Looking for some sexy shifters and hot southern nights? This might be the series for you.
This is a collection of the first three books in the Lilith Mercury, Werewolf Hunter series. This series focuses on the life of Lilith Mercury, a werewolf Hunter who is also half werewolf. Did I mention there are several sexy men in her life? This story has graphic violence, and graphic sex. It also has a new take on the origins of werewolves and vampires. There are many ups and downs in Lilith's life and much more to come.
This series gets hotter as it goes. No werewolves were harmed in the making of this series. This set includes: 1. Red 2. Object of My Affection 3. The Dread Moon
Red This is Book One in the Lilith Mercury Series. Dr. Alfred Moody saved her life, but the werewolf, Marco may hold the key to her heart. She's torn between the man who saved her humanity and the one who makes her want to embrace the beast.
NOTE: This series gets hotter as it goes. However, Book One is NOT erotic. Someday Lilith will have a happy ending, but this is only the beginning.
WARNING: This book contains graphic language and graphic violence.
Object of My Affection
This is book two in the Lilith Mercury, Werewolf Hunter Series. There was a time when the battle lines were clearly drawn and there would've been no question, no doubts, but that time has passed. Though Lilith is still drawn to the wolfman, Marco, she cannot deny what she feels for her partner, Alfred. She remains torn between a man who was once her enemy and one who is becoming much more than her friend.
WARNING: This book contains graphic language, graphic violence, and graphic sex. No werewolves were harmed in the making of this book.
The Dread Moon
This is Book Three in the Lilith Mercury Series. Lilith's reputation as the best in the business has spread, and not just to the lycanthrope population. She's been hired to find the original vampire. The vamps want what everyone else wants, equality. However, she will soon realize that the original vampire isn't simply out for blood, or the return of rights to his people ... he wants Lilith too.
Warning: This book contains graphic violence, graphic language, and sex with BDSM elements including autoerotic asphyxiation.
I write what I enjoy in the hopes that others will enjoy it as well. I've always been drawn to the macabre. Vampires, werewolves, you name it.
I've never written about the paranormal because it's popular. I do it because that's what I'm interested in. If the vampire fad ever passes, I'll still be sitting here in my Dracula cape, getting my fang on.
Red - It really took me a while to get lost in this story. I'm not sure if it was just me or if it was because I found the female MC rather hard to like.
Lilith, yes, she kicks a bit of ass & has survived a horrendous werewolf attack that left her feeling like she is living between two worlds. For me she came across as someone filled with self delusion and not being honest with herself about her feelings especially about the men in her life.
Speaking of men - this one had loads of candidates for Lilith to chose from. First there's Alfred - her living companion and scientist. I know Lilith says she has a thing for older men but for the life of me I couldn't see their relationship the way she did. Through out most of the book she proclaims to "love" him - but it was a bit hard to see that since he was away on a mission with her father for at least half the story.
Object of My Affection - I liked this 2nd installment better than the 1st.
Lilith- was a bit more like able in this one. Found her responses and reaction to the events of this story made her seem a bit more human (of course I know she’s technically not wholly human).
I however still have major issues with the relationship with Alfred (first off I’m having trouble seeing him as any one other than the butler to Batman - so ewww on the sex scenes - but that’s probably a personal issue)
What has saved this and the past book for me has been Marco and I really didn’t get much of my Marco fix until the end of the story. Still love him and think he’s a much better fit for Lilith- no matter what the character keeps say and no matter how har the author tries to convince me that Lilith is “in love” with Alfred - just not buying it.
In thee action category felt like there was a bit more action and got to see Lilith kick more female werewolf butt!
The Dread Moon - Well, this is the third installment of this series and finally Lilith quit deny and lying to herself about her feeling for Marco! (Yay! I think I finally did a happy dance)
However, I’m still NOT fond of her she gives me whiplash with her musings and attraction to all the Hot men in her life - I get that she is a complex person with loads of contradictions. However, this random Randiness does nothin to endear her to me.
But Marco is who keeps pulling me back into this series - I’m so ready for some sexy times with him!
