The last thing he wants is a relationship with someone who will have expectations of him. But once he's enticed by the shimmering-pink lips of the oh-so-popular, academically-excelling, straitlaced hottie from his new school, he knows he's in trouble.
Seventeen-year-old Dara Golding has one goal for the make enough money to buy a car, so that she can drive to school her senior year. After starting a new job, she realizes that she'll be working with the brooding, motorcycle-riding, bad boy who started attending Quail Mountain High last year. With his less than stellar reputation, he's everything she's afraid of...and that makes him dangerous.
Their undeniable attraction has Stone struggling with his inner demons. As Dara slowly allows Stone to claim her heart, a little white lie to cover an ugly truth could determine whether she's his savior or the final straw that will break his sanity.

I'd been wanting to read this book for a while before I finally did! The author asked me to review it for her, but I had already bought it, so I offered to move it to the top of my TBR list for her! This book was so much better than I was expecting! I was expecting to enjoy it, but the book also had sexual tension, a solid plot and great characters! I have to be honest and say that the plot was a little slow to start with, but soon twists were added that changed everything and make it more interesting! I really enjoyed the plot! It kept me interested and I found myself reading a few more chapters every chance I got! I wasn't expecting some of the twists that happened so I quite surprised with how they progressed! Overall, I really enjoyed the plot and I'm excited to read the next book and see how it's going to progress! The characters were amazing! Stone was the main male character and he was so hot! He referred to himself as conceited and a badass throughout this book and he so was! He was also going through a tough time in this book and all he needed was someone to help him and understand him! His love interest, Dara, was the one to do just that! She was persistent with Stone and wanted to get to know the real him and not the façade that he portray! My heart did go out to Stone in this book, but I definitely think that Dara helped him try and come to terms with what he had been through! Dara was the main female character and I completely adored her! She went through a tough time in this book as well and all she needed was a shoulder to cry on! She had been through a lot in her life and Stone was the one who showed her how to really live again! When Stone came along the two of them realised how much they needed each other and how much they helped each other when they were together! As a couple, Stone and Dara were so cute! They made such a good couple and I loved watching their relationship develop! I was under the impression from the cover that this book was going to be written from only Stone's point of view, so I was pleasantly surprised when it was actually written from Stone and Dara's point of view! I really enjoyed reading Dangerous from both of their point of views as they were really interesting characters and they both had different parts to their stories! I didn't know that this book was part of a series until I saw sign-ups for a Cover Reveal for a second book, so I signed up to help! I'm really looking forward to reading the next book and I'm really happy I don't have to wait for it to release! Plus, the ending of this book was a little abrupt, but so cute! The cover for Dangerous is so hot! I would like it if it had a girl on the cover as well, but I still love it with only a guy on it! It's different too!
I finished the book in one day, I guess that pretty much says it all. I am an addict for a good romance story. Find mine in this book. I had my share in the romance categories, but this was a perfect written story. You have your bad boy in it, the sweet girl, the problems, the ups and downs to they’re life, twist that you won’t see coming, everything! And, the bonus part, the story continues, but there isn't a cliffhanger! Suzannah Daniels wrote the story well, you get to know the characters, to understand they’re feelings and to know how they think and feel. My heart was with Stone and Dara the entire time. But, to get to the point, let me tell you about the book and the characters.
The story happens in Tennessee. A beautiful town, with roads around the mountain, that would make you think they were made especially for Stone Hamilton. He is the type of guy that every girl swoon over him, bad boy, dark hair, blue eyes, muscular body, mysterious, dark and dangerous. He rides a motorcycle, it’s his crutch, the only thing familiar that could make him comfortable and stable.
„He’s the kind of guy that makes a girl forget his name.”- Dara
Even if he appears to be the most confident person on the earth he isn't. Stone didn't know what fear was, until Luke’s accident, his twin brother. He lost his twin, he feels he is to blame. He doesn't get along with his other brother, Dylan, not even with his family. I think you could say, a bad boy with a broken soul. His family it’s away in Europe, but he prefers staying home and taking care of his father shop. Quail Mountain Books, the store that makes him think about his brother Luke because he loved reading. He loves working there, especially because he manages the marketing strategy for it, his friend Tom helps with the numbers, all he has to do is make the shop work, sell some books, CD’s or games, and prove to his father that he can run the business.
