Prayers
The Prayers book is several things. It is a guide to salvation for those who have not been born again. It teaches relationship with the Lord, verses just being good or religious. It also teaches on what to expect as a Christian, how to pray, drawing near to God, and how you can and should grow as a Christian.
This is followed by prayers on many various topics which are written from the perspective that God is all powerful, that the scriptures are inerrant, and that the Word of God is alive and powerful. We believe that those who have faith in God and have been saved by the blood of Jesus can pray these prayers and expect to have what they have prayed for, whether it be forgiveness of sin, healing, deliverance from bondage, or any prayer that is in line with the truth of God’s word.
Thousands of people have testified to the blessings they have received from this book. To date we have mailed out over 2 million copies, have had 280,000 copies downloaded from the internet, and have had over 500,000 hits on our mobile download site.

This book takes you through multiple prayers that you can pray. It provides information about the prayers and assist you on focusing on giving God thanks, asking for forgiveness, praying for others and what our children need to pray. It's a great book to use with your biblical studies or if you don't know what you need to pray for and what to say.

I have used this prayer book for over 10 years I still give it away as Christmas gifts it has led me into a deeper prayer life and the ability to see how God does answer prayer in satanic places I have seen him do miracles

A friend of mine waved me down in a parking lot to give me this book, and that makes me smile. I didn't even recognize her, as covered as we were in our covid-19 masks. She and her husband had a box of these books they wanted to give away. I'd asked who the author was over our Sunday School Zoom, and instead of answering, she came to give me a copy when she "happened" to see me out and about. Actually, she'd been about to mail it to me when she saw me.
This is such a wild book that I hardly know how to review it. It has some powerful prayers in it, some good reminders of scripture, and praying for them, but it can also fall off into theological pitfalls from time to time. I love that the authors pray wholly-devoted-to-God prayers, that they jump in with both feet, so to speak. I feel like their hearts are right before God, and that they are right on so many things, and yet, and yet ... Well, I don't want to end up nitpicking this book, but usually I do end up rating a book more lowly that falls into the same misinterpretations of scripture. But I don't think the authors are aware of it. They are just praying wildly, and that makes me smile happily, even if they are perhaps a little uneducated as to the context of those scriptures. I would rate some of the book 5's and other parts of the book 2's, and although there's no good way to average it all, I'll give it a 3, because I can't give it a solid recommendation.
I love that they put the "Are You Sure?" section first, about being sure whether or not you are a Christian. It's of prime importance, and I like that they want others to know, rather than pretending that everyone who reads their prayer book knows that Jesus died for their sins. They started out describing it a little slowly and gently, but they did a very good, very thorough job of it.
I'll confess that I didn't read all these prayers. Not all of them pertain to me, or the situations we find ourselves in today. But it might be a good reference to have on hand for such occasions.
The "He has given me the power to make wealth" prayer sounds like the prosperity gospel, or the health and wealth gospel than Christianity. I think, in context, the passage means more that when we make wealth, we should recognize that God gave us that ability, not that we're always going to be making wealth. After all, Agur prayed "give me neither poverty nor riches, feed me with the food that is needful for me, lest I be full and deny you and say, 'Who is the LORD?' or lest I be poor and steal and profane the name of my God." Proverbs 30:8b-9
Similarly, I have problems with "Cancer, sugar diabetes, heart disease, sickness, afflictions, infections, or any other disease cannot enter my body." Believers do sometimes have these illnesses, no matter how earnestly they prayed. Even the Apostle Paul had his thorn in his flesh that God refused to remove. (2 Corinthians 12: 7-10)
"Thy will be done ... in the earth as it is in heaven." I'm not sure that the authors got this section right in saying this means we should be like we will be in heaven in that we are free of illness, poverty, and oppression here on earth. I've always taken it to me that we should obey God here like we will there. Or we should obey God here like others do there now.
The book also speaks about "new aspects about God," but I have to consider: "Do not add to His words, lest He rebuke you and you be found a liar." - Proverbs 30:6
I am not saying the authors are lying. I think they are too good-hearted for that, and I would give them the benefit of the doubt. But I am saying that we have to be very careful what we represent as coming from God.
The part about angels guiding us: I'd rather have God Almighty Himself guiding me.
Still, I loved these:
"Heavenly Father, I thank You that no weapon formed against me shall prosper."
"... Isaiah 54:13 that tells me my children shall be taught by the Lord and great shall be the peace of my children." Yes, please, Lord. "God, we know You are at work in our children's lives in ways we may never understand."
"We know You are good from everlasting to everlasting."
"I ask You to allow us to dwell in the secret place of the most High and to abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I thank You that You allow us to say that You are our Lord, our refuge, our fortress, and our God in Whom we can trust." Amen. That's about the third or fourth time that passage has come up recently for me.
"Heavenly Father, I would ask that You would destroy any evil that is coming against me, that You would encamp Your warring angels and chariots of fire all around me, according to 2 Kings 6:17-18.

10 of these book were sent to me by the owners years ago and I gave them away to help others. I would like to pass them out again and obtain one for myself to use the prayers as I go out to reach people in the streets shelter etc.
This is a very good book with different prayers in it and it gave me prayers for other people who are going through tough times

This was my 1st step into really praying hard to the Lord. I love it & am never without it. Not only that, there are also really good teachings in there.

September 1, 2015As a mature Christ-one who has raised the dead, healed the sick, taught the Word, cast out devils many times,and activated angels daily: I see one religious and non Biblical teaching from this great author. Example: We are to activate angels and not ask God to activate angels for us. It's our job.
It is written: Angels move at the Word of God. The Word of God that came out of God's mouth and now comes out through my/our mouth is the authority we are to use to send angels for our protection/assistance.
It is written: Heb 1:14 Angels, are they not ministering spirits sent forth to minister FOR those who shall be heirs of salvation? A BIG YES! Therefore, angels go forth to what I have prayed to day. Notice, it does not say: TO us but FOR us. Big difference.
God promised us in Matthew 18:18 'Whatsoever you shall bind on earth, shall be bound in heaven or God will agree with us' to be done as I claimed in Jesus' name. And,'whatsoever I loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven' since God agrees with what we bind or loose.
Luke 10:19 Behold or get a visual here, I give unto you power/authority to tread upon serpents and on scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you.'
We saints have the same authority today as Jesus had on earth 2,000 yrs ago. Amen!

This is a power prayer book! I am constantly reading it! I love it because it really touches on so many circumstances and situations. It also pulls you in to research your Bible as you read the prayers that you may know just what you are praying for! Very powerful! You can feel the anointing as you read the prayers!!! Highly recommended!

His prayers are beautiful. However his teachings are very narrow minded and not all of it is from the Bible, but rather his own opinions. He claims to have had a Spiritual Awakening at the age of 5, and his teachings don't fit with that of a spiritual awakened person. And he does not state that certain things are his opinions, he actually states that they are facts, and they are not. Myself and many other Christians, and pastors do not agree with these harsh teachings. God is a loving, forgiving being. And he says that you must go to God in this way, start your prayers saying this or that. There is no wrong way to pray. There is NO wrong way to speak to God. And he DOES listen to everybody. Even the sinners, despite's Mr. Broadbent's narrow minded opinions. God does not turn his back on his children, no matter what. Don't believe everything you read. Especially from Richard Broadbent III.
