"Border Dogs" is a short story that fills some space between Ochse first and second books in his "Seal Team 666" series. The story follows an undercover operation chasing down a series of what appear to be Chupacaba attacks along the Mexican border. Ochse is a terrifically descriptive writer and seems to know his military stuff very well. A few characters from his novel appear in this story, but none stand out.

You'll enjoy this story if you like Ochse's military-supernatural themes.

SEAl Team 666 tackling supernatural threats on behalf of America. This is a short story in the series, involving Chupacabra being used by the cartels and neo-Nazi border patrol groups. It certainly rattles along, although that might be to it's detriment - it does feel rushed, but you can't argue with the action quotient.

THE TRIPLE SIXERS VERSUS THE EL CHUPECABRA IT IS...

Hello, this is another great tale of said unknown military unit on a a mission that may or may not have happened. It seems to be a little earlier in the time frame than the previous stories. Great stuff. Thanks.

Another Tor.com short story

This one had way too much military jargon and such for me to properly enjoy it. Kind of like watching some one play COD or something. Still I was really rooting for Rosa and I'm glad she made it.

Good story. I read this after reading the other Triple 6 books. I liked seeing Fratty and Ruiz again, but wish they had larger roles. It was interesting seeing our GAFE friend again as well. Not at all a bad quick prequel.

I loved it... Chupacabra's and Seal Team 666 make for a fun read. So far I've only read a couple of Weston Ochse short stories but I plan to check out the rest of his work.
