A sweet, colourful, helpful story for kids to learn what happens when they go to the doctor for a check-up. I was able to obtain this story for free on an Amazon special and read it to our four year old grandson yesterday. He seemed to enjoy it. It is entertaining and well-done. Unfortunately, this type of story just doesn't work as well in an ebook format and read from a tablet, but I think the hardcover edition would be delightful for children's bedtime stories, and it would be worthwhile to purchase it or obtain the hardcover from a library.
Currently, there are too many words in this one for me to read it straight to Natalie, but both Mike and I have our renditions of this one using the pictures. Natalie asks to hear this one often and she likes to point to the babies in the waiting room. It is really better for an older toddler or preschooler because the doctor visit includes things not yet down to a one year old (reflexes, blood pressure, standing on the scale).
