I finished this book feeling
The beginning was
Holly Blackstone did a great job with the introduction. She knows how to grab her reader’s attention.
But that other stuff
This became a total smut fest. There’s nothing here, but written porn. It became overwhelming.
It was sex scene after sex scene. I have no idea what the story was about...other than sex. I couldn’t engage or connect with the characters. I was bored, even the sex scenes became boring
Guess what...this is a 5 part series. I’m going to dropkick my OCD if it even attempts to continue with this series

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for my honest opinion.
First off I want to say thank you for the card. It added a nice personal touch that you don't see nowadays :).
As for the book, I LOVED it. This was a great fast read that I pretty much plowed through. It was like an adult romantic fairy tale. I mean c'mon, who wouldn't want a love story like this? I loved the characters personalities and how Lily was the shy reserved one and Stuart was the domineering confident guy. This book was definitely not like other romances I've read as in it wasn't boring and cliche the way they meant. I loved how they met because she saved his life and had no idea who he was.
Great great book that I will dor sure pass onto my girlfriends. I know they'll love it as much as I did. Thank you for the opportunity to read your book and I can't wait to read more!

Oh I so loved this book Stuart is so intense and the seduction in the book is electric. The slow intense seduction made my skin crawl in anticipation. In fact, I was exhausted by the time the deed was done. Things are all peachy at the moment but will the relationship between Liiana and Stuart stand the test of time?

I read the Series more than 2 months ago and I just can say that I never thought after so many different books I read ,there is anything really surprising left in this genre.
But then, there was a man who just came around to destroy these prejudices, called Stuart about whom I was really exited to meet.
At first(I know other readers alo mentioned it before), it was a little bit more difficult to get into the story but during the course of action it was even better to read a book written like this one(which doesn't mean that it was kind of exotic-it was just a little bit different).
Something a friend told me about Lily is that she really likes the strong and different way how she tries to resist . After reading, I need to underline her statement with a big red ! .
I could mention lots of more different aspects, but I am sure the people who have read this books(and in addition still like them)know what I'm talking about. And I am also sure that al lot of people who haven't read them yet will find it out when they are (hopefully) going to read it.

This is my second time of reading this first book in the Liliana Batchelor series. Now that the fifth and final has been released I decided to start from the beginning to refresh my memory. I love the characters of Lily and Stuart, you can feel the attraction between them coming off the pages, especially Stuart, he's very alpha and very intense. I am looking forward to reading the other 3 books again before finally getting to read the finale!

It took forever to find a book last night on my kindle. To find that perfect Alpha male character. Stuart is the one. I love how the characters meet and it is a slow and gradual coming together! I am so glad I stumbled on this gem and can't wait to read the rest of the series!

The H was so amazingly possessive, jealous, and protective. The H and h were great together. My only gripe was that the description of the H's beard (van dyke) was really unattractive. I had a hard time focusing on his hotness during the sex scenes with that hideous beard in my mind. Plus, the descriptions of the food was gross. I don't remember which country they were in. Anyway, this was a hot story with an alpha male H who is determined to have the h.

There was something off about the narrative of this novel. The tense was odd but I can't say why, it just read awkwardly. Lily was a wet blanket and I couldn't stand her internal musings. Blah blah blah says her inner voice sarcastically. Blah blah blah her inner voice sneers. Her inner voice had more emotion than she ever showed.
Kelly finds that she does not like this novel. Her inner voice challenges her to stop reading. She does gladly.

After so many people seem to love this short read, it's a shame that I didn't. Unfortunately, I barely remember anything about the story as the plot is very simple and revolves around the romance between Liliana and Stuart, who must have incredibly high sex drives. I didn't think that the two of them had any chemistry, and I found myself skimming throughout the second half of the story as the content was focused more on their relationship, as opposed to any internal or external conflict. The scenes were repetitive, and after finishing the story I can barely remember anything that actually happened.
I'm glad so many other readers liked it, but unfortunately this one wasn't for me.

I didn't want it to end!
Such beautiful love story. I see so many possibilities for Stuart and Lily's story, and I'm wonderfully glad it continues.
Ms Blackstone is a skilled writer who pays attention to detail. One, she wrote in third person. I had almost forgotten that was an
option, nowadays with so many authors using the easier first person point of view. I found it refreshing. Second, descriptions of place, object, person and act were fully explicit. I felt myself right there in several of the love scenes and would have been embarrassed if others had been around. Thank goodness I was alone!
I highly recommend this book and this author and plan to read more of hers. As in this series of books, she is giving us complete stories in several 100-page books, and not just the ubiquitous 100 or less page books we are cheated with by other authors. Thank you, Ms. Blackstone, for not only being a wonderful writer, but also one who sells a book at a price worthy of its cost!

Liliana Batchelor is a smart, independent woman. She’s admiring a really expensive car when the unimaginable happens. She pushes all of her fears aside and saves a man’s life. She is suddenly in the spotlight and doesn’t like one bit of the attention. The man summons her to his hospital bed to meet her and properly thank her but he loves what he sees. He pursues her but she remains closed off to him. He lays out his intentions but she is fearful. Liliana goes to Scotland for a conference and a vacation. She comes to find out that he is there too and things progress from there.
Liliana and Stuart have an explosive relationship. She is strong and independent. He is the president of a huge corporation and extremely wealthy. He is also a major alpha male and wants complete control and a submissive woman. Liliana fights that. Their relationship grows and their need for each grows as well. They spend a lot of time together and learn about each other, the good and the bad.
This book sucks you in from page one. It is a sweet yet a very hot read. Liliana and Stuart have an unmeasurable amount of lust for each other. They want so much from each other but neither one is willing to give it. These characters are intense and the author makes sure you are completely enthralled in the story. A great read. I would recommend this book!

A Pleasant surprise
I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this book as I read the synopsis. But it turned out to be an excellent story. It is a Cinderella story with passion and true emotion. Don't let the mention of bondage and dominance steer you away. It isn't about that and it is how Lily learns to trust and Stuart gains trust. I was a bit worried because I have never read a book with this warning. But there is no need for the warning. The story has a leading man who wants to give everything to a woman he loves. And a woman who is afraid to open up and be loved.

Loved this book liliana and Stuart are made for each other best book i have read in along time i loved how romantic stuart was and how u showed the chemistry they had. I cant wait to read more of hollys books hope they are just as great

I'm no prude but this is absolute smut. It's beginning was exciting and I enjoyed it for a short time, but when it moved into bondage and went downhill from there....

Interesting
I’ll confess that the cover design and title made me curious about this book. In the end I was a little disappointed in the story. It was interesting in some moments and typical at others. There are a lot of reasons to give this book a try. It may be perfect for you! It was disappointing for me though.

Amaaazinnggggly hotttt
Loved it from beginning to end. Sweet enough that you wanted label the book as raunchy but the scenes were HOT! Whew. Sorry it wasn't 1 novel but will definitely be searching for the other titles to purchase

Oh dear, he was so alpha male it was ridiculous and in the end the sex scenes became boring as it was pretty much the same thing over and over again. And why was she such a simpering miss?
