The fragile line between life and death… Families that will never be the same…
When a tragic hit-and-run takes the life of a hardworking family man, multi-millionaire Christopher Hillington becomes the prime suspect, and the whole city of New York alights with speculation as to what happened. But before the NYPD can establish Hillington’s guilt, he himself is brutally murdered in his own home. As he lays dying, he scrawls the name Casey Woods with his own blood, and the Forensic Instincts team is drawn into a complex mystery that has placed its president in the sights of a desperate killer.
A millionaire’s life is full of secrets and suspects. So as the baffled NYPD investigates Casey for the murder, and the body-count ratchets up, Casey herself becomes another potential victim. The FI team’s hardcore investigation has them twisting and turning through suspects and secrets, where the stakes intensify―and so does the collateral damage. As Casey and the team get closer to finding the killer, the unthinkable happens, and the life of one of FI’s own hangs in the blood-stained balance.
They say dead men tell no tales, but blood doesn’t lie. Peeling back layer after layer of deception, the team will cross whatever lines are necessary to solve the case, get justice for the families, and make their team whole again…unless the relentless killer gets to them first.

STRUCK DEAD (A Forensic Instincts Mystery Book #10) by Andrea Kane is another suspenseful mystery story featuring the brilliant team from Forensic Instincts. While each book in the series has a unique crime/mystery to solve that can be read as a complete standalone crime plot, each book also continues to further develop the main characters’ personal lives over time, and I personally enjoy reading them in order.
A multi-millionaire, Christopher Hillington is the prime suspect in a hit-skip that kills a man. All of New York is speculating about his guilt or innocence when Casey Woods gets a call from his lawyer to come immediately to the Hillington home. Casey is shown the bludgeoned body of Hillington and on the desk written in his blood is “Casey Woods”.
With a multitude of suspects and secrets, but few leads, Forensic Instincts is working to unravel all the threads of this case. The stakes increase when Casey is threatened. The team is fighting to uncover layer upon layer of deceit as the killer gets to one of the team first.
I always enjoy revisiting the team at Forensic Instincts and this addition to the series is one of my favorites. The mystery plot is intricately woven between two crimes and three families. I liked that the two crimes kept me guessing and were solved at different times in the book. The most intense part of the book for me was when I might lose one of the main characters. The plot is fast paced with the investigations, and it is not predictable. The twist at the end should bring an entertaining new dynamic to the team that I am looking forward to reading.
I highly recommend this addition to the Forensic Instincts series.
What a book! I really enjoyed the mystery of STRUCK DEAD. The many threads of this case were intriguing and I loved the realistic process of how the many threads were detangled and then woven into or discarded from the case. There were quite a lot of characters in this book, but they each had such distinct personalities that I didn’t have any trouble remembering who they were or their significance. Plus, I especially enjoy how real-life moments are included for each of the team members so they become more realistic and we can celebrate or hurt with them as they try to focus on their job.
I admit that I’ve only read a couple of books in this series. And those weren’t in any order. I kept meaning to go back and start at the beginning and read my way through to this one, the 10th in the series. That didn’t happen. Still, I’m fascinated by the idea of this series. A PI team made up of the best of the best in their areas of expertise. A tight investigative team as much family as coworkers. Also, each book can stand alone but I saw how the character’s lives had changed and relationships were formed. It made me more curious to read how each of their stories began. I’m a fan of character growth.
There’s two crimes to solve, and so many clues to unravel. The author’s talent in making it complex and not easily seen was impressive. I was fascinated by even the little things that came up, wondering how important they would be in solving the crimes.
A strong beginning, suspenseful and twisting road in the middle, and a nice curve ball at the satisfying conclusion. Now, I’m planning that leap back to the beginning so I can get to know the characters as they are introduced. I’m sure each book will bring that character growth I love along with new characters and some complex cases. Can’t wait!
I received a complimentary copy. My review is voluntarily given.
I read #9 of this series of 10 Forensics Instincts series before reading this one. This is book #10 and all books I believe can be read as standalone as these two were! The author does a fantastic job creating multi/ layered crime plots. This book proves no different. I found the book to be very engaging, interest keeping and suspenseful. Many mind games in the plot kept me on the edge of my seat through the entire book. The details and layer after layer of suspicion created by the author keeps you mind trying to figure out why and who through a series of complex murders. Casey and her team do not give up even as Casey becomes a potential victim. Trying to track down the killer, the whole team is put in danger. Victims are not the ones you think they would be! Will they lose any team members as they pursue the killer? Who and why are they now going after Casey and her team? Only by reading this captivating plot will you get the answers you seek!
