WILL HAVE SPOILERS SO READER BE WARNED
This is the second book by Solease Barner. It seems her stories are getting better and hotter by each book. I think Showken is my newest book boyfriend 'Sorry Draken."
Omg I think I would totally get along with Marilyn. She and I are alike. Of course I didn't go through the abuse like she has. But out attitudes are just a like. She tries to push away Showken so hard. But fails. I love how she loves her dog Bruiser cause I love my Max just as much. I don't think I would have left him behind either. I also love the fact she has a best friend named Jasmine who has a daughter names Angel. I have a friend just like her. Oh I definitely will not look at a cupcake the same way again. I'd think I would do a lot of blushing before I begin to eat one then wonder where they hell is my Showken. But I will admit Marilyn pissed me off when she left Showken. She was lucky she agreed to be with him. I was even happy that Jazz and Angel were able to move to the castle also. I do see her finding her own dragon now.
Showken what can I saw about this sexy ass dragon. Hot damn I want a cup cake all over me and have him lick it up. I loved that he seemed like a player but once he laid his eyes on Marilyn he found is Wella. I liked how he never backed down and never let her go even though she wanted to leave his home and made me cry to see how hurt Showken was. I loved how he excepted Bruiser, Jazz, and Angel into his life for Marilyn. I was thrilled that he accepted her past. Some men wouldn't want to deal with so much packages. Because of Showken I think my new favorite color is green.
If you haven't read this book yet but have read Draken. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? CHRISTMAS? get on it now. But if you haven't read either Draken or Showken you have no idea what you are missing. Pick up both copies and enjoy.

This is book two of the series. The only reason I liked book one better is because I am partial to purple. Mari has had a rough life and feels unloved and unworthy of it. Showken is a dragon shifter who is a womanizer. When Mari is not impressed with him and brushes him off, he is determined to bed her and drop her. Things don't go according to either's plans. I will never look at cupcakes the same! Great story, HOT scenes! Let's get book 3 done!!!

I really enjoyed the story Showken at times he
did remind me of a stalker haha Mari has had a rough
life , she felt that she was useless , and nobody loved
her until Showken can to her and showed her what is

Showken, oh, Showken!!! What a deserving book to follow Draken's phenomenal start. I enjoyed this book so much that I somehow missed out on the release party for Showken. I just had to finish reading Showken's & Marilyn's story. I am loving the Draglen brothers so much that I can't wait for Layern's story to be released!

This is Book 2 in The Draglen Brother Series. I absolutely loved this story I waited impatiently for it to be released and once it was I was NOT disappointed Marylin is a kick ass Female lead and I think She would be awesome to hang out with, Her Best Friend Jasmine was such a fun character to read about and their interactions in the story had me laughing out loud. Showken is your typical Sexy Alpha Male Playboy until he meets Marylin then it's Game Over. The chemistry between Showken and Marylin is so hot I thought my kindle might Combust. Marylin has such a horrific and abusive past that it takes A lot of work and love on Showken's part to get her to come around. Oh boy the things that man does with a Cupcake WOW I will never look at them the Same again. This was a great story of Love strength and over coming your past but it was also a light, Sexy, Erotic Laugh out loud Kind of read!

I enjoyed reading “ShowKen”, in fact I was waiting impatiently for the release after having read the first in the series, “The Draglen Brothers”. I love the whole idea of dragons walking among us without knowing. Marilynn, the main female lead was one of a kind. However it was the chemistry between Marilynn and Showken that truly was amazing. I enjoyed how dancing was included. Of course for me I would love a little more dancing, but that is me. I will be recommending this book and Draken from Author Solease M Barner . I am once again waiting impatiently for the next in the series. To be honest I think that the author is only getting better with each book. All I can say is yummy!!

Loved this book. I don't read paranormal....as the normal, but the author convinced me to try the 1st in the series, Draken. I loved it and love this one just as much. It is a fun read, but has underlying messages of self-esteem, friendship, love, romance and acceptance and some hot ass sex!! If you do not like sex, this is not the book for you, but DAMN is all I can say!!'
This book also had cupcakes.....yes, that's right I said cupcakes. Grab the book, read and understand the usage of cupcakes!

