Thin on details

Also outdated. Predates the likes of inverters with built in chargers. Needs more meat and be updated with advances in inverter, PV and battery technology.

VERY informative A must have book for the DIY er

Starts (thankfully!) at a beginner's level, & has all the electric formulas, wire gauge& it's significance in D.C. applications.A very handy, necessary book when setting up a D.C,solar, & /or inverters as I am . I found it extremely valuable, packed full of information you will refer to frequently.

Simply put

The basics of a solar power system is simply put, in layman's terms and easy to understand. Some of the illustrations are small and difficult to see.
