I couldn't finish it. When the male protagonist neither understands nor cares about consent, how is he any better than the villain?

Very strong start, but it went downhill from there. The romance felt very forced and rushed, especially after everything we were told about Rory's late fiancée. Multiple antagonists were introduced, but none of them was interesting enough to leave much of an impression. Considering Roroy's Tragique Backstory™, you'd expect he might have some consideration for consent. The ending didn't make much sense either.

The style was easy to read, but the pacing leaves much to be desired.

What an entertaining read!
I really did need a pick me up and this novel proudly produced it. It was a shock to me to read such a gory scene at the beginning, but it definitely caught my attention and dragged me in.
The romance was a little OTT, but still unquestionably enjoyable.

Passione, amore, azione, avventura... Non manca nulla.

This was good, but by no means my favorite.

This is one of my favorite series, I have read it numerous times and will read it again. The books are thinner and takes no time at all to read all three.
