It's no secret that I have a love for conspiracy theories. It's also no secret that I have a love for somewhat esoteric religious thought. Esoteric may not be the best choice of word here, as it is really only esoteric in that, while it is open for all to see, most of the religious community doesn't really want to give the idea the time of day. Now, I'm not saying that everything held in this book is 100% true. I mean, let's be real, we're talking about the highest echelons of the Catholic church planning to create an apostasy which would say that space aliens are potentially a visitation from God. This book goes on to say that space aliens are not really from outer space at all, but are from another dimension (I had actually heard this theory thrown around before and, for this, there seems to be a legitimate argument, no matter what your beliefs are as to the why) and that they are actually demons. Exo-Vaticana is incredibly well researched and there are more citations than one would normally find in a doctoral thesis (unlike this review.) Regardless of what your beliefs happen to be I think that you will find something to get excited about in this book (for good or for bad.)

In summary, this material was never meant for the esoteric group that seems to be reading it, but something the whole Church should be reading and taking under serious consideration about the mechanism in which eschatology might come to fruition.

Where do I even begin in reviewing this book? Well, how about I start with comments where I’ve seen that this book is “incredibly well researched.” It’s not! I actually looked up many of their nearly 800 cited sources in the bibliography and guess what? Many of them don’t exist anymore, or don’t say anything like what they authors claim that they say, or are references to the authors’ own previous publications, or even better are links to crazy, conspiracy theory YouTube videos, websites, and articles on sites that are one step away from spouting Q’Anon nonsense. And I say many because they site the same source over and over and over and over. They even quote other books in this book, but the reference number goes to one of their earlier books where they also presumably quoted this same book…so, no original source for you. Nothing like quoting yourself. The authors also love to find fringe scientists who have crazy, crackpot, pseudoscientific hypotheses who have been laughed out of the halls of academia and hold them up as penultimate representatives of their chosen field of study.

Suffice to say, the Catholic Church, the entire genre of Science Fiction, all the Governments of the World, any religion that isn’t Evangelical Christianity, ideals such as Inclusivity, Multi-Culturalism, accepting or tolerating other people’s beliefs, Communism, etc., etc., etc., are all part of a vast global conspiracy to usher in the Alien Antichrist who will take over the world and cast out God, or something. Oh, and Aliens aren’t Aliens, they are actually Demons in Demon Spaceships from the Demon Dimension. Of course, Christianity is the original religion, as demonstrated by the Zodiac – after all, is not Virgo just Mary? All other religions came after the “Original Revelation” (again, see the Zodiac, and the associated minor constellations) and are just corrupted versions of Christianity.

The whole reason Aliens engage in hybridization? Well, that’s because the Messiah, a.k.a. Jesus, can only be born of “pure” Human DNA, thus the Aliens are attempting to max crazy crossbreed Human-Animals and hybrid Human-Aliens to prevent his birth…although, he was already born…so, I’m not sure how that works. Also, Noah’s Flood was to kill all the Alien-Hybrids, but by the authors’ own accounts, the Hybrids were all back within a few years…so, um…the all-powerful God killed everything and everyone for no reason? I should also point out that it’s not a hard stretch to change “pure Human DNA” to oh, say “pure Caucasian DNA”… To which I mean that the authors say that their can’t possibly be Aliens, or even if they were, they can’t have souls because the Bible says Humans were made in God’s image, not Aliens…so nothing that doesn’t look “Human” can have a Soul…which, again, isn’t hard to say that “Humans” only have say white skin, blonde hair, blue eyes, etc. Afterall, what kind of Human does God look like, right? I’m not saying that the authors are racist; however, searching one of their names took me to a website called “Prophecy News Watch” which is laced with anti-Trans, anti-Asian, anti-Arabian hate propaganda and articles.

The book also uses photographs that are known forgeries to support its point, and the authors admit that some photos are forged, but we are supposed to ignore that fact with their other “authentic” photos. They make up historical facts that I spent all of 10 seconds on Google to find out were lies, or rather to not find at all were they came up with their “fact.” I even found many of their “non-forged” photographs online with all the information about how they are forgeries.

Oh, oh, oh, and all Secularists, non-Evangelical Christians, Scientists, New Agey People, Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, Mormons, um, Catholics, I guess, etc., etc., deep down we all know that the Bible is pure fact, and we are just lying to ourselves constantly because we want Alien Jesus. That’s the whole reason we created SETI and Star Trek, of course. The authors will also tell you who to hate and who to like, because they make little condescending remarks after they quote the people who are wrong.

