Annette De Burgh was born in Liverpool UK. She moved to Scotland where among other things she did family counseling, served on the Children's Court for Glasgow (known as Children's Panel) and was then appointed a magistrate for the City of Glasgow and then the City of Coventry. Anne suffered a severe stroke in 2016 - but she continues to write.
Reminds me of Loving Annabelle. Once you get pass the teacher and student interaction, it is an intriguing story of endearing love over time. Though some of the obstacles and circumstances appear unbelievable, I reflect on the time period and think, that is possible. I enjoyed the poetry because it creates a sweet bond among Diana, Victoria and Samantha. "The course of true love never did run smooth".
