JP Jackson was born in 1981 in the shipbuilding town of Greenock, Scotland. He wrote his 1st novel "The 9th Fortress" whilst working as a nightwatchman. Emigrating to Canada at the age of 30, he currently lives in the province of British Columbia. His is favourite drink is Irn Bru, and his cat's name's are Al and Iza.