Overall, this book gave me a good laugh, and further convinced me of the delusions of the most devout Evangelicals. As represented by these authors, they are so convinced of their own self-superiority and self-righteousness that anything which challenges their views is not food for thought, but just further evidence that they are correct. After all, if their views were wrong, no one would challenge them, thus every opponent is just further proof of their own self-delusion. And, the authors’ recommendation on if you are starting to question anything is to stop and read the Bible – in fact, read nothing but the Bible and talk to no one except other Evangelicals.

I’m just glad that I got this book for roughly 45 cents and a used book store and the authors got nothing from me for it, and believe me they try. They are constantly telling you how you can find more information on their website (which, hey, doesn’t exist anymore) because if you bought this book the right way, there is a bunch of online resources and texts to accompany it, like a college textbook – with additional costs, I’m sure. Also, read all of their other books – each of which has it’s own full page ad in the back of the book, as well as where to buy them – which is another website that isn’t actually selling the books, but if you make a “donation” to their organization, you’ll get the book package which you donated for – which I’m sure is just a nice little tax scam.

Illogical claptrap

Endless quotations from the authors' other books, lengthy excerpts from books that are no longer in print, and alarmist conclusions drawn illogically from the quotations cited, this book is poorly edited making it difficult to read and it certainly does not prove anything. Moreover, it's already dated since Pope Benedict XVI stepped down in 2013 and Pope Francis would be the one they claim to call Petrus Romanus.

This is a long book and at first appears to have a rather crazy viewpoint, but after finishing it I think
there may be something to it. There is a lot of research and footnotes, the Catholic Church doesn't
come off to good in this book. I think the idea is that extraterrestrials might not be from far away,
but rather homegrown demons and Satan. That is scary. As Arthur C.Clark said, "Sometimes I think
we are alone in the universe, and sometimes I think we are not. In either case, the idea is quite
staggerling."

This is a great and plausible theory about the last days and how alien from other worlds could figure in. Spoiler alert: aliens = demons. Starts out good and then gets really bogged down in history of different theories. Hang in there because it picks up towards the end and ties everything up in a nice bow. Not saying this is all true but it is a very plausible answer regarding all the UFO sightings that seem to be always on the increase.

This is a comprehensive examination of UFO themes like intervention in ancient civilizations, cross-breeding, technology, communication with humans, return, and role in the future as it relates to changing attitudes in the Catholic Church. Horn and Putnam, the authors tackle controversies, conspiracies, and myths surrounding the connection between aliens and demons and the role of church and government alliances play. Much time is given to Vatican-sponsored projects and partnerships with government. There are chapters on astrobiology, space seed, alien intervention, hybrid humans, et al. The chapters on the reality of alien sightings, interaction with, and abduction is colored with Christian involvement. This adds a new strata to these topical discussions which i have never read. The authors do make a connection between biblical demons & angelic wars and coming returns of aliens (star children). I found these latter sections most compelling and impactful. The authors also pose questions to the person of faith. My heart and soul are processing them now as i write this review. I can attest that my faith has been strengthened by reading this book. This book expanded my knowledge but did not really challenge my already open mind to the topics therein. I do recommend this book highly to any skeptic or Christian student of the occult and UFOs. Well done!

This book is the stuff that good conspiracy theory is made out of. However, the authors go out of their way to factually support each tenet of their theory - that the anti-Christ will be presented as an "alien savior" from out of space. Each of their thoughts does seem to line up with what the Bible says - about how the anti-Christ will do great wonders in heaven and be a great delusion and will deceive many - if possible, the elect.

What is the most interesting thing, and definitely the reason to read the book, is to learn all the connections that the Catholic church has with secular extraterrestrial theories, how they control many observatories that exist simply looking for life "out there." Also, the book contains a lot of compelling evidence for government cover ups of encounters with aliens/demonic entities.

This book definitely freaked me out, but I had to take it with a grain of salt.

I found this book in the lobby of my apartment building a few months ago, and I do believe I was meant to find this. I've had many thoughts running through my mind for the past few years about religion, UFO/ET phenomena, and multiple/simulated universe theories, and Exo-Vaticana gave me some new perspectives on how to reconcile these concepts together. This piece is told from a Christian perspective and primarily focuses on how the Roman Catholic Church/Vatican officials have been slowly normalizing the idea of an extraterrestrial savior to humanity. I was aware that within the last decade there had been comments supportive of the existence of ETs coming out of Rome, but I was completely ignorant to the complete scope of their claims and just how far back this idea was actually introduced. Nor was I aware of their extensive astronomical activities involving telescopes in the mountains of Arizona. Furthermore, numerous quotations from Vatican officials are cited that more or less say that ETs would be welcomed as gods and that all religions should be changed based on whatever messages we receive from these hypothetical entities. Consequently, the authors assert that this could be the predicted "end times" event with the aliens acting as the Antichrist. It's a wild claim on the surface, but when you consider how few things could possibly unite all of humanity under one giant deception, the list becomes very short.