When school ended, Tom considered employing somebody to help with the store, but not in a million years, has Stone considered that he will hire the one and only Dara Golding. She goes to his school, the perfect seventeen years old girl, with blonde hair and sparkly green eyes. She dates the football star, Chance Murray, and he thinks of her as a little snob, even if he didn't ever speak to her at school. The first day she starts work, he realizes that there is more to her than he thought. She isn't a snob, she isn't dating Chance anymore and he loves hanging around her, talking to her and joking around. She does her job well, even came up with some brilliant ideas for the shop. Smart and beautiful. But his arrogant around her, testing Dara to see if she has a nervous spot to crack it just for entertaining. They begin flirting, going out and he can’t keep his head straight around her. Dara makes him to open up about his live and he doesn't' want that.He wants to keep it to himself and be the Stone everybody knows, especially the girls: acting cocky and arrogant. He warns her that he isn't a good guy for her, she needs someone sweet and delicate like her. But, you can't command you're heart!
„You can’t take to many precautions to keep yourself safe from people like.”-Stone
So, things started heating up, but Stone wont let her in his heart and mind. The problem with him, is that he prefers to not have a relationship, just keeping it casual, and he has a casual friend, Jessie. They usually meet every day, he likes Jessie but she isn't his girlfriend, she doesn't know him or what happened to him. She is a stranger with benefits. But his heart and mind it’s still with Dara. They start hanging out, he sees the way he affects her, that they are perfect together. Why trust her? What does she have that other girls don’t? Why tell her about how he truly fells and what happened to him? Is she going to run away after knowing the truth? Is she going to hurt him?
This are the main questions you will find Stone asking himself. I think I gave you a lot of spoilers, but I couldn't help myself. I loved the book and the story. I loved Stone and Dara. You could sense that these two are incredible good together. She is the calm one, that will always be by his side, and he is the unpredictable one that needs someone he can trust and love in order to get his life on track again. This couple have a lot going on, a lot of problems and decision to make in this road if they want to succeed. But trust me, this book it’s worth it. You are going to love it, and Stone’s and Dara’s love story. It will leave you with a big smile on your face and a wonderful feeling that will stay with you. It can’t disappoint you. So give it a try because I highly recommend this book. I especially want to thank Suzannah Daniels for giving me the chance to read and review DANGEROUS. I absolutely loved it and I can't wait to read book two, DEVIOUS!
„Without a little danger to get your heart pounding every now and then, life would be incredibly dull.”- Stone
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
While contemporary romance isn't really my genre of choice, I was somewhat impressed with Dangerous.
I got very distracted in the beginning because of the incorrect comma usage--of the "sweet, little, old man" variety--but learned to tune it out. Stone's POV in the beginning also made me want to roll my eyes--a guy that's noting every detail of Dara's outfit? Some of the words and phrases still felt overused to me (silky, for example: "silky, red tie" and "silky skin"--why not red silk tie and smooth skin?). I also found some of the dialogue unbelievable and stilted. The writing was otherwise well-edited, and better than I've seen in many self-published books so far.
What it comes down to, though, is that I've usually shied away from stories whose main genre is romance for a number of reasons. Notable among them is that I've often seen shoddy characterization and no real plot or even a hint of a plot, which make the romance feel unrealistic and unsatisfying, and I am a big fan of subtle romance, not in-your-face "steamy" and overwriting and overdescribing. (These are all reasons why I tend to love YA fantasy with a hint of romance, and why romance that I'll give a chance, and do end up liking, is usually YA.)
So for my personal concerns here, Dangerous largely succeeded. Daniels created believable characters and realistic situations, and the story was paced well. Something was always happening, whether that something was developing a character, moving a relationship along, or something more dramatic. I felt that the characters had depth and were dynamic--I enjoyed seeing them grow from the beginning to the end. The supporting characters were not just there to tell the main characters they were in love with each other, and the main characters didn't say such a thing when it wasn't even close to warranted.
Also, I almost rolled my eyes when I realized it was alternating first-person POVs, as alternating POVs are a pet peeve of mine (and in first-person and in romance-centric stories, triply so). But I actually found that Daniels did a really good job with it. It heightened the tension, rather than removing it, while also giving us good insight into both main characters we might not have otherwise gotten. In other words, she had a reason for doing it, and I thought she did it well, whereas I normally feel like it's a gimmick trying to mask a weak story.
The romance was still steamier and more center-stage than I generally prefer; I like subtlety. But, to be fair, I got kind of scared when I saw that some had shelved this book as "new adult", with NA's current connotation of explicit sex scenes, and Dangerous, if on the "more-graphic-than-I-prefer" side, is still actually YA and somewhat restrained. It's definitely upper YA, though.
