Loved it. I lost myself in it for several hours, while poring over the map, and am now feeling quite well prepared for next week's visit! I like the layers of this book, the places it takes you away from the tourist trail, the whole section of articles it offers on culture, religion and history and the impacts of tourism, etc., in addition to the basic up to date travel information you need.

Good guide. Has a lot of history of the places and sights if you're into that kind of research. The list of places to stay and eat pretty much is resolved with nowadays phone apps, but the book will save you time and effort in the quest of what to visit, do and look for in Bali.