Many thanks to #partnersincrimevbt and the author #andreakaneauthor for an ARC copy of this crime thriller. I have read and reviewed this book voluntarily and opinions expressed here are unbiased and entirely my own.
This book started out with a bang. It kept me intrigued. Somebody's name wrote in blood. The storyline is intriguing.
There are a few different storylines within the book. Everything ties up Nicely. You must follow along with the story to know what's going to happen. To find the killer. Hop on for a ride. This author definitely gives you that.
I felt like I was watching a lifetime Criminal minds movie..
I enjoyed the story. This author keeps you intrigued. Wanting to know who the killer is.
The guys at Forensic Instincts were quickly drawn into this case in an unusual way and things seemed to quickly spiral out of control a bit. It didn't help that they weren't at full staff with a couple members enjoying some time off. Then there was the big drama that happened with Casey, where things got serious fast. It seemed like as the investigation went on it was hard to find little nuggets of info that would led them to the next thing to finally get to the bottom of things. They finally did and it was sad what happened, so many people hurt. Lots of big life changes for our crew, it will be fun to see how they all deal with them and work.
*Thank you Partners in Crime Tours for including me on this tour!
Struck Dead begins with a hit-n-run auto accident with a fatality. The police are inclined to think that millionaire Christopher Hillington is their key suspect, based on what appears to be circumstantial evidence. But Christopher is then murdered.
A great whodunnit / whydunnit! This energetic tale has a high-octane plot that involves the F I (Forensic Instinct ) team and the police both trying to solve the two mysteries. The F I team consists of eclectic investigators with many varying skill sets. Can you solve the unexpected findings and layers of trickery that will be revealed throughout the story?
What a finale! The final scene was surprising!
I have not read any of the previous nine books in this series but was able to follow the storyline and the numerous characters. I would like to read other books in this series!
I highly recommend this book if you like thrilling adventure, action-packed narrative, and unforeseen events!
Another great book from this series. I love all the interesting characters that are like a family to each other in this tight knit business. The storyline was very intriguing and a bit scary at times. Can’t wait to read to the next book. Thanks
Nailed it! Yaaassss!!! Oh my gosh I love these guys! I feel like I am finally back with my friends again! That’s what the Forensic Instincts team in this series are like… they feel like friends to me. And it’s funny… Every time I read a book in this series (I think this is book # 5 for me) I have a different favorite character. Each team member is so different, different personalities, different skills, but each one so wonderful. I love learning more and more about them each book.
This book starts out so comfortably like you’re just reading about your best friends or your family and you just know them so well. But I think even if you hadn’t read any of the other books that you would still feel comfortable reading this because Andrea does such a good job of telling who everyone is. By the end of the story you will feel like you're a part of the team.
Mid book... hand is covering my mouth, and tears flowing down my face! Claire drops her cup… You know something big is happening. She can sense it, she can feel it. That’s when I lost it. Oh my gosh, I have chills! Well done Andrea Kane! Very well done!
This book was so suspenseful. I love a mystery that leaves you bread crumbs! I loved walking through the play by play as if I was working for Forensic Instincts myself. And I totally would love that! Think they would hire me? :-)
This novel is just expertly, brilliantly executed! All this book did was get me super excited about reading the next one!! Every time I sat down to read I didn’t want to stop yet I didn’t want to read too fast, I wanted to be able to devour every word.
I think this is my favorite book of the series so far. Andrea Kane will have a hard time topping this one! Definitely going on my top 10 list for the year.
Read this one - you are in for a treat!
I voluntarily posted this review after receiving a copy of this book from Partners in Crime Tours - Thank You!!
A fast paced novel that struck home to the FI gang. A mystery that was convoluted and twisty. I thoroughly enjoy the Forensic Instincts novels. The whole gang mesh together and even though each has their own jobs, they all get together, especially if it's for one of their own.
This is another fine volume in the Forensic Instincts series. It involves a hit and run crime, a multimillionaire and dysfunctional family dynamics. Casey and her team are forced to find innovative ways to get information and solve multiple crimes. There is great danger for the team and they manage to find their way through. Anyone who loves adventure, mystery and more will eat this up. Enjoy.