Another thing that worried me when I saw that this book is part of a trilogy was that the book would end on a cliffhanger without any sort of resolution. I also have a hard time imagining a romance that can be so back-and-forth that it will believably and realistically work as a trilogy. Thankfully, Daniels avoids those pitfalls and creates a good amount of resolution by the end of this book, such that this book can stand alone.
The warmth from his hands was like heaven against my icy skin, but his close proximity was dangerous to my hammering heart. In fact, if I had to describe Stone Hamilton in one word, it would be dangerous.
Whenever I read a book I never go back and reread the book description before I start. I love to go in with an element of surprise. When I started reading Dangerous, for some reason I thought it was a paranormal book, so I kept waiting for that aspect to be introduced. I think maybe the title had me thinking that, but I'm not too sure. Anyway, it's a contemporary. No paranormal whatsoever.
Dangerous is told in the alternating voices of our two main characters Stone Hamilton and Dara Golding. Dara is sweet and popular and has just broken up with her longterm boyfriend Chance. Her main goal is to start her new job at the local bookstore and save enough money to buy herself a car. Stone is in his own words "Conceited and a badass". He has no desire to have a girlfriend. He chooses girls who like things just like him. No strings attached. He is broody and loves nothing more than the feeling of being free when he's riding his motorbike. Both have had to deal with some horrible tragedies in their lives and they both carry the scars of those things with them.
He kissed me gently at first. but then he nibbled at my lip and his tongue slipped into my mouth. I wasn't just being kissed. I was being devoured.
Stone and Dara are going to be working closely together at the bookstore. Dara knows Stones reputation, but she can't help the draw that she feels towards him. Stone lets Dara in. She asks questions that make him think. And he finds himself wanting more than the shallow hookups that he's had in the past. But love never runs smooth and Stone and Dara are going to have their feelings for each other tested on more than one occasion. Will they each think that the other is worth fighting for?
Eventually, she'd know more about me than she really wanted to know. I had told Dara too much already. Better that I not delude myself with dreams of grandeur. There was no rewind button. No clicking an undo arrow. This was my life, and it sucked.
Suzannah Daniels has written a story that was incredibly easy to read. The writing flowed really well and kept me interested throughout. The two main characters were likeable and I really enjoyed experiencing Stone and Dara's romance through the eyes of both of them. Stone has a big ego. His opinion of himself is pretty crazy but I felt for the most part it was pretty tongue in cheek and who can't help but fall in love with the motorcycle riding bad boy!! The secondary character that I enjoyed the most was Granny. She's got spunk and she had me grinning at some of the things that she would say, but she is also incredibly loving and caring.
I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next for the characters and discovering more insight to a few things left open in book one.
Stone a Sinful & Delicious guy with a BadBoy vibe who rides a motorcycle. Stone has the Smolder down pat too what with his Dark hair, Intense light eyes, Lean body, and his Ego Watch Out!!! Stone doesn't do relationships, he Enjoys No-String flings until Dara Golding... On another front Stone longs to make his father Proud of him. All Stone Wants is to make the bookstore his father bought a Thriving business and Prove to his father that he can do it, that he can be as Worthy as his other brothers'. Stone feels like all his dad sees is a Failure and Stone refuses to be that! Stone also carries an Immense amount of Guilt/Pain over the loss of his twin brother Luke who passed away 3yrs. ago in a Tragic accident and for this he keeps himself very closed off. In walks Dara the Popular golden girl at his high school who gets the Impeccable grades and dated the high school football stud. Dara also has own issues that bother her in regards to her mother abandoning her when she was little. Dara by random chance is hired to work for the summer in Stone's shop in order to help save up for a car and from here there's Trouble in the form of Scrumptious co-worker. Stone pursues Dara relentlessly then pushes her away like a game of Tug O' War if you will. Stone Teases, Flirts, and Loves to Fluster Dara. Dara knows he's Dangerous when it comes to her heart. She knows he will Shatter it eventually, But Dara can't help the Jolts of electricity that flows through her body when he touches her. Stone makes Dara feel "ALIVE" and she has never felt this way about anyone let alone her ex Chance. Stone is falling Head over Heels for Dara but won't admit it, nor let her in because she Scares the Beezus out of him! Stone feels out of control when Dara is around and can't help wanting to touch or be near her in any capacity. These two characters have a very Strong Pull between them and their Chemistry is off the charts. Their quick Banter is Fun & made me Giggle. Nothing comes easy for either one of them and both are Crushed when they come into a bit of news that ties their families together. Stone runs, Dara hurts. This book has crying, forgiveness, new starts, swoon factors, and sweet moments. I Definitely Recommend Buying yourself a Copy Today!
