Meanwhile, a group of Coalition Special Forces is sent into the very heart of the warrior’s home system in an attempt to gain any information they can on their new enemy. I really enjoyed this book. While I am not generally a huge sci-fi fan I was recommended this book by a friend. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was romance/action intermingled into the story. The character development was great and the unique short flashbacks allowed me to understand the characters better than usual. I found it interesting to see where each of them had come from, which helped them play their particular part in the story. I was surprised and pleased at the ending and am looking forward to a sequel if there is one!

I firmly believe that BOOKS are very important.
Especially today. In a world gone crazy with instant gratification, & where most people have the attention span of a shelled-turtle.. It becomes the duty of everyone who STILL loves to read, to make an effort to preach the benefits of a GOOD BOOK!
In the case of a NEW AUTHOR, it is an even greater challenge. How do I get someone to TRY something untested by the usual plethora of reviews afforded well known authors? TWO WORDS.. "TRUST ME!"
I have been reading SCI-FICTION since Azimov was writing for Science fiction magazines that cost a DIME!
Reading Jay Korza's "Extinction," gave me the same feeling I had at the age of 10.
The Characters are well defined, The story is exciting, and in a genre that has gotten so scientific, you need a degree in physics to follow the story-line, Extinction keeps it simple, and tantalizingly fast paced. In conclusion, you can order the KINDLE version for only $2.99. Take a chance on a new author, & like me, You too will be begging Jay Korza for more, MORE.. MORE!
