The origin of The Flash! The loss of his mother put Barry Allen on the road to becoming a hero, but only when he gains his powers will he understand the most important lesson his must learn.
This origin story of the Flash got me a little confused since it's different than the TV show, but like of course I didn't expect it to be the same. However, the characters are different as well? Whatever, it was still a fun read and a fast one, too. I loved the artwork, especially the times of the lightning. I'm new to this world. The Flash (TV show) literally made me start reading comic books. I'm really curious of how this journey will go.
IT'S MORE OF A "BERRY ALLAN" STORY THEN A "FLASH" STORY. ORIGIN STORY IS STANDARD, LOVED THE GOOD AMOUNT OF EMOTIONS SPRINKLED THROUGHOUT THE STORY. THERE ARE NO NEGATIVES FOR ME. IT'S A "GOOD" 1ST ISSUE, NO COMPLAINS THERE. I AM LOOKING FORWARD FOR "GREAT" ISSUES IN COMING DAYS. A MIGHTY CHEER TO THE PEOPLE BEHIND IT.
I just love my comic book heros. I've stuck to the basics (Hulk, X-Men, Superman, Iron Man, etc.) for a while now. Watching the CW's Arrow has me wanting to branch out a bit though, especially after this weeks ep "The Scientist". As such, I'm reading The Flash, starting with the 2010 stuff.
