold a grudge easily, he is also loyal and kind. He is everything you could want in a man and then some. Wynter is a sweet girl who gets in over her head but is brilliant and a good match for Logan.
Alright, we know I recommend this because I think it's wonderful. Now this one is not as hot as the others but gives some good action sequences along with a love story that has a lot of rocky moments that make them together even better.

Man this was an incredible book.
Logan has come to New Orleans to bring some refugees to Marcel ( The local Alpha). As he enters his home he sees someone murder Marcel. He kills the murder, and is promoted to alpha himself.
For the first several weeks, he is challenged several times for the position. Up till now he has shown mercy by not killing the challenger.
He has finally had enough, and announces that the next person that challenges him it will be to the death. Of course no one else chooses to challenge him.
While sitting in a wolf bar, a young woman runs by being chased by vampires. Logan and his beta Dimitri decide to rescue the lady. Her name is Wynter.
At first she smells like a human, but after taking her to his home to help her heal, she smells more and more like wolf.
And here’s where the fun begins.
What is happening to her? Who is still chasing her? Will she and Logan ever get things together?
These are only a few of the questions you will find answers to.
You won’t be able to put it down. I know I couldn’t.

Alpha of New Orleans, Logan Reynaud is fed up with the constant challenges but is finally filling like he has a handle on his new position. Lately though he has been dreaming of a woman, he thinks maybe his mate. When he finds her running from a group of vampires, he rescues her but she is not forthcoming with why the vampires are hunting her.
Dr. Wynter Ryan was working on discovering a virus and hopefully a cure for a close friend. Raised by another Alpha, Wynter is torn with her ever growing feelings for Logan and that of the man who raised her. When it looks like the vampires are not going to let her go, the mating instinct for Logan is in full bloom and he has to do quite a dance protecting his mate, telling Wynter she is his mate, and finding the vampires who are experimenting on others.
Exciting story. Logan is pure Alpha and he is conflicted where Wynter is concerned. He wants everything on the table and wants her to be by his side, but taking her as a mate while his pack is in turmoil is another matter. Oh, Logan you sex on two legs of a man! Damn your wolf instincts for acting up in an untimely manner, but hey your pain my gain, or in this case my amusement, "his damn wolf needed to get his act together. The woman was sick for eff's sake. Now wasn't exactly the greatest to get a hard on." He's caring, "okay, baby. Here we go." He spoke softly to her as if she heard him. She shuddered but never woke, so he kept going. "Just goin' to clean you up a bit. Look at what they did to you. Don't worry; you'll be healed in a few days. What I'd like to know is how you got mixed up with vampires." He's possessive like all wolves are when they find their other half, "no," he responded definitely. "She's going to be pack soon. And she's mine." He gets turned on at the right times to ladies so let's not worry about him being able to provide for our certain needs, "my Alpha? Logan's co** thickened at her words. The table isn't the only hard thing in this room, baby. I'm ready for the next book in the series.

Ms. Grosso writes this story as if from a narrative point of view that can become very confusing at times trying to determine who is speaking or feeling what, as the point of view changes constantly throughout the story within the same scenes.

Same problems persist but so does my level of enjoyment. The similarities between Logan's book and Tristan's are a bit much. Many events are interchangeable. And if I though Tristan was too kinky for me, well, let's just say Logan took it to another level.
In general though, I'm enjoying the series. But in glad Leopoldo's story (up next) is the last (for now) as the books are all just too similar for me. I'm ready for something new.

So Good!

One night he had rescued a scared Wynter. Upon first glance she looked and smelled human. After a few days in there care they all saw something different in her. She appeared and smelled like a wolf.
This story has lots of twists and turns that will keep you guessing. An exciting read not to pass by.

Once again, Kym has outdone herself!! Another amazing book that picks up where the story last left off. i started reading it as soon as I got it and was unable to put it down until I finished. I loved every minute of it. The characters have become old friends now to me! I cannot wait until the next book in the series!! Thanks again, Kym, wonderful book!!

Oh my goodness gracious! Logan is one hot Alpha Wolfie and he found his alpha mate, Wynter... ...there a some pretty steamy scenes in this book, fanning myself.....but couldn't put the book down....Dimitri, Logan's Beta, is funny, sensitive and sexy....enjoyed this book and how the story played out....will look forward to the next in this series....Leopold and a baby?
