I enjoyed reading through this cookbook and finding tons of recipes to add to my recipe collection.

I've been cookin' up vittles for a few years now. This cookbook has consistently provided good recipes. The best banana bread I've ever made and a chicken roll-up with apple raisin stuffing are a couple standouts. Being a scratch bake kind of guy there are few too many "start with a box of ..." recipes but this is probably a good thing for parents with little time.

Cook's Illustrated (cooksillustrated.com from the PBS show American's Test Kitchen) is still is my favorite cooking publication but this cookbook is a great addition to the shelf.
