I have the box set of this series and season three was really episode eleven and twelve. However, it was action-packed, fast-paced and tense. My gripe throughout the series has been some poor grammar ('off of' rather than just 'off' or 'from', which spoiled the flow). Otherwise, some great storytelling.

This conclusion wrapped up the threads - I don't give spoilers.

Overall, this was an entertaining yet scary series because it highlighted the stupidity of politicians, the rich and scientists, those in power who cause all world problems. AI should not be created, but hubris and arrogance seem to control those greedy humans who always want more.

Recommended.

I started to think this was a book about Aliens when I started reading book 1 and nearly put it down. I am so glad I didn't. It's a different spin on the end of the world and kept me interested the whole time. I did have a hard time overcoming some of the egregious errors here and there, but I am starting to get used to that with the many SHTF books I have been reading.

Finally this series is over. This was a long drawn out series. It could have probably been handled in two books considering the small size of the third book. The story is very far fetched and the series does not really rely on the survivalist mentality. This story is more of a scifi scenario.
