AIDEN Just when I thought things were looking up, my entire life falls apart, thanks to some guy . Now I've sworn off men forever since I can't trust myself to pick the right one. And that's the moment I met him, the tall, dark, and handsome man with golden eyes. But I can't have him. My life is crumbling around my ears, and the last thing I need is to complicate it with a man in the picture.
Now if I could just get him to leave me alone...
PARKER Begrudgingly I came home for the summer to blow off some steam after another failed relationship, intent on spending the summer alone to recover. But when a storm threatens a man out on the lighthouse pier, I run to save him. The moment my hand touches his skin, I hear a single word. Mate. But he's human, and I'm a werewolf . If I pursue him I'll be kicked out of the pack. And if I don't I'll be miserable for the rest of my life.
All I know is that I can't resist him. But can a werewolf and a human really find happiness together? I'm willing to sacrifice my place in the pack for him.
Maybe I'll just create my own pack so we can be together.
This spicy wolf shifter romance contains jaw-dropping twists, sizzling love scenes, a cinnamon roll alpha, and a happily ever after that will leave you speechless. It should only be read by those who like their werewolves hot and their broken boys shown the love they deserve.
Blake R. Wolfe has adored werewolves and monsters since he was a child growing up in a small rural Michigan town. Now he lives near the shores of Lake Michigan with his two partners, two cats that need to be fed every three seconds, and a dog that is very spoiled. He spends most of his free time hiking through the nearby forest, thinking up the next great romance story for his readers.
Blake writes under three separate Pen Names:
--Blake R. Wolfe -- Gay Paranormal Romance
--Atreus Rosewood -- Gay Contemporary Romance
--Eoghan R. Cunningham -- LGBTQ+ Fantasy

If you’re just reading for spicy content, it’s decent although a bit too cheesy, repetitive, and lacking in variety for my taste. If you’re looking for any depth, this probably isn’t for you. I feel like this COULD HAVE BEEN a really good book if there had just been some development in the areas where it lacking, there is very little characterization, after reading the book I know almost nothing about this world, the jumps from one chapter to the next always feel like huge parts of the story were missing.
It’s fine, although there are some continuity errors. The biggest problem is that I just finished a much better werewolf book and this pales in comparison.
Overall I thought this was a good M/M shifter romance book. The writing was good, it was the right balance of dialogue and scene descriptiveness for me. I don't particularly enjoy books that spend paragraphs describing scenes for romance novels. This book was balanced well.
The story had a great beginning and middle, but it sort of crashed out in the end. We still got a good ending, but I felt that there was maybe another chapter or two of content that could have been added to the book to fill out some of the characters.
My main gripes are with the time spent (or lack thereof) on the parents, especially the mother. Another character, who shall remain unnamed, and is in fact unnamed doesn't appear until the very end of the book during the pinnacle scene. This character's role is not vitally important, but maybe seeding some extra content about them earlier would have made the surprise appearance at the 11th hour less strange. I say this because I honestly wanted to know more about these characters.
Other than that this seems like a good first book for this series of M/M shifter literature.
Ben Coffman, who writes as Blake R. Wolfe, Atreus Rosewood, and Eoghan R. Cunningham goes on to my banned authors / dnr list bc: ➪ produces audiobooks using AI "virtual voice" (by his own admission & he seems very proud of this fact..) ➪ using AI translation, essentially scamming foreign, non-English speaking readers with poor quality translations & then having the gross, entitled attitude of having no respect to other languages & cultures ➪ who knows what else he uses AI for (writing, covers.. etc) ➪ i do not support anyone who uses AI in any way, shape or form - AI is stealing. support real artists.
I just finished reading this book and for me it is a 4/5. I really enjoyed reading it and I purchased the next book in the series. This book is about a human, Aiden, and Parker, a wolf shifter. In this world, human and supernatural relationship are frowned upon. Parker follows a scent and saves Aiden’s life one stormy night. At that point, they both feel something. Aiden has known nothing but hurt and disappointment from men. So Aiden disappears and the two don’t see each other until Aiden shows up for a job at Parker’s house. The two men get to know each other but Parker does not tell Aiden the whole truth because humans are not supposed to know about the supernatural world. But of course things happen and Parker will be forced to be honest. I am looking forward to the next book.
I'm kicking myself for not reading a Blake R. Wolfe book before now. I really enjoyed Parker and Aiden's story. Poor Aiden keeps getting jerked around by the wrong guys and has sworn off men. Parker just wants to spend one summer without his overbearing parents trying to hook him up with the next rich person who catches their interest. These two meet one stormy night but Aiden is human, which will cause Parker all kinds of problems if his pack finds out. I liked the author's take on the paranormal world. Although this is a sequel series to another (which I haven't read yet, but will quickly fix that!) it didn't detract from my enjoyment of the book. I'm eager to read the rest of this series.
I'm always done to support LGBT authors and authors that write for LGBT. But that said this book has a good plot line, good story base and even likeable and unlikeable characters. The author first off I'm just going get started must not know anything about HR as in these days and he wrote it in 2023. Doesn't work as described. The whole mate thing has been done many times and unfortunately this one doesn't quite live up to it. This is a book you'll finish in less than a day if you have the time.
A quick read but well worth it. Aiden and Parker seemed well rounded and I felt for both of them when parts of their pasts were revealed. Aiden’s terror at potentially falling for someone again after the last guy was understandable and expected. Yet the pull towards Parker just couldn’t be ignored. Also Parker finally standing up to his mother and her pawning him off to influential men for her own game was the only way he was going to be happy. Thankfully Parker has two amazing friends that helped him get his affairs in order before so he could truly be with Aiden. Very much a HEA and the spicy was perfection. Can’t wait to read about the two friends!

