Don Nori, Sr. has given us another great insight into an area of relationship with God in his book The Voice: How We Can Participate, How We Should Respond. I absolutely must say that this was one that I thoroughly enjoyed because much of what he shared in this book is not only what I have come to understand about my relationship with God, but I found myself acknowledging that it is where I am in life. This book literally walks you through the joys to be found in hearing from God, knowing your place in His plan to display, "on Earth as it is in Heaven." Each chapter is fully focused on revealing how much God loves us and desires us to seek to hear Him clearly.

Throughout this book you will find Don sharing how we can truly connect to God through prayer, praise, and worship; how we might have missteps in our pursuits when we do things amiss; and even points out how self can get in the way of both hearing God and ensuring that we do not mistakenly rob God of His glory.

I can assure you that there is not one chapter of this book that does not have one thing that you can take away in either inspiration or application to your own spiritual growth. If you consider yourself to be an intercessor or have a deep yearning to grow into one, then this is definitely something that you will find as most instrumental in helping you in that area.

If you've been longing for a deeper understanding of the richness to be gained by hearing, seeing, God's Heart, loving and doing as God does, then get this book. I recommend this book for any one who leads a prayer group, any ministry leader or member, or anyone who wants to see someone they love grow in their faith.

Wow!

This book is one of those watershed books that changes... well, everything! If you are comfortable with the status quo, pass this one by. But, if you are desperate for more, jump in! This book is as unQuo as it gets!

In his latest book The Voice, Don Nori takes us on an unexpected journey into the heart of the Christian experience. While many Christians today are looking only for the easy road with its promise of comfort without commitment, Mr. Nori reminds us that the true heart of Jesus is experienced only through repentance and brokenness. The seeker-friendly heart will run from this closeness, this relationship that demands introspection and confronts our shortcomings. In short, the voice teaches us that we are to have a living breathing relationship with the One who knows us better than ourselves. Our true fulfillment in this Christian walk lies in not how many earthly goods we attain, but in how close we draw near to our loving Father, and ascertain His voice. The church that Jesus is building in these last days is based not on the size of congregation or the square footage of the building, but rather on the size of the heart towards Him. It is a heart of love, compassion, and humility and looks not at this kingdom here and now, but to the kingdom that is coming. This book is certainly a must for every believer who wants to know the true heart of God. And not only His heart but His voice also. I believe that Don Nori knows both the heart and voice of God very well , and he successfully articulates both in this wonderful rendering. Get this book and taste and see that the Lord is good. This book has inspired me to always stay humble and listen to God’s heart. He talks about we need brokenness and humility continually along with abiding and unity with the God. Don Nori Sr., you have ones again presented a fantastic book. This is a book is overall is excellent, compassion, and wisdom. I’m going to put into act what have learned in this wonderful book.

In several chapters have quotes from Oswald Chambers, Judson W. Van DeVenter, Brother Lawrence, Thomas à Kempis, Evelyn Underhill , Dwight L. Moody, and a great short prayer from A.W. Tozer. This book has such great impact. This is my review on the free eBook that was given to me by the publisher.

A book that I just can't find the words to describe. I think I would have given it four stars but there were points that were repetitive, other than that, a wonderful book.