I was given this book by the author for my honest review and it's books like these that make me love what I do. Let me tell you that I love Stone Hamilton. He's got dark hair crystal blue eyes and more baggage than you could ever imagine but deep down, once you get past his tough guy exterior, he's the type of guy that " makes a girl forget her own name". I really enjoyed this book a lot. It was a quick read and I wanted much much more. Thank goodness there are two more books in this series or I'd go nuts.
Ok so Stone is a bad boy, or so he seems. After the accident three years ago his life spiraled down hill. He flunked out of a good boarding school, he started having meaningless relationships and is kind of reckless on his motorcycle. Stone tries to shut everyone out. He loves his mom but is so tired of his dad thinking he's worthless. He's going to prove him wrong by making the bookstore he owns into a a money maker..
Then comes Dara. She's the new summer help at the store but Stone remembers her from school. She was the happy go lucky girl always attached to her jock boyfriend. Dara is beautiful and sweet but total trouble to Stone. He knows he can have any girl he wants but does he want to let her into his life? she's the type of girl that will want to ask questions and Stone isn't ready for that. That's why he dates Jessie. She doesn't ask questions so he can just call her up anytime he wants and it's totally cool. Dara gets to him thoug and he can't seem to stay away even though he knows he should.
Just when things seem to be going good for Stone life throws him another curve ball that leaves him all alone again. Is Dara worth breaking down his walls and opening up his heart too or will Stone fall back into his loner self being with the girls that are safe?
Fall in love with Stone Hamilton. I dare you not to. :)
Who would not want a thrill ride of a book on the back of a bike with hottie named Stone! I know several of you out there are say well duh?! I have that very story right here written by Suzannah Daniels and let me tell you she left it smoking in my hands! I have to say though there is so much more to the story than what lies on the cover amid the pages is a guy Named Stone Hamilton who wants everyone to believe he's the bad boy but underneath that is a heart that is aching for someone to love him if only he will let his guard down long enough to let someone in. As his life becomes more complicated he meets the one thing that could make or break him Dara Golding she is not short in the looks department either let's just say she turns a few heads. Stone and Dara are like hot and cold but when they connect the sparks fly like fireworks on the forth of July. They are almost to hot to handle. I was completely rooting for them and wanted to see stone let down the barriers that he had put up around his heart and see Dara become something more than her looks. They deserve to win Stone deserved to be loved. As the story goes though not everyone has a happy ending lies get told and secrets covered and that's when it all comes crumbling down...or does it?! Not every story ends with true love conquering all or with happily ever after but, this one could I can't tell you the ending that would ruin the book for you and we can't have that so I guess you will have to read this one for your self to find out what lies in Dangerous.
For a YA novel there was a lot of sexual tension which I like in my books. Stone I liked him, he was a complicated character there's a lot of s*** he was dealing with and Dara helps out with his issues just like Stone helps out with her issues. Stone is a funny guy, "you wouldn't want to accidently cut yourself," he explained as he held my gaze. "The smell of blood sends me into a frenzy, as well, I'd hate to sink my fangs into that pretty, little neck of yours." I liked being inside his mind, "I decided right then and there that Dara would look good no matter how her hair was fixed and no matter what type of clothing she wore." Dara she's a cool chick she has the type of relationship I have with my Granny, "my granny happens to be very cool. She couldn't knit a sock or make a quilt if it were the key to a man's heart - not that knitting and quilting aren't cool." Stone is also upfront what he wants from Dara (well part of the time) "hell, no. I want you to be my girlfriend." When Dara is pi**ed she lets Stone know, "let me explain," I said, pointing my finger at him. "You humiliated me in front of all my friends. You were on a date with me, but you left me standing there like an idiot while you left with her. Who does that? Oh, wait...a pompous rakehell, a selfish cad, an arrogant asshat... that's who. Do you know what those words mean or do you want me to hand you a dictionary?" I'm ready for book two when it comes out.
Stone Hamilton and Dara Golding are complete opposites but find themselves drawn together over one summer. Stone portrays himself as a motor bike riding bad boy but inside he is hurting and hurting bad. Past events have made him believe that he is worthless and unlovable. Dara is one of the popular girls at school. Stone believes her to have the perfect life but underneath is hiding a lot of hurt too.
