I found the heroine annoying (in the extreme) and didn't see what was likeable about her to the other characters. The Hero was not alpha. Just cause a guy is really huge and carries a sword and has a bad temper, does not make him alpha.
Was an interesting read though and I did finish it.

Ms Duran did a good job with the plot and the dialog but I have to agree with some other reviewers that it had issues. This easily could have been a 4 star or higher book if it had been professionally edited.

Good book, interesting characters, and intriguing plot. I would have rated it much higher but the editing was worse then awful.

This book is awesome. It has all the requirements I like to have in a space romance. She had been captured on earth by an awful species that roams space looking for new galaxies to conquer. She was rescued by a friendly alien race and became the mate of the admiral. Great story line...kept me guessing a lot as Amada is no shrinking violet and has very opinionated views and lets everyone know what she thinks, no holes barred. Highly recommend.

Amada is so funny! I love how the book has three languages, English, Protectorate language and Spanish. The book takes you to another world and is full of sex, action, suspence and laughter! The second book on this series, Gigi, is also hilarious and very romantic! I love this new author and I cannot wait to see what she comes up with next!

Great, sexy and funny read. The first couple of chapters were confusing with so many different characters introduced in just a few pages but after the story unfolded and I thought it was brilliant. Loved the main characters and how feisty the heroine was.
