RedBone 2:: Takeover at Platinum Lofts

Rate this book
Knox Baker has been missing for weeks. When his cell phone is discovered in Farah Cotton’s possession, his family wants to know how she obtained it. Always deceitful, Farah quickly devises a clever lie to buy time. The problem is that there is one living person who knows the truth—Eleanor McClendon.
Della Baker, Knox’s mother, senses that Farah is lying. To help discern her son’s whereabouts, she calls upon two deadly family members from Mississippi. They waste no time converging on Platinum Lofts with one mission in mind—to find their lost family member no matter who they must kill in the process.
Farah goes on a wild chase to find Eleanor before anyone else does. If she fails, it could mean the end of her relationship with Slade and possibly her life.
Easily distracted, Farah’s lust for murder and mayhem is heightened when she unexpectedly meets people just like her. She’s immediately sucked into their world when her thirst for blood is validated by newfound friends. Will Farah Cotton survive, or will her lies be the end of her?

T. Styles has done it again! She has penned another twisted tale that had this reader looking at her with the side eye and questioning what depths will her mind NOT travel to?

Farrah and the Cotton gang are back as well as the Baker Boys and their mother Della. The Baker Boys are on a search for their missing brother Knox and all fingers are pointing to Ms Farrah. Without giving away any spoilers, Farrah is up to her sneaky ways and has made some new friends :-). With so much evidence pointing at her, can Farrah still get her fix and clear her name???

Drama, mayhem, violence, and blood... all made this book an amazing read and had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. All of the characters were well blended. The plot??? Breath taking. I can't wait for part 3!!

I am so enjoying this wicked tale! Part 2 was just as mind-blowing as part 1. I love the way this story is being told. Mooney is the perfect storytelller & I'm just as captivated reading as Cutie is listening. Farah is an unforgettable character & her actions elevate her to one of the most devious characters ever! Storyline remains on point as new secrets are revealed...Now on to part 3 to see if anyone else will be made famous...

(SPOILER ALERT) I knew Willie said he hates his son but to actually kill him was beyond belief had to read the page twice just to clarify that he did smh. Another shocker was Nadia Gibson you would have never thought from part one that she was a dopehead that was fucking her boss who would also kill her boss as well farah got her good sorry to say. Farah thought she had gotten rid of her enemies but forgot one in particular Theo Cunningham the one whose been sending her the pictures all along . It makes me think if killing Rhonda was necessary seeing that she had nothing to with any of it. Another shocker is Mooney who through all these years has stayed alive but living off of what she learned in life to be only killed before the story was finished. If there's a part three and hopefully there is i can't wait for it i have so many questions that need to be answered. Come on T.Styles please don't disappoint your fans.

Redundant...redundant...redundant storyline. I'm not sure why the same info from Book 1 is needed to carry Book 2. We know the characters pretty well, so the story should have been moving forward. Strange move on the author T. Styles part.

Shaking My Head!!!
This author has me hooked. During my first encounter with Farah Cotton, I thought the author had lucked up and written a great story. Now I realize that this ain't luck it's pure talent. In this second installment, Farah is still on some crap with her deceit and manipulation. You get the feeling that she wants to change but self preservation gets in the way, time and time again. In a desperate attempt to keep some of her secrets buried forever, Farah creates more tension between her and the love of her life. My only question is will she ever learn? I certainly hope there's a part 3. I need to know!!

Not a bad read this book picked up where part 1 left off. Still all the same crazy stuff happening, but these people needs to put God first though. Kinda like the chase between the Baker boys along with Farrah trying to get hold of Eleanor.Slade was definitely in love and would do anything until he found out the true death of his brother. Was that a setup or did she really do it. Whose calling whose bluff Farrah or nerd boy lol. Well I guess part 3 will tell. :-)

I liked this book more than the 1st. To me, the 1st book was overly drawn out and this one was more to the point. Finally, there is more action and you begin to see the consequences of Farah's actions take place. We also see more of the relationship between her and Slade. At the end, a character that I completely forgot about from the 1st book comes back and puts a dent in Farah's new found innocence. There will definitely be a 3rd book. If not, I will be very disappointed.

I've never just put off any and everything to finish a book since the Harry Potter installment lol. This was truly a great on the edge of my seat read! Just when Farrah thought everything was coming together her world came to screeching halt.

To be honest during the time spent reading the 2nd book I wondered if the mysterious picture sender was Theo all along. Damn I'm good! LOL. But you T. Styles are great. Can't wait to read the 3rd installment.

I love this book. It was full of action just like the first part. Farah was something else. Her family was off there rockers. I felt bad for Slade because her really loved her. I can't wait to see what happens in part 3. The ending was crazy leaving you wanting more. I'm read Twisted Momma bring it on.

I think that there is more to the story it certainly has its twists and turns. It was great I loved it I do want to know what happened to Farrah for real I know the story eludes to it but I need closure did she become an urban myth and why did she take off Mooney's hand? So many unanswered questions and what was behind Mooney being killed after all this time?

Cliffhanger

The cliffhanger to this part of the story left me speechless. Great read can't wait to see whether Farah gets her just desserts and what happens to Cutie as she tries to get the rest of Farah's and Mooney's story.