When Dara takes a job in the store that Stone is managing, it doesn't take him long to realise that he is in serious trouble. Dara gets under his skin and doesn't gloss over the difficult stuff that he tries to hide from. She takes the time to get to know the man that he is and helps to confront his inner demons and in turn he helps her. Only thing can destroy this fragile relationship and that is the lie that Dara has told about her own family.
I loved this book so much! It is two young adults trying to find their way in the world, through the emotions and difficulties of growing up and falling in love. Right from the start Suzannah Daniels turned the stereotypes for both Stone and Dara on their heads. Stone's attitude and bad boy demeanour is a cover for his vulnerability and fear of rejection, whilst Dara is a popular girl with the biggest heart and the warmest personality ever. The book leaves you wanting more of their story and thankfully there is more to come as this is the first in a series. I can't wait to read more!
This is my first read by Suzannah. I liked it very much. It has all the makings of a Y/A book.
Dara and Stone are high school students who both work at a book store during the summer. Stone your typical bad boy who rides a bike, has so many sides to him you thought he was Bipolar. One minute he is happy and laughing, talking sweet nothings in Dara's ear. The next he is all pissed off because he knows he should stay away from Dara but he couldn't. Something drew him to her.
Dara who is like the girl next door, grew up with her granny. Dara has the coolest friends and kind of like the most popular girl in school. Everyone knows her. But they don't know about her family.
The story flowed smoothly. There was drama at the right time. The characters seemed old for their age. Their families have ties together that Dara and Stone don't really know about.
Toward the end, I was getting upset. It seemed like right when things were going really well for the both of them. They were slammed with such a dark, ugly situation that happened when they were both younger.
I am not going to say to much more. What happened in their past? Who does it involve? Do they have their HEA in this story? When I found out that their story continues I was happy. I can't wait to read the next book to see how it all folds out.
Stone is your typical bad boy on a motorcycle he has done everything he could to keep people away from him emotionally. Walls he built up so no one could see that side of him. He only went after bad girls that never asked questions no real connections means no emotions. This worked for him intell she came into his work for the summer. Dara was popular and a good girl but he couldnt stop looking at her couldnt stop wanting to be around her to touch her. Dara just breaking up with her boyfriend cant seem to stay away from Stone. She is drawn to him. She brings something out of him that no one else gets to see. She is slowly taking down his walls. She is falling hard. She has problems of her she is dealing with. i love this story i love the POV being between both dara and stone it makes you love both characters more. you fall for the characters you sometimes want to slap stone but yet you love him. This was a amazing book.
Suzannah Daniels is an amazing writer, I loved the flow for Dangerous. You couldnt help but fall for the characters. What I loved most is that the rules seem to be reversed which was a nice change. Usually its the girl who has all the money and comes from a well up bringing and the guy who is from the wrong side of the tracks. However, Stone soon finds out that things are not always what they seem when it comes to Dara. All though she may be popular and pretty, there is still so much more to her that not everyone knows. Not that Stone worries much he's not into Dara or relationships or so he says.
I highly recommend reading Dangerous, there is so much drama, never a dull moment. You're heart goes out to Stone and Dara both, you're heart will be shattered and repaired a couple different times but once you start to read this book, you wont be able to put it down.
Let me start by saying that this is the first book I read from Suzannah and I totally loved it. I got a copy in exchange of an honest review and let me just say that from the moment I started reading this story, it dragged me in completely until the end. The characters are amazing and the story is described wonderfully. Stone has a past that hunts him 'till this day and he punishes himself for it, feeling like he doesn't deserve a life full of love and hapinness, until Dara comes into his life and everything changes. I love this story because it has a bit of everything, loss, sadness, love, encouragement. I laughed, I cried and their story made me fall in love with them. Great story Suzannah, I highly recommend it. Thank you for giving me the chance to read it, I enjoyed it very much, it was amazing. Looking forward to read more from you, thank you :-)
First I'd like to state that I received this book from Suzanna for an honest review. What can I say about Stone and Dara? Well for starters nobodies life is perfect and you can't judge anyone by looks alone. Everyone has there own trials in life.Sometimes it just takes letting yourself be open to love to heal the wounds of the heart. DANGEROUS is very well written. I love how descriptive Ms. Daniels is with her characters. They are so well written, you easily fall in love with them. The story was very bittersweet. At times my heart ached for them and at times I shed tears for the love that I felt between them. Half way though the book I had to buy DEVIOUS book two in the series. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a heart warming story about falling in love.
