So. This book has a lot of interesting facts about cats, but it is poorly proofread. I found one sentence that didn't even make sense. Also, the organization of this book makes no sense at all. I don't understand why the author split up sections on poisonous plants into 4 separate sections, along with the sections on famous cat owners. It's kind of like she just randomly threw all of these chapters together in a hodge podge.

This is one of those books that you can't really hate. A collection of bits and pieces, all about cats. Whether it's lists of cat names, advice on grooming, famous quotes or historical figures and their pets, there's lots of little fascinating things to read. All accompanied by the most amazing sketches and cartoons.

My favourite quote ...

"The difference between a cat and a dog. A dog thinks; 'They feed me, they shelter me, they love me, they must be gods.' A cat thinks; 'They feed me, they shelter me, they love me, I must be a god.'

Fun

Some interesting facts. Mostly a conglomerate of different things, no topic was deeply covered. Wish they had included the Art in the Cats in Art section but no. Still was fine for the sale price.

A really cute little cat book, filled with interesting tidbits. Some of the information wasn't new to me, but I enjoyed the refresher course in my favorite animal (shhh, don't tell my dogs I said that!)

There's a little something of everything, from historical figures who owned cats, to things that are poisonous to them. There's a few bits of humour that break the book up nicely, as well as a couple of illustrations. I bought this one at a store that sells unwanted copies of first hand books for cheap, and now I can add it to my cat collection with glee. Five stars!

A very funny, adorable little book that cat lovers will enjoy. I agree with some reviewers that it could've been better proofread or organized, but for a gift book you can't ask for much more than this gives you.