Struck Dead by Andrea Kane is the 10th book in the Forensic Instincts series. I probably read two or three others in the series. That said, you do not need to read in order, although you certainly can. The author does a wonderful job recapping who the characters are and their role at the Forensic Instincts Institute.
A multi-millionaire Christopher Hillington is involved in a hit and run accident, the police are trying to find him for hit and run which claimed the life of a man who has a sick wife. Before the police can arrest Christopher for the hit and run, Christoper is found murdered with the name Casey Woods who is the founder of Forensic Instincts Institute.
The institute team has each individual with their own unique backgrounds and talents that helps when trying to solve crimes that the police/FBI are unable to do on their own. A behaviorist, a former Navy Seal, Techno expert, Intuitive, retired FBI agent, A dog that can use scent to track people be they the victim or the criminal. There is also a character that is AI who is very interesting. When this group is hired for whatever reason, they are definitely a force to be reckoned with.
Because Casey's name was at the crime scene of the murdered man, and the fact that Casey's name was at the scene, they are in the fast track to figure out what her role if any and why would the murdered man have left this message.
Each team member with their combined talents must now work fast to ensure Casey's safety, it is pretty obvious that she is a threat to whoever the culprit is. When an incident happens that they all feared, now realize that they have to do what they can as a collected effort to not only clear Casey's name as she has become a suspect. This is definitely a character driven book, and it also shows the in-depth research that the author did.
Like I said earlier, even though this is part of a series, each book stands alone and can be read as such, or you can start with book #1. I have also over the years read a few of Andrea's books and have enjoyed them all. To get a better handle on each character's traits and assets, it isn't a bad idea to start with book #1 The Girl Who Disappeared Twice. Time permitting of course because once you start reading whatever book you chose to read, you won't put it down until you reach the thrilling conclusion. I give the book 5 stars
I received a copy of the book for review purposes and was not monetarily compensated for said review. Courtesy of Partners in Crime Book Tours.
MY RATING GUIDE: 4.5 Stars. I enjoy reading Kane’s Forensic Instinct novels. They are fast moving; the characters capture my interest; I find myself racing to discover the ending and they are fairly Clean. A refreshing change.
1= dnf/What was that?; 2= Nope, not for me; 3= This was okay/cute; 3.5= I enjoyed it; 4= I LIKED THIS A LOT; 5= I Loved it, it was great! (I seldom give 5 Stars).
New York City, NY ~ Christopher Hillington, a well-known NYC millionaire, was being investigated by the police for his possible involvement with a Hit and Run vehicle homicide. But Hillington is unexpectedly murdered before the police can make an arrest. Casey Woods is the the president of Forensic Instincts, an aggressive investigative company, and her name is scrawled in blood next to Hillington’s dead body at the crime scene. Forensic Instincts knows that Casey Woods did not kill Christopher Hillington. To protect Casey from possible arrest, Forensic Instincts immediately begins investigating the intertwined cases on their own - Who bludgeoned Hillington to death? Did Hillington’s death have anything to do with the pending Hit and Run case? And why was Casey’s name written by the victim at the crime scene?
Comments ~ 1) STRUCK DEAD is bk 10 in Andrea Kane’s Forensic Instinct’s Contemporary Thriller series. It can be read as a Standalone title but relationships within the organization continue to develop over time. This series reminds me of a Police Procedural except that the main characters work towards answers and Justice in a grey area occasionally outside legal methods. 2) The books in this series are fast moving and switch from one situation to another, pulling in different characters as the story develops. I never got bored and finished the book quickly. 3) Recommended to readers who enjoy: > Police Procedural type Thrillers > Character-driven series > Series featuring a varied group of specialists (former FBI, Homicide Detective, Marine, SEAL, NSA, Tech Wizard, Empath/Psychic, Grifter) working together to solve cases. > Seasoned Main Characters (most 35+) > Fairly Clean content (minimal language, no on scene sexuality)
READER CAUTION ~ PROFANITY - Yes. Infrequent use of strong language. VIOLENCE - PG. Not dark or graphic. SEXUAL SITUATIONS - None. Occasional Closed Door intimacy inferred.