I have to start off by saying that this is the first book from Ms. Daniels' that I have read and I must say that I have fallen for her writing style. This book flowed smoothly and is extremely well written, which kept me entertained for a few hours of reading and entering into this world that the author has created. I fell in love with this story from beginning to end. I loved the characters in the story. Stone is sexy, arrogant, conceited and a total badass, except when his heart is captured by Dara. Sign....I think I am in love with Stone. I highly recommend this awesome romantic story to all romance lovers who loves to see the guy get the girl. It's a phenomenal must read. I received an e-ARC copy of this book, directly from the author, in return for an honest review.
Dangerous, a good book to read. The story and the flow is good and I love how the characters were created (written). From the start up to the last, it's good.
The characters, Stone and Dara are good. I love how they are easy to relate with and get attached into. Stone, he's cool but sometimes I hate because of how he acted. But as the story goes, I got to love him though. He's sweet and I love how badass he looked. Dara, even though she's popular she's not bitchy and snob..
The story, I loved it.. It's not boring and I love how the chemistry of the characters are easy felt. There are times that I want to throttle Stone butman, he made the story good.. All in all, this book (story and all) is great.
What a great storyline! The ups and downs of this book.Whew.Stone is one tough guy..with of course the attitude that goes with it.Dara is the good girl. The popular girl. What will happen when these two meet? Will sparks fly?I thoroughly enjoyed this book. There were some moments when I felt the story could have picked up but other then that a great read!I absolutely loved the ending when Stone went to Dara.I won't say any more so as not to give the ending away.Granny was an awesome character as well. I definitly look forward to reading Suzannah Daniels next books!
This story is the all American summer love story! I love it... Every time I read these types of stories it brings back so many fun memories!!! And don't forget about the emotions!! And that to me makes a great book. I could go on and on about how good this book is. But right now I want to talk about Stone! *swoons* Oh man, you could not get a more hotter, motorcycle riding, amazing character! He is such a bad boy that just screams "love me" LOL Dara is such a lucky girl!! There is a pretty good twist in this book that makes you say "uh-oh...that's not good". I can't wait to read book 2 Devious. This is a must read!!!
This books is great. Stone is a great guy with a bad boy persona. He's hiding a painful event and trying to move forward. He knows who Dara is from school, but when he meets her at work, she is nothing like he thought she would be. The two become close, helping each other face painful memories together. What I loved most about this book is that even though it is the first of a two-part, there's no cliffhanger. The books is great at building up that wonderful knot of anticipation and then delivering. Its a great read!
A sweet, simple YA. Not sure if I will read the sequel. This was a nice read. I am not sure I will be reading the sequel. It was just missing something. I am not not sure. There is barely any drama or angst. Anything that does happen is solved immediately.
Dara is a very sweet heroine. Even when Stone is not that nice to her, she just replies with sweetness. She was just a good person.
The switch in POVs bothered me. They happened too frequently. At times, I did not know whose POV I was reading. It sounded like the same voice.
I must say I was impressed with this book. Stone is a typical bad boy cool kid and Dara is the typical studious nerd. There's an attraction between them both but Stone is battling some demons and Dara has some secrets of her own.
An inoffensive story about dealing with tragedy and loss, and how a teen perceives attitudes towards them and how they deal with the guilt.
Dara and Stone are great characters brought alive by the excellent writing skills of Ms Daniels.
I will certainly be reading the second book in the trilogy.
Dangerous by Suzannah Daniels is a quick easy read. The book is written from two points of view, that of Stone Hamilton, a troubled "bad boy" motorcycle enthusiast and Dara Golding, a beautiful intelligent seventeen year old "good girl". Suzannah Daniels' use of description and attention to details makes it easy for the reader to visualize the settings and characters in the story. I received a free ebook version of Dangerous from BookBub and rate it 3.5
I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. I haven't had a book make me cry this much in a long time! The ups and downs of Dara and Stone are gut wrenching! Stone and Dara have both had a lot of pain in their lives, but her caring nature starts to break down his walls. He thinks he's a badass, but is he as badass as he acts? LOVE!!!!!
Thank you for this book Suzannah! I won this ebook and loved it! I just finished reading & was disappointed it was the end!! Stone was a great character easy to like & definitely appeared to be a "badass" but also a sweet caring guy. Dara was easy to love the girl next door type. Granny is amazing & love that a bit of her story was in here too! Great read!!
I don't read romance often but it was very nice to encounter a realistic one for a change. Dara & Stone both had flaws & the both made mistakes just like real people. Often romances are so unrealistic I give up on them before finishing but I read this on in one sitting
