Excellent read! The plot is finely crafted and the pace makes you want to keep reading. Toyne's descriptive phrases are a delight and I found myself stopping and going back over a phrase to re-sample its delight. Although part of a trilogy, this first book stands on its own but you'll probably want to read the rest of them. I know I do!
