On a glorious fall day in 2012, while sitting in a garden graced by a statue of Mother Mary, Gina Lake heard Mother Mary address her: "You are my beloved child." This began an ongoing relationship and communication with Mother Mary. This book, Ten Teachings for One World, is a message from Mother Mary to all her beloved children on earth. The teachings are intended to bring us into closer contact with the peace and love that is our divine nature, which has the ability to transform our hearts and our world. Mother Mary's gentle wisdom will inspire and assist you in awakening to the magnificent being that you are.
Gina Lake is a nondual spiritual teacher and the author of over twenty books about awakening to one’s true nature. She is also a gifted intuitive and channel with a master's degree in Counseling Psychology and over thirty years’ experience supporting people in their spiritual growth. In 2012, Jesus began dictating books through her. These teachings from Jesus are based on universal truth, not on any religion. Then in 2017, at the request of Jesus, Gina and her husband, who is also a nondual spiritual teacher, began offering Christ Consciousness Transmissions to groups online in weekly meetings and monthly intensives. These energy transmissions are a direct current of love and healing that accelerate one’s spiritual evolution. Gina’s YouTube channel has over 175 messages from Jesus to listen to. As a writer of the integration of various worldviews, I found Gina Lake's book very helpful with many good insights. But I could not accept that these "teachings" were given to her by Mary, the mother of Jesus. The tone, words and thoughts were very much new age, not at all in the mind and character of Mary. But when I approached it as the writer's version of a particular spiritual teaching, I had no trouble with it.
This book is worth the read for anyone that is seeking to understand life, how to navigate it, and be successful spiritually, as well as other areas of life. It is well written and informative with great insights into human behavior. The author speaks of life being driven by the egoic self-versus the higher self or spiritual self. It speaks to the unity of consciousness and invites the reader to consider “teachings” that may bring about a different awareness and a resulting opportunity to apply new knowledge. For example, the 4th teaching; accept life as it is. The 5th teaching; Realize that your thoughts and feelings are not yours. The 6th teaching: Be with what is real. These topics along should provoke interest as to why these teachings are suggested and important. This is actually an audiobook on audioenlightment.com which has many great books.
I am deeply interested in the nondual perspective on living and awakening. I found this book concise, practical, and powerful. It contains a comprehensive summary of nonduality, expressed in language easy to understand and apply.
Straight to the Point You can think of this book as the "new 10 commandments", very straight to the point and lists the major tools for spiritual evolution, really enjoyed it
Once again Gina Lake has provided a compelling read for those interested in spiritual development. Her writing style exhibits clarity, simplicity, and profundity all at once. She takes us through the steps necessary for spiritual enlightnment after she herself had received insights from Mother Mary. It draws upon a neo-Buddihist outlook as well as her Christian figure. The greatest value, though, is in her own logical yet deeply meaningful message. Congratulations Gina, you've done it again.
This is a consolidation of much of the writings and teaching son mindfulness , from Eckhart Tolle's A New Earth to The miracle of Mindfulness by Thich Nhat Hanh. reportedly through revelations of the Virgin Mary it is broken down into ten chapters, each written in good clear prose. It doesnt descend or ascend into metaphysical musings... it was about wisdom.. finding it, learning to use it in today's world. Making sense of it all. Recommended.
