Brandon couldn’t believe his luck when his mate stumbled onto his Island. After hearing how her family was killed by a rouge wolf, Brandon sets out to show Maggie that not all wolves are as terrifying as she thinks.
Can his love for Maggie survive her betrayal and lies or will he decide that no matter how much his wolf wants its mate his family must come first?

Clare Atling is a massive fan of all things paranormal and she loves to read anything from ghost stories to vampire romance. After spending years and years reading she turned her hand to writing them.
She lives in her small home town in England and when she is not running around with her two small children she will sit and lose herself in her writing. Clare loves to hear from her fans and can be reached on Facebook at the link below.
This is a four-in-one book review of Clare Atling’s Penn Lake Wolves novella series. Come meet the Penn Lake Wolves and get my yays, nays, thumbs ups, flipped birds and mmmm… mmmms about these stories. Someone package me a shifter like Colt for my birthday next month. I like the ambiguously moral ones the best.
I like this series. Me. Talking is a good storyteller. The romance scenes on the other hand, are very stilted and the love talk is awful. Good thinking the story makes up for that big flaw.
This book was pretty annoying for me. The heroine was so week. And why do the men get to be such assholes and the women take them back with barely a “sorry”?
It is nice to see the return of our friends. Truth and trust were the hot issues here and except for a few dead wolves life goes on. Oh and sex...tippers it was good.