I will be continuing this series - just really want to see some maturity and personality growth form Lilith.
My interest is definitely captured and I want to read the rest. I think one could pick up any of the books and be satisfied, but you would miss out on a lot of what makes her the person she is, as well as the rest of the characters. Fans of Laurel Hamilton will find a superficial resemblance, ie a hunter named death, attracted to various supernatural beings, but the work stands on its own. There were a few times where I was thinking that she needed to get some expert advice instead of jumping in. There is no HEA so far, everything is still developing.
The MFC is likeable and I enjoyed most of the side characters. However, I expect more werewolf hunting as implied. There was good world building except it seemed to change as if the author needed to add more story. I was disappointed as it read more of a day to day life rather then a progressive story. I won't be reading further or more from this author.
now i am hooked. This was such a great, easy and creative book. i was hooked after the first page.
The characters were easy to fall in love with and follow, along with the story. the author made the mental visions so easy and vivid of the surroundings and the characters actions felt so real.
i would highly recommend this author and this book.
It had so much more potential which is why I persevered after the first part. I read 70% of the box set. But the main character just flitted from man to man, whining that she couldn't choose and wasn't getting involved whilst kissing, going on dates and moving in with several characters.
Her new wizard unveiling amounted to nothing. Her job as a Hunter was the quietest ever. Months passed and not once was a job referenced to so one can only assume that it was a job just for the paycheck.
So in summary, it had hardly any hunting or action scenes, tons of lamenting about her unattractiveness. Every male character was handsome except one 'baddy' whom met his death soon after. Chapters passed and nothing happened to further the story or deepen the plot. And every sexy man lusted after Lilith. The end.

This was the first I've read by Tracey H. Kitts, and I have to say, I will be reading more by this author. Lilith Mercury, is a complex scarred, woman confused about the men in her life. As a werewolf hunter, her attraction to the local pack alpha is political suicide, but people can't help who they love. Alfred, her live in hunting partner, complicates Lilith's already tenuous relationship trust issues. All three books were well written with identifiable characters that was hard to put down. Phenomenal read for paranormal fans, older teens through adult.
Ms Kitts seems to draw heavily on Laurel K Hamilton for inspiration. While this is not a bad thing Kitts universe is confusing, unexplored and at times pointless. There seems to be no other plot than the characters sexual exploits. Kitts protagonist has a job but never seems to work. Most characters in the storyline are from another planet with special skills and talents but they also don't appear to have outside lives. So why three stars if I feel this way? Because the idea is not bad. It's the execution that needs to step up.
The first book was a bit slow because it was more of the history but as you continue reading the other books I really enjoyed it. I laughed a few times with Kat and Luther they are comical. The characters are likeable and love "Dracula." They main character "red" character complained she just wants someone to love her and she gets what she asks for..she is loved by every man who comes in contact with her. The best book was book 3...couldn't put it down...hope you enjoy
I gave this review three stars because I am a sucker for tough female leads. Girl Power all the way, but I will say around the 2nd and 3rd book I began to get annoyed with the lead character. She was making some of the dumbest decisions and I ended up not caring how the series ended. Started out as a great read and kind of went downhill. Great potential, it just fell flat with the path that the story took.
This series was an amazing ride. Action, adventure, top notch banter laced with smart ass sass and sarcasm, as well as the steamy love scenes make it an addictive series. Beyond all of that, the author really hit me in my feelings. Lilith's distrust of seemingly everyone, her need for true, unconditional love and the struggle to balance those issues really hit home for me.
I enjoy reading this series, there are so many things that happen and once I was started I couldn't stop. I am also happy that it is a little different to what I usually read.
A real monster packed in a naive innocent child. Loving all the wrong men and giving her all. A seducer with no knowledge of what she truly is. To fight for the rights of innocent people, victims, and the monster too. A tale told so well!!!!!
I read the first three books straight through. It took 4 days but couldn't stop. Now I have another author to add to my favorites. Now, on to book 4. Love you Tracey H. Kitts.