To be clear, the authors are not denying the existence of UFOs. In fact, there are several chapters that are expressly committed to convincing the reader that they are to be taken seriously. However, they do not believe these to be of extraterrestrial origin; instead, they posit that these are extradimensional of intradimensional "beings," meaning they are either coming from another dimension entirely, or another layer within the fabric of our own dimension that is not visible to us. This is actually a conclusion I have been warming up to for the past several years. I've been fascinated by UFOs for the better part of my life, and for a long time I would have told you unequivocally that they were the products of some intelligent life in outer space. This interpretation started becoming a bit problematic to me once I began studying more about simulation theory and the concept of multiple universes. The way these objects behave is so beyond our understanding that it seems much more likely that they are coming from a different physical plane entirely rather than traveling all the way across the universe in a ship like we would. I also can't help but be skeptical when even the United States government is now actively acknowledging that ETs likely exist and are declassifying video evidence after attempting to dissuade the public from such a concept for the last 75 years. It just doesn't smell right.

As we all know, the Bible (and pretty much every major religious text) is full of references to strange aerial phenomena, which leads the authors to contend that the UFOs we see today have been more or less around since the beginning of humanity. Their primary theory is a connection between current alien abduction accounts and the story of the fall of Lucifer, the creation of the Nephilim, and the Great Flood. Nearly every person that alleges to be an abductee has described some sort of procedure being performed on them that involved their reproductive system. This suggests that there could be some sort of alien-human hybridization program, which the authors connect to when the sons of God slept with human women and created the Nephilim, supermen purported to be giants that became vessels for the souls of Lucifer and other fallen angels seeking to spoil the human gene pool and ultimately genetically disconnect humanity from being able to achieve a connection with God. The Great Flood was created to destroy the Nephilim and give us a fresh start.

If the assertion regarding the Antichrist being presented as an intelligent being(s) from outer space is indeed correct, then the scenario described above would certainly make sense considering that is basically what happened the first time that Satan attempted to take dominion over the Earth. I realize it all sounds a bit fanciful, but I'm not above any perspective that helps me gain some light on these complex issues, and I can't wait to explore these types of interpretations even further.

A quarter way done with this book. Amazing, brilliant, well written, and holds your attention from the first word. Will say more when I finish.
The book started off strong but the unrelenting efforts of the authors (detail upon detail upon detail) to prove that UFOs exist, was draining. Let me explain, the authors do not believe in UFOs, per se, but in demonic manifestations that will be used as the great delusion spoken of in the Bible after the rapture. I agree with this. There were some interesting facts and evidence presented to support their theories, but again too much on UFOs. Worth reading, unless you are a devoted Catholic.

Very compelling book. A little long-winded at times, but this is due to the authors' attempt to leave no stone unturned. It is well organized and well documented. Some of the logic was a stretch or not explained as well as it could be, but the evidence submitted is undeniable and the main theory is thus hard to dispute. Spelling errors abound, but this is likely due to the authors' urgency in getting this book to print. It's worth the read, if you are not complacent to remain in the dark about all the weird things that are going on today, and are open to the fact that they just might be connected.

Long winded and definitely on the outer fringe. The entire premise of the Catholic/UFO connection seemed strained; or, better put, a good excuse to do a lot of speculating on UFOs. I found the inclusion of multiple interviews and references to fictional work to be somewhat lazy. Make the premise and cite the source. Don't make me read through all of it. And since when does fiction prove a point, unless it's cited simply to attest to influence in culture? Better work than Stargates, but could have used a good editor. Also, it debunked the oft reported "fact" that Christians don't see UFOs.

In the end, the Bible tells us we shall see all kinds of nonsense. I do want to be versed, but I don't want to get caught up in the nonsense, but rather would be steeped in truth.

A shocking investigation into the Vatican's view of the possibility of alien life and the apparent preparations they have made should such a disclosure be made. While this book is at times extremely scientific in nature (and I am not much of a science student!), if you stick with it, it is quite revealing and informative as well as being downright chilling. There are chapters on Marian apparitions (especially Fatima and Lourdes) and the little-known truths concerning the real story which has been kept from the public; a sound explanation for what these so-called "aliens" really are -- important and eye-opening for any one whether Christian or non-Christian; and the Vatican's ever changing story on when and how life began. These are the authors behind "Petrus Romanus", the shocking book written well over a year before the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI which of course proved astoundingly prophetic. Highly recommend, but it is a long book with massive footnotes -- extensive investigation and well-cited. Stick with it even during the more scientific parts and you won't be disappointed, but you will have your eyes opened and the Scriptures will begin to make more sense to you than ever before.

