An interesting topic, but Croft's surface-level treatment left me feeling incomplete.

The recognize part seemed to consist of calling every stubborn character flaw a demon.
The defeat part seemed to consist of repentance and spoken prayer.
Neither of those things are bad (especially if they help people), but that's essentially the full substance of this book.

Jim Croft shares where he first had encountered demonic spirits inside of him and a pastor prayed over him, but his reaction wasn't anything like the movie Exorcist. He just felt the weight lifted off his shoulders, not heavy with these sins anymore that the pastor called out and binded up. He also shares other stories in relation to strongholds and demonic encounters.

He keeps giving credit to Derek Ministries, and praises them throughout the book that bothers me a little. He finally starts to tap into the topic in chapter 5 about Satan's kingdom.

The reason for purchasing this book a couple months ago to find out about recognizing and defeating demonic forces, which is known as invisible enemies; spiritual warfare. I will be teaching on this subject on DYRP Midnight Hour on March 1 and maybe March 8th at talkshoe.com (Call ID:91725) and later will be archived also on iTunes.

There are some things that I didn't fully agree with in this book.