I received this book as a gift. Forensic Instincts is an organization that delves into criminal investigations – like a PI company, sometimes skirting the law and definitely making the detectives in this story a bit irked at their antics, especially when it comes to not sharing information. This story centers around what happened to Mr. Hillington and why and is coupled with the underlying story of what really happened to Mr. Vicario. And, to keep things interesting, who is going after Casey. The characters we meet are Casey and Hutch (Casey is the owner of FI, and Hutch is FBI). Ryan, Patrick, Claire (she is an intriguing character), Marc, Emma, and Yoda. The two police detectives, Lorraine and Burt, who have opposite personalities so they complement each other. Angela Case, Mr. Hillington’s lawyer. The rest of the Hillington family, the Vicario family, and the secret family. Having never “met” these characters, I was still able to pick up on their different personality quirks. Each of these folks have different talents that they use throughout their investigations. I was intrigued with Claire as she is a claircognizant, meaning she gets visions. She adds an intriguing element/perspective to this tale. I was especially taken with Yoda. Yoda is basically a Siri, an Alexa, the internet with a voice request. Yoda has also apparently taken on a human aspect, or so it seems. I also enjoyed reading about all the backstories, even the minor ones, that make the characters all the more relatable. This is book 10 in this series and I suspect there will be more. If you like police procedurals that run in a series, pick this one up. Short chapters, quick read, well-developed characters. I don’t think you have to read them in order to get a sense of the characters. I suspect FI will be taking on another investigation soon … irritating the two detectives even more on their next adventure, especially since they’re going to be adding a new team member. You’ll have to read the book to find out who that is.
I am a longtime fan of the forensic instincts series, and have read every book multiple times. I particularly love the character development throughout the series, and this is what keeps me coming back for more, more so than the cases themselves. I don't want to give spoilers, but one of the team does face a life-threatening situation in this book. There is also great character development between all three of the couples in the series. I am especially partial to Claire and Ryan and have loved watching their relationship grow and Ryan mature. I would love to see a book that delves into Claire's past, as her family history has been hinted at many times and I feel like there would be a lot of potential there.
This book was one of my favourites of the series, as the case was really interesting (I didn't guess the bad guy!) and I also enjoyed the scenes with the non-FI characters (much more so than the previous book, where I just didn't connect with the character whose case they were solving or the actual case at all). This case revolves around what seem to be multiple stories and families, but you can tell they will fit together somehow and it was fun trying to guess how. I appreciated that there was almost nothing written from the perspective of the bad guy, as I found these scenes not to be enjoyable at all in some of the earlier books, and also quite unnecessary. I would much rather read about the FI team solving the case rather than half the book from the perspective of other random characters. Overall a great read, and I hope the next book will come a bit faster - two years between books is a long wait!
Thanks very much to Bonnie Meadow for the advanced copy of the book!
Andrea Kane is the author of Struck Dead, the first book I've read by this writer, and certainly not the last. This installment is the tenth in the Forensic Instincts series, featuring an intriguing storyline. Forensic Instincts is a team of private investigators, each excelling in their respective fields and operating as a tight-knit unit like a family. While each book can be enjoyed on its own, the shifting character dynamics and relationships made me more curious about their beginnings and I want to know more.
The plot revolves around two crimes and a multitude of clues to help decipher them. Initially focusing on a hit-and-run that killed a diligent family man with a very sick wife, multi-millionaire Christopher Hillington is accused of the murder. However, upon his murder, a cryptic blood-written note mentioning Casey Woods emerges, which casts doubt on her innocence. Casey, and her FI team, along with Casey's boyfriend Hutch and the local police detectives, all race against time to unravel the mysteries surrounding the hit-and-run and Christopher's murder. Casey's life could be on the line. The suspense grows because of the huge web of deception and danger.
It's evident the author has great skills in weaving a complex and unpredictable plot. Each detail and revelation played a crucial role in solving the mysteries. Another reason I need to read more from this author.
The book proves to be very gripping and keeps readers interested throughout the novel. In addition, there are oodles of twists and mind games that help readers stay engaged in the storyline. As the clues build up, and motives are revealed, this all results in a satisfying and surprising ending, for this thrilling story.
Struck Dead is written by Andrea Kane. This is the first book that I have read by this author, and it will not be my last. This book is number 10 in the Forensic Instincts series. While I have not read any of the other books in the series, I feel like I made new friends as I got to know the characters in the story.
