Darcy DiAngelo had two secret one in the public eye, courting the paparazzi and dancing the night away with gorgeous men all over the globe, the other hiding from her Mafia boss father who would try and marry her off to the highest bidder. Neither was the true Darcy and she longed to have the freedom to be herself. Billionaire businessman Sergei Anchova would not endure any insult to his family reputation. When his sister’s fiancée disappears claiming to be in love with the party girl Darcy DiAngelo, the issue must be resolved. Bringing the glamor girl to a private island while he searched for the missing fiancée was not only expedient, but perhaps he could teach the woman how to be a productive member of society during her stay. But Darcy taught Sergei the meaning of the words love and passion. She also showed him he shouldn’t believe everything he read in the tabloids and that the world really could be a bit less mercenary if he chose to look for the good in people.

Elizabeth lives in Virginia with her husband and two children. Their home is just outside of Washington, D.C., and many of her novels are set in this area.
Wish Darcy had had more oomph to her as a heroine, especially when it came to her responses to the man who had basically kidnapped her for a bit - billionaire businessman Sergei Anchova.
An ok re-read, this has been sitting gathering dust for a while on my kindle. Easy and light, not something that leaves a potent impression.
Darcy Di Angelo’s mob father has only one use for a daughter, an arranged marriage to some old mob guy as a favor for a favor. So, Darcy is outa there. She puts together a hardcore party-girl persona that no mafia guy would be happy with. In between night clubbing and parties, Darcy hides out with friends on her farm filled with animals. She’s like a pet whisperer. Sergei Anchova is a very successful businessman. Focusing on business is his jamb, listening to his winy spoiled sister Anya boohoo about her weak boring fiancée Nico leaving her for another woman just before the wedding is making Sergei very unhappy. However, Sergei does not like this insult to the “family” so he will find Nico… which turns out more difficult than he thought even with all his connections. The story Sergei’s been told is Nico is in love with party girl Darcy Di Angelo. Can’t find Nico so Sergei captures Darcy taking her with him to his secluded private island. I loved the whole island adventure. Spending time secluded on this beautiful island is wonderful for them both and Sergei learns that Darcy is not at all who she projects. She is a sweet shy innocent lady and with a little Lennox romance magic Sergei and Darcy fall deeply in love. This is a beautiful romance filled with a beautiful setting and lots of animals. Linda
This is the 3rd book in the series and it was ok. The h plays the role of a party girl, she is hiding from her mafia father. The H kidnaps her because his sister tells him her fiancé has canceled their wedding because he is love with the h. The plot was weak and didn’t come together. What happened to the H’s sister and her fiancé. The story just ended. No epilogue.
I have read Elizabeth Lennoxs' books but that one was kinda weak for me.The gal have great verbal responses, but behaved like dumb on most of time which made me confused. The hero was better described, behave as a traditional Italian than Russian businessman but its romance book.Overall i am kinda disappointed in the weak female lead.
Love this one the best. Darcy and Sergei chemistry is hot but they are miss conceived of the others true personality. They are perfect for the other if only they will let down their defenses to let the other in.
Great book and I am so glad her brother gets a story.