I truly understand the nature behind the author's work, but I find to much of this to be taking certain Scriptures and stretching them like a piece of chewed bubble gum to the views fit. I will say that the information provided on the Vatican and their evil motivations is enlightening, but I would classify this more as an eschatological conspiracy theory, rather than a distinct possibility observed from Scriptural study. It makes for a great conversation with our Church members and friends though. I recommend this, specifically, if you want to add another possibility of the end-times to your archives!

Although much of the overall premise and explanation for UFO/alien activity was very familiar to me, I found many things in the book to be quite fascinating. Below are a few quotes

"The secular world is neither wholly rationalist nor postmodern; rather, it is deliberately divided along the fact/values split. Modernism rules the lower-story fact realm, whereas postmodernism has a stranglehold on the upper-story values realm....this explains why otherwise hard-nosed scientists are prone to believing in extraterrestrials. As Michael Crichton pointed out, SETI is a religious quest. In other words, he means it resides in the upper story and is immune to reason. The divide is why you can get a degree in astrobiology, a field with absolutely nothing to study." -Chapter 11 Exotheology: Nature and Grace -pg 301

Someone recommended Exo-Vaticana to me about a year ago, so I decided to give it a shot. And I'm so glad I did.

I grew up being frightened by aliens. But at the same time, I loved Star Trek. The aliens in that show were GOOD, unfrightening aliens, and the optimistic world of the show offered an escape from my fears.

Unlike the optimistic aliens of Star Trek, Exo-Vaticana offers a different take on UFOs and the alien abduction phenomena. One that fully justifies my past fears. The idea that UFOs and alien abductions may be manifestations of demonic influence had never crossed my mind before, but the mountains of evidence offered here is compelling.

Authors Chris Putnam and Tom Horn offer more research than any non-fiction book I've read before. With over 800 citations, oodles of historic and biblical research, interviews with high profile UFO experts, and in depth investigations atop Mt. Graham in Arizona, they piece together a compelling case for the demonic nature of UFOs and uncover an agenda among many of the world's religions that points toward a future revealing of alien entities to the world at large.

A lot of the material in this book made me rethink what I thought I knew about real world UFOs. For one, I never realized that verifiable UFO phenomena resembles ancient demonic folklore to a tee. I never realized that the evidence for the Roswell crash was strong enough to be undeniable fact. Nor did I realize that there are high ranking officials in the Vatican who are actively searching for aliens to "evangelize."

If even one small, tiny tidbit of the information in Exo-Vaticana is true, the world faces grave days ahead of it. And if all of it proves to be true? God help us. This book is primarily targeted toward Christians, and the authors make a compelling case for why Christians need to be informed about this issue. Only those who stay vigilant and steadfast in the faith will be equipped to combat the oncoming deception from the skies.

I made it about half way thru the book, then lost interest. Partially because it veered away from the main point of the book and into seemingly unrelated, and potentially familiar territory.

Also, as I was reading through, I hated seeing the phrase "available on the data DVD for people who bought it from author's website". Thanks, that helps me alot, because i bought the kindle edition. the hard copy didn't have the DVD at the book store either. I bought kindle because it was cheaper. At least the information should have been summarized with a hotlink or include a link to a website that had the pertinent info from the DVD.

These authors put forth a lot speculation and it's just not worth practicing Acts 17:11 in examining all of the claims. For anyone looking for a Christian view on aliens and such, check out Ce4Research's website which has much free information that is more helpful than this.

This book provides amazing documentation about alien encounters, government involvement in cover-ups, the Vatican's attitude (at least the Jesuits') about aliens and their supposed representation in the Bible, etc., etc. The Vatican has a strongly vested interest in observatories and plans to connect with aliens at the earliest possible opportunity. A few insiders even consider it possible that Jesus is an alien! This book will keep you intrigued and on edge; it will most likely carry numerous bookmarks and color-coded markings! I highly recommend this book for opening up sleepy eyes about the universe around us.

Extremely well-researched and thoroughly documented background of the Vatican's heretofore ultra-secret Project L.U.C.I.F.E.R, with some additional insight into UFOlogy and the intense interest in same among the highest echelons of the Roman Catholic Church. Not a happy-clappy read by any means but essential for anyone who is intereested in Biblical prophecy and eschatology. Horn and Putnam put the lie to the oft-held (and false) notion that committed evangelical fundamentalist Christians are unlearned and shallow-minded. The erudition displayed here will alternately stun and enlighten you.

The main character of this book is a searcher with a nickname of optical sky watcher -Lucy. This book is a little hard to follow. The gist is that the Vatican has been waiting for the return of extraterrestrials. There is going to be a revealing of extraterrestrials soon based on the election of this last new pope. The Vatican just recently released a statement that it's okay to believe in extraterrestrials now. Interesting.
