A book with a lot of useful information. Despite being a little dated, this book is packed with job ideas. And unlike some other job seeking books on the market, it tells you where to go. Do yourself a favor and ignore the fact that it mentions the yellow pages half the time and look up the organizations mentioned online.

You may be pleasantly surprised at what you find. While some job ideas could easily be done with sharing economy apps like UberEats and Handy, there is still in my opinion, plenty of value that can be extracted from this book. To be honest, you could take some of the jobs mentioned in this book, and turn them into a career. This book may not tell you what to say when you arrive at your chosen destination, but it will tell you where to look for jobs.

As a side note, if you really do want to use the yellow pages, you can always instal the yellow pages app on your smartphone. Worth a read if you can overlook some of it’s dated points.

Good reference. Getting a little dated, due for a new edition. Especially good for people in performing arts/film/etc.