Casey is the owner of Forensic Instincts. They are kind of like a PI firm that will investigate crimes. She has her work cut out for her - First there is a hit and run. The victim is a hardworking family man. The prime suspect is multi millionaire Christopher Hillington. Then he is found murdered. He leaves behind a cryptic note that he wrote in his blood. Suddenly, Casey herself finds herself in the suspect seat.
Casey and her team, along with Hutch and the FBI need to figure out what really happened in the hit and run, and who would want Christopher dead. They also need to find out who is behind all of this before Casey becomes the next victim.
The author does a really great job in leaving you clues, yet throwing in twists and turns that I did not suspect coming. She does a good job balancing the crime and the development of her characters. I was shocked when I got to the end. My heart was pounding so hard that I was sure that everyone in my household could hear it.
I like the author's writing style. The book flows nicely. Her characters are well developed and you feel like you are sitting on scene watching everything unfold. I hope to read more from this author in the future.
Thank you to the author, publisher and Partners in Crime Tours for allowing me to read a copy of this book. All thoughts are my own.
Well another Andrea Kane book, I am almost done with the supply at my library. This one is a Forensic Instincts, #10. I think this might be the best one yet... I like the twisting of the law...
Forensic Instincts is an investigation firm that moves just under the law to accomplish the goals of their clients who are generally rich. They are the ultra of the ultra in everything they do and they will need to be because the victim in question in this book is Casey, the leader of FI herself. This means that the team will have to pull out all stops and move heaven and earth to make sure that Casey isn't the main suspect in the death of Christopher Hillington a very rich man.
Hillington is accused by NYPD of a vehicular death that killed a Salt of the Earth kinda guy. But before the PD can establish Hillington's death he is beaten to death in his house. Unfortunately for Casey she only meets him at the scene of his death and before the Police arrive. A wouldbe FI friend calls Casey to let her know about the death and that Hillington wrote her name with his blood as he lay dying. But why?
Casey and NYPD are in a race to find out who, what, when where, and how until Casey becomes a potential victim as does another FI member. This is twisty and well plotted without a fraction of wiggle room in the plot we barely squeak by. I didn't think we were going to make it, yall.. well worth the read.
Romantic suspense that is fast-paced and tightly plotted.
I don't think Struck Dead is Andrea Kane's first Forensics Instincts novel, but I wasn't feeling lost. I thought forensics was about studying murdered bodies, but this story was about a team of investigators with FBI and CIA experience who studied more the murder scene. It was a page-turner that surprised me enjoyably in the end. I'll be reading more of the series if I can.
The Forensics Instincts' president looks to be in trouble when a rich, murdered man, though not a client or acquaintance, writes her name in his blood as he's dying.
It takes lot of research and personal investigation, including computer hacking and a good clairvoyant, to figure out what the victim intended since she didn't even know him. She knew he was about to be arrested for a hit-and-run that killed a man, but was the rich man guilty of iit?
The two incidents are connected, the team realize, and yet there will be two killers. The Forensics Instincts' president will become a target as her team gets closer to the answer and the police aren't very happy with them, either, for withholding info on the case. It's not all about the case, though, as the team are charismatic individuals with personal lives as well. I would have liked to see their dog more.
Exciting book I can easily recommend to mystery lovers!
I have enjoyed this series. The characters making up Forensic Instincts are the driving force in the enjoyment of this series. From a clairvoyant to tech savvy people, they all work together in unusual ways to investigate a mystery. The investigation in this novel is intense as at risk is one of their own. I like how they dance around the line between legal investigation and necessary but illegal work, such as hacking to get records and other information often police detectives don't even think about.
I like how Kane balances the work of the investigation with personal aspects of the FI people. I have read several books in the series and I have become engaged in the ongoing personal stories. While this novel is down the line in the series, there is enough back story that it can be enjoyed on its own.
This is a great addition to the series with plenty of action, a good mystery and a fitting resolution. It looks like there will be a new member of the team and new adventures in the future. I've enjoyed this series and I'll be watching for them.
I received a complimentary egalley of this book through Partners in Crime Book Tours. My comments are an independent and honest review.
This is the 10th book in the author's Forensic Instincts series, and it was so good! It can be read as a standalone, but I'm definitely going to have to go back and read the whole series!