I loved this book Marilyn is a your average women trying to make a living when out of nowhere this hot man continues to pester her into his life an bed to say that Showken is your average man is well not the case he is a dragon shifter and he will have Marilyn at any cost he won't give up on having her. Marilyn is a damaged soul who didn't feel worthy of love. Will Showken get the girl? Will Marilyn get over her haunted past and see the man dragon before her? Will they get their happy ending? To find out I strongly suggest buying and reading this book. 5 gold stars.

How can you not love Showken? He is the ultimate playboy until he sees Marilyn and then he sets out to make her his. She had bad things happen in her past she has to deal with plus her best friend Jasmine and her daughter Angel that she won't leave behind.
Marilyn is a strong, independent woman, but who could really ever resist a persistent dragon and his cupcakes. :) Not to mention he doesn't ignore her love for her dog Bruiser.
This is an awesome book and I can't wait to read the Layern's book!!

Ah, another fantastic book! We get to meet another brother, Showken and follow him as he convinces Marilyn that she is his. She is tough, outspoken and stubborn and I loved her! She doesn't take any crap from anybody and speaks her mind. We find out a little more of the remaining brothers and I cannot wait for Layern's story. There's a little tease of Layern at the end of this book. Thanks Solease for another hot, sexy brother! :)

Showken is much better than Draken! The writing is more developed as well as the characters. Mari is just your average girl just trying to make a living and is also trying to escape her past. Showken is a playboy and a dragon shifter. I will not say any more for fear of giving away spoilers. I am looking forward to reading Layern. Especially if the writing and character development continues to grow.

Awesome book..I am anxiously awaiting the next in the series. It was touch and go there for a while for Showken and I cried when Marilyn went back home. Was happy she finally decided to be his Wella. :)

Oh my! Showken is awesome. I loved Draken because he was very alpha but Showken is more of a romantic and the cupcakes you've got to read about the cupcakes. It's a miracle she didn't go into a sugar coma ;). Can't wait to read Layern

Draglen Brothers book 2, Showken
I am loving these Draglen Brothers! Showken has the biggest ego so far, he is really drawn to Mari but she seems to detest him.
This book was a lot of fun with the banter between Showken and Mari and her dog who seems to love Showlen too.
I dare not say too much here, I wouldn't want to spoil anything for those who haven't read it yet but I am very happy with how this all worked out for Mari, Showken and all the others.
I am off to get the next Draglen Brothers books that I haven't read yet, they are that good.

I can't believe I paid for this
I read 3 pages and quit. I couldn't decide if the author's first language was space alien or if the author was just that bad at writing. Life is too short to read badly written anything. And the 'poem' at the beginning? Let's just say this author needs to stop. Just stop.

Tried to give this series a second try. The writing is very awkward and stilted. I just could not pick up another one. The males are very wooden and you only learn about them by what they say. Again the dialogue is OMG awful. If there was a negative star this would have it.

Nice read with a Dragon Shifter. Quirky and strong characters. Interesting worlds and quite sexy and romantic. Look forward to reading more about the Draglen Brothers!

Reluctant To Love! Showken is now in charge of the family business and isn't sure he wants the responsibility. He and his brothers decide to have a night out dancing, drinking and picking up human women. At the bar Showken takes one look at Marilyn and decides to makes her his. Marilyn has had a very difficult life, doesn't trust anyone and has no intention of being involved with any man. Even though she has made her feelings on going out with Showken very clear, he has no intention of taking her rejection seriously. He finally talks Marilyn into lunch and she turns down his offer of being just friends. When he shows up at her door and invites himself to dinner, Marilyn has lost her battle. After dinner Marilyn ends up naked and has an interesting lesson on alternative ways to eat cupcakes. While Marilyn continues to fight against a relationship with Showken, he has fallen in love with the spunky young woman. After meeting Showken's very scary mother, Marilyn is sure that they will never be able to be together. Even though she has realized that she is in love with, her past makes her sure that she is not good enough to be the mate of a prince. I loved this book! Lot's of emotional ups and downs for both of the main characters. Love can overcome self doubt and many other obstacles.

