Not a bad romance but there are three things I didn’t like
1) that the author made it seem like Tucker could not have been a father without Grace

2) that Tucker changed his mind about having biological children. There is nothing wrong with that but it is not consistent with what he was at the beginning and it makes it seem like everybody MUST want biological children

3) On a minor note, the fact that Grace inherits her father’s firm and at the end of all that only works (not even) part-time is a bit insulting for hard working individuals.

Even though I like HEA, these neatly wrapped endings are a bit lazy in my opinion, because I don’t think the H depends on getting all your heart’s desires. That’s not life.

Great story. Possibilities for a longer length novel since some of the scenes seemed rushed. Good character development. Great read.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL STORY .I do love Tuck, Grace and Brody love story. it was for me, more than simply romance as it dealt with important issues to me, as child abuse, adoption and giving teen and kids really second chance. I also loved that she maintained working in her firm and that Tuck stood to her and helped her. I just loved Brody's story and how the little todler began to open; it was very well described and realistic. A story with depth. I really enjoyed and lived it

– Adopted Son is the final book in Linda Warren’s McLain series. With complex, likable characters and a well-researched plot, this book is an excellent ending to a wonderful series. ~ Ana, www.ireadromance.com