Aiden, down and out human, gets fired from his new job because he didn’t put out for a bully supervisor. So he finds a job in construction and meets Parker, homeowner’ son—who was home for the summer. Parker’s mother was having the already impressive kitchen renovated because she had money and a whim. Aiden, damaged by the bully and distrustful of good looking men, meets Parker again in Parker’s home. And the rest of the story, predictable, but entertaining, gets told.
MM werewolf/human love story. It was cute and a tad cheesy at times, but if you are in it for the smut then you should probably pick it up. I feel that the ending was a little too abrupt, when Parker was demolishing his mother's plans everyone was like "oop leaving" instead of confronting her about it. Though the Alpha did confront her I wanted a little more drama. Might have to pick up the second novel when it comes out.

Forbidden mate but I didn’t feel any forbidden vibes
The premise sounds really angsty but in the end it’s just kind of meh. If pairing a werewolf and a human is such a huge deal, I’d expect a little more tension or UST or some time of danger. But here there’s nada besides terrible parents. The pack rules dictate everything but the pack is never on page so it’s missing the that sense of community. So overall an interesting premise, but it fell flat for me.
Sweet, fun, and spicy werewolf shifter/human summer romance.
In this you'll find: ✨️MM Paranormal romance ✨️Gay Alpha werewolf from a rich family ✨️Gay human artist down on his luck ✨️Fated mates ✨️No kn&tting or MPreg ✨️Being kicked out for being gay ✨️Emotionally abusive parent ✨️Talk of arranged marriage ✨️Rescue from nearly dying in a storm surge ✨️Retaliation from a date for not taking things further ✨️A HEA
This was so sweet! I loved both these men. The angst was enough to make the book not a complete mushy sweet mess. The problems got tied up well and quickly, classic convenience of a Romance. There were a couple missing words here and there that got a little annoying but the story was fantastic. The characters were just so easy to love. If you’re looking for something short, sweet, and a sprinkle of emotional moments, look no further.
This is a wonderful story about a human, a wolf shifter and two of the most wealthy, arrogant and manipulative parents you could ever imagine. Sweet and slightly shy Aiden is treated poorly by a workmate he thought liked him, sadly he was hurt and therefore wary. Parker is son to absolutely hideous but extremely wealthy parents, he's so tired of his mothers manipulations. When these two meet, all problems seem to fade away, or do they . . . .
Three book series and you can't stop at one - grab all three books!
The series follows three best friends that have their world tilted upside down. Parker controlled by parents finally stands up for himself. His two best friends stand beside him. His mate is finally free to follow his dreams! M M romance
I love this author and his warewolves!!!! The story is awesome and brings all the characters into play as well as the nasty players which Parker takes care of per his alpha nature!!!! I read if in one setting and already looking forward to the second book of the series oh and the sex scenes are HOT Thank you -Lori
Poor Aiden has been taken advantage of in the past. He doesn’t trust easily. He and Parker have an instant connection. I enjoyed it! Parker has to figure out how to have a human a mate, but it does take him long to realize that anything is worth it if he gets to keep Aiden. One of my favorite types of tropes.
🎧 The saying ‘love is love’ is felt throughout this book. You can’t help who you love. Neither knew what was going to happen when they met, nor did they know that their lives would be forever changed by a mate bond. There were also bio-family members who didn’t approve of their sexuality and they were dealt with (which made me smile). They found their family in each other and that what mattered.
Some rather intense emotions, laced with bits of angst and self doubt, form the framework for this relationship. Minimal history for the shifter worldview, sufficient character development and a positive ending with a promise for the series.
I'm ready to read this new series. It's got Tellurian Pack blood link because Alpha Chance is cousin to Alpha Parker. Didn't want to put this book down. I have a feeling the rest will be the same. ENJOY!
It was nothing special. I am not sure how I feel. One I liked that Aidens first date was kind of taken care of. Not happy the parents got away with the problems they caused.
Werewolves and humans do not intermingle and with a batch of a mother, Parker is doubly screwed. Poor Aiden has been kicked like a street dog for years and mistreated. Trusting men is a big thing for him. Aiden, human, Parker, werewolf, can't fight fate they are mated for life.
Me encantó la novela los personajes increíbles con mucho amor y pasión logran sortear las diferencias y conflictos para llegar a vivir su amor y ser felices sencillamente maravillosa la recomiendo 💯