Plot line--for the entire series as far as I can tell. Warning! Contain spoilers.
1. Big bad dragon shifter can take any female he wants without consequences while said females can NEVER take another lover...just because.
2. Big bad dragon shifter slums it on Earth because human women can be fun and instead meets his soul mate.
3. Denial ensues. He can't take a lowly human for a wife! What would the family think?! She feels unworthy of his ethereal good looks and porn star bedroom skills.
4. Dragon turns psycho stalker who:
a. Beats up any male who physically touches the human female
b. Kidnaps human female to show his undying devotion
c. becomes a controlling a**hole
d. All of the above
5. Reader wonders if she has wandered into a Lifetime movie of the week and starts looking for the ruggedly handsome "rescuer."
6. Reader realizes that all is okay because...although the alpha dragon man acts like someone who should have a restraining order placed against him, human female is actually flattered by the behavior and falls madly in love (lust?) with aforementioned dragon shifter.
The end (FYI-I read book 2 in a book set then read book 1 to see how things started).

I loved his book. Showken is funny, charming, loving and so Hot! He is determined he would not fall in love with a women for the next hundred years in the first Draglen Brothers novel. He enjoys women to much to just have one and not for more than one night. He does not ever see himself being like his brother Draken.
He comes back to Earth to run the family business with his brothers and they decide to go out and party at a local bar. Once there he takes a look at one of the waitress named Marilyn he decides she will be his for a night. That is when the story gets good. He has a fight on his hands trying to convince Marilyn to go out with him. The story is charming, funny, and hot if you give it a read I am sure you will love it just like I do. Oh and Showken has a love of cupcakes and an interesting way of eating his deserts. The twist and turns in this book are funny, heart wrenching and wonderful.

Great balls of Fire! I loved it! Showmen is the second book of Solease Barner's amazing hit series, The Draglen Brothers. Barner has once again dazzled her readers with her amazing talent, incredible imagination and unique style! And oh my god! Each new book is better than the last! If you love dragons, you will love, love, love this book! Exciting! Compelling! Enticing! Original! Captivating! Addictive! Romantic! Arousing! Sensual! And Hot! Hot! Hot! The characters are imaginative, fascinating, intriguing, sassy and sexy as sin! Oh my! So swoon worthy! The dialog is smart, witty, snappy and very well written! And the interaction between characters is at times, down right hilarious! A perfect combination of adventure, comedy and romance - dragon style! Sexy dragons-check! Super hot and duper sassy human female-check! Romance, angst and steamy sex-check! Yeah baby! I can hardly wait to read Book Three!

This is the second book in this series and I have to say that I truly enjoyed it. When I began this series, I wasn't too sure of the dialogue, but have come to the conclusion that the writing is the author's way of giving the characters a foreign accent of sorts. The more I read, the more I love this series. Solease has an extremely vivid imagination as portrayed in her writing style. It is wonderful to be able to envision what she sees simply from reading her words. A true gift indeed. Truly love these characters and am looking forward to reading the next one. With a total of 9 brothers and one sister, there is so much potential for numerous future books. I think we could even expand on this if we were to include D from book one, and Jazz from this one. Loving this series so far.

This story is HAWT. I'm talking bust out the church fan and grab a glass of ice water kinda HAWT! Author Solease Barner doesn't write them any other way.
I found the MC, Marilyn, relatable. She had a hard life growing up, is ashamed of what she had to do to survive, and thinks that makes her unworthy of love. Enter sexy dragon shifter, Showken, who is only acquainted with a one stands and has no desire to find a mate/wella. These two are a force to be reckoned with and they don't take it easy on each other. It's an explosive tale of love and lust.
The Narrators -
This is a hot romance with lots of passionate, loud sex. The two narrators did nothing to convey this. NOTHING. The oohs and ahs were just that; an oh and ah. Seriously? I wasn't expecting them to act out a porno but there could have been a bit more feeling behind it.