An innocent family man is killed in a hit and run, and the traffic cam shows multimillionaire Christopher Hillington's BMW 760i leaving the scene. Before the NYPD can bring him up on charges, he's found brutally murdered in his office. But before he dies, he's written the name Casey Woods in his blood. Casey is the president of the investigative team, Forsenic Instincts. Casey becomes a suspect, and the team must work to clear her name by finding the real killer, but they also need to protect her from potential danger. It seems Christopher Hillington had a world of secrets, and a number of people could be suspects, including his own family. Will Casey and her team be able to find the killer before it's too late and also solve the case of the hit-and-run?
This book was a total page turner! I was highly invested right from the beginning. I absolutely loved the Forensic Instincts team. They each have a unique quality to bring forth that made the book that much more interesting. The mystery was intriguing and definitely kept me guessing. The book was fast-paced and action-packed. I thought it was a great read and would highly recommend it.
I'm rating this book 3.5 stars, rounded up, but I was somewhat on the fence with the first part of the book. I've been reading this series since the 1st book. The plot of mysteries and cases have been fairly solid and interesting. In this case, we revisit a character from the last book who was a person of interest in another crime.
The FI team is interesting, but the writing gets stodgy at times. Too much repetition and reintroducing characters and their roles along with rehashing plans and strategies in the investigations. There are times I think Casey is too harsh or overreacting. There are new characters introduced with little explanation, but the pieces come together. The most interesting part comes when a pivotal FI team member's life is in danger. Then there is later some happy news. The identity of one of the killers was somewhat of a surprise to me, so it wasn't predictable. Some of the story ARCs were somewhat unoriginal. I enjoyed the undercover detective stuff, though.
Struck Dead by Andrea Kane is a fantastic thriller. The plot is complex with many layers that add up eventually. Leaving readers, like me, hanging on by a thread wondering what's next. The suspense will kill you. Andrea Kane knows how to hook and lure readers deeper into her dark crime world full of murder and mystery. This novel was like watching Criminal Minds playing out because there usually are a lot of dead bodies and damage done before the FBI finds the killer(s). The scenes were intense, dark, and full of horror. This cast of characters also made this book more real. The detail about each one helps readers connect on an emotional level. The things investigators see with such cases...leaves me wondering how they stay in their profession for so long. It also makes me admire the characters and real-life heroes that take the risks to find the bad guys. Overall, this book is perfect for fans of Sandra Brown, Karen Rose, and Nora Roberts.
I received this copy from the publisher. This is my voluntary review.
I loved the opening of this book y’all. I love a mystery with a murder right in the beginning of the book! Someone dying in the beginning makes the reader try to figure out who done it for the rest of the book! Casey, our MC, is the leader of Forensic Instincts and also was found with a piece of incriminating evidence at the murder scene which has put her on the NYPD radar, as a suspect. There is just one problem, she has no idea who the murdered person was… The writing was superb for a murder and mystery! I was engaged from the beginning to the end of the book. I was surprised at the ending of the book and that trauma that happened with Casey! I mean wow! I couldn’t put the book down at night trying to learn what happened with Casey and the team. I loved what happened at the very end and how that change will affect Forensic Instincts and the team overall, but mostly in a positive and challenging way!
The truth was shocking. Plot twists were unpredictable and they kept me on the edge of my seat. The author has not only added perfect amount of suspense but also portrayed the emotions so well. I felt the anxiety when Casey became the victim. The writing is gripping and narration is engaging. Characters were realistic and the descriptions of crime scenes were so insightful. The book is detail oriented, multilayered, action packed and full of suspense.
Many Thanks to the Publisher, Author and Partners in Crime Book Tour Organiser.
the 10th novel in the Forensic Instincts series and ohh it's a good one....A Hit and run kills the wrong man....a Billionaire with a dual life....and Casey Woods name written in a dead man's blood on his desk as he was beaten to death with a sledgehammer.... Then a bullet that nearly takes Casey out of action PERMANANTLY. As the F.I. Team scrambles to solve two crimes and protect one of their own all of their efforts might not be enough this time....This is a page turner and well worth the time the deeper she gets into this series the better the books get love it
This book has so many different threads and strings to follow. It got a little confusing for me as I was listening to it. At the end it took a while for me to piece together why things ended they way they did, but then it all made sense. I love the attention to detail, and cannot wait for the next FI development!! This is my favorite series of all time. Please never let it end!!
