Well yea, like everything in the 500 series: fun recipes, but only about 80 are original and the rest is just a lazy variation. Not that 80 isn't enough by any means, but why the need for 500?

A lovely compendium of all things juiced and smoothied. I’m not much for drinking my food; I guess I just like to chew things things too much. That, and I don’t want to miss out on all the fibre. But this book certainly brought forth some interesting flavour combinations and certainly had me entertained while reading every page.

Who needs 500 recipes? I got it because it was a free download. I probably made 5 of them, than done.

I wouldn’t recommend buying this book as most of these recipes you could find online. It would’ve been nice to have had some more details about each recipe. For example in the introduction it says that every recipe is beneficial in some way to help us meet our nutrition goals and so it would’ve been nice to know what each recipe benefit was and not just for one section. Also some of the variations just didn’t make sense. For example for the apricot smoothie, most of the variations omitted apricots which is odd since apricot is in the name. I found they did this for a lot of them.

That said it would’ve been nice to have a section at the end of the book with ideas on where you could find some of the ingredients as I have never heard of some of them and doubt I could pick that up at my local grocery store.

However, some of these recipes look really good and I’m excited to try them. If you like having all of your recipes at your fingertips it could be a good addition to your bookshelf, but as I said I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it.

Yummy! NOW if I can make myself get up and make them haha I tend to like the simple recipes - - can't beat strawberries and bananas but I will definitely try
some more of these as different fruits come into season.

"An introductory section covers equipment, techniques, and ingredients. It includes sumptuous full-colour photography. From the freshest, fruitiest blends and super-healthy detoxers to the smoothest, creamiest, most decadent shakes - juices and smoothies are incredibly versatile and stupendously varied"

Lots of easy-to-make smoothies, plus variations on how to add or subtract certain ingredients based on your tastes and mood.
