3:5 stars, The book is good but some moments where just to sleazy for me. Like the way Becka and Ty behaved with each other. It was like Ty liked the attentions so she was just being a tease with string in front a cat being Becka. That was annoying both girls where close like to girlfriends, partners would be with each other . Another thing was that the author portrayed Ty or Alexis being a genuinely caring and kind character. Total opposite from the stereotyping , judgemental ,shallow and superficial inner dialog self she was. Meaning Alexis personal inner dialogue thoughts that we read are just that stereotyping , judgemental ,shallow and superficial . Whereas the way she behaves and speaks to others protrayes the genuineness, honest, kind and caring person. Its like she has spilt personality. In her brain when she sees a individual who is a stranger to her . There is a judging switch that goes on instead her , she is never vocal about it . So that way she isn't obnoxious she just thinks and I find that weird . I mean since she is a escort and would have met a variety of people with different personalities or done variety of things herself. I would have thought she would be mature and go by the saying: "never judge the book by its cover" But nope she is more like a naïve bitch like you would find in mean girls . rememeber the leader of plastics shoes character was played by Rachael McAdam? That is how Alexis behaves in her brain and guess what her predictions are always wrong but she doesn't learn from them.

I was told by my friend, the author, that this was totally different than her Stricken series (which I Fucking LOVED) and she was not lying to me. When asked did I like it better or compare it to the Stricken series.... I can't....because they are two totally different stories. She is an AMAZING and AWESOME story teller!
We meet Alexis who is an escort. Yes, an escort! I was a little worried myself about this one. Because let's be honest... I haven't read too many escort books. And knowing what escorts do... I was like "holy shit".... will this be a modern day Pretty Woman... will Richard Gear be driving up in a white Limo and rescue her from her tower... and NO it's not! Trust me ya'll.. it's GOOD!
DO NOT LET the words ESCORT and PIMP scare you away from giving this a try.... It's pulls you in and grabs you by your most intimate parts and doesn't let go. You are just reading and reading and panting and getting anxious and happy and on edge and panting and wishing YOU were the one in the room with these men... okay at least two out of the three men....
I went through several emotions while reading this one.... happy, sad, anxious,blushed on several occasion, had "happy girly parts" too....
We have a few scenes that were intense and very detailed.... one particular "group party" if you know what I mean...was Over the Top Crazy! In a Fucking good way! I mean, if you are into that kind of stuff (wink wink) . I must say though... my girly parts were happy while reading some of these scenes! The author can do that to you....that woman knows how to write!
Three different men, with three different life styles in this one. We live through them all. I wasn't sure at first who I wanted Alexis to possibly end up with and to be honest... I still don't know who would be a good fit for her....who knows... maybe S.K. will throw a huge wrench in it and introduce some more "Lovers" in book 2....
Anyway, I am trying to keep this review as clean and without spoilers as possible. We are left with a cliffhanger and I could reach through my phone and slap S. K. (the author) Just kidding, but not really =) Will Alexis give up the money and the job she has been happy and secure with.... give up her regulars who she enjoys spending time with to pursue a relationship with a certain someone? .......Your guess is as good as mine..... we have to wait for book 2......
5 stars because it grabs you....takes you on a ride....one that I've never been on before while reading....has several Hot lovers....Hot sex and possibly a True Love - HEA kind of sappiness shit in the end.....

4 Solid Stars for Storyline and 5 Sizzling Hot Stars for Sexiness and Eroticism, yep, and I mean Eroticism at it's FINEST!
OK, I just finished this today and I have to say that I truly liked it a lot..... Now let me explain why I only liked a lot and not loved it.... The storyline was a definite 4 Solid Stars for me. Why not 4.5 or even 5 Stars, well, as much as the writing itself was great and the storyline flowed fairly seamlessly, I felt that there wasn't enough Alexis and Brad "time" for me.....well, there was but there wasn't and for me I needed more of an emotional connection as well as a "romantic" connection and yet all I got was what was in her "head" if that makes sense which was good but I wanted it to come to fruition, hehehe. There seemed to be more "escort" times, yeah, I mean with clients and not with Brad:( But as much as I appreciated the author maybe trying to make them work or at least her work for it, something, she felt she wasn't worthy of (yes, a great guy like Brad), I still wanted a bit more one on one time between the two... The times they did have were great but again, I needed more.
OK, now on to the sex scenes in this book.... holy hell, yep, Hot off the Freaking Charts... Oh yes, it was not just hot, sexy and sizzling but it was kinky as hell and so damn erotic.... Oh my, yep, the sexual flutterings going on with my girlie parts were at DefCon 10, lolololol, it was so much more kinkier than I thought it would be and I LOVED every second of every sexual encounter throughout this book!!!!!!!
I am now diving straight into the next book in this series because I am dying to know what will happen between Alexis and Brad!

