Everything I'm learning about Men You Ping's past in this book is just... oof. He's had such a lonely and tragic life, always being used, always suffering.

Wu Xie sounds different here. Older and colder, except for all the times he misses having Men You Ping around.

I feel so impatient to have them reunite, but in the meantime, I love getting to delve into backstory!