Honest review: This book has it all. Alexis enjoys her life the way she lives it. And her work ringtone, I just have to say LOVE IT. I must say this book even has humor in it. Which a lot of these books don't. God bring the humor people. Then Becka, her roommate makes things a little more difficult with her secret and preferences as well. Then the one work night they have together, everything Alexis has known as the way it is has shifted. Brad is the one man that makes her she could be a different person. She is always herself, but she feels she could just BE with Brad. Maybe? What is worse, she knows his sister and mother and consider them her family and loves them. She doesn't want to lose that over anything that would happen with Brad.There is a lot of situations that get in the way of everything, naturally that cause some stress along the way with her clients as well. Some are over board SERIOUSLY mental and others are on the way. I am SO ready for the next book to come out as soon as I read the last page and it is not yet.

This is the definition of trashy. Over the top book title, cliché one liners, 2 grammar mistakes, and the only thing it got right is, it paints a vivid picture filled with interesting characters. Nobody plays hard to get, and all the characters act with confidence and purpose. Although the characters make sociopathic capitalist decisions, they invest in romantic values and the people around them; which I think is perfect for a functional human being in the first world that's not Autistic or into STEM field.
I loved this book and its differences from the usual boo and woo of the victimized women in 50 shades alike books. Looking to read more by this author.

S.K.Logsdon was a new (to me) author until a few days ago when I read her amazing book LEX. Now I've just finished one of her older books and I am still in love with her storytelling!
In this book (which by the way is Book 1 and I'm now DYING for the sequel...OMG!!!) Alexis/Ty is one half of a girl duo of high priced escorts (not so glamorous but in this book it really is) who share an apartment, a pimp and an unconventional open friendship. They are each other's support systems, confidantes and sometimes date tag-team buddies.
The men in the book are all pretty amazing and hot as hell...from the very rich and very infatuated repeat client Joseph, to the not so alpha messed up John and finally the tender-hearted, mama's boy Brad.
What makes this book so different from the usual call-girl finds true love romance, is the witty dialogue and realistic process that Alexis undergoes to find her way. Family plays a big part in this story and staying true to yourself, while learning to compromise for someone you care for, is another huge component.
I found myself alternating between being extremely turned on and holding my breath with worry through much of this book. The sexual activity was intense and although Alexis resists partaking in certain activites, when she finally breaks down some barriers...well all I can say is HOLY HELL!! At times I wondered and really worried that something really horrendous would happen to the girls in the course of their "business"... but this was not that kind of book.
The ending was what I hoped for...but left me hanging...ugh...and now I have to wait to find out how it will all play out in the end.

This is a pretty decent book. The main character includes an escort so expect a lot of sex, and different kinds of sex. The main character comes with insecurities about her job, which any woman in her situation in our society faces. Her clients include a couple of regulars, then a bit of a surprise gangbang toward the end. (When I say different kinds of sex: M/M, F/F, three-ways, etc.) There is something here for every kind of taste. Something in this book will get you fired up. I guarantee it. Plot wise, there were times when the author added action to the book. It was short lived however. I think the story with some of the ex's (especially the one in the club) could have been expanded upon to make the book more exciting. Brad, well, I think he became one of my favorite book boyfriends.
The editing wasn't great however, most editing isn't these days. What is up with that? Remember when books didn't have misspellings? Huh!
I would recommend this book only to readers with an open mind. This book is not for the easily offended. Sex is a part of the story, they are in the sex industry so expect a little kink. Characters are a little wild. My favorite thing: Alexis's ring tone! True Blood baby!!!!

Good, sexy read and refreshingly different than most of the other books I've read recently. Alexis is an high-end escort and the book takes us through a number of her "dates." On one of them she meets Brad, whose friend set up the date and doesn't know Alexis' profession. She realizes she has feelings for him so needs to stay away, but it turns out his sister owns the B&B Alexis frequents and is one of Alexis' friends. Alexis agrees to be friends with him, and eventually he learns what she does for a living. Not a good thing! In the meantime, we continue to get to experience Alexis' escapades with Joseph (her regular), John (a newer guy that likes to be dominated) and a gang bang with her roomie and BFF Becka. The book ends on somewhat of a cliff hanger. I enjoyed the book and the story, and would rate it 4 or maybe a little higher. But, I have to take away points for bad editing, especially in the last 25% of the book. I don't know what happened - the punctuation was atrocious, which drops the book to a 3.5 star rating for me. I do want to know what happens, so I will read the sequel, and hope the author did a better job in proofing the next book before publication.

I truly enjoyed this book. It had many things that I look for in a good read. It was a great story, with believable characters, full of hot sex, humor and romance! I can't wait to see where book two will take us!

HOLY MOTHER OF HOTNESS!
I LOVED this book. The characters are amazing. The chemistry between Alexis and all her men is off the charts hot! Joseph sounds so unbelievably sexy and the sex between him and Alexis is f**king amazing at times I was so turned on I had to get up and walk outside to clear my mind. Lol. John was really into his kink but that was hot too. Brad is the most down to earth of the bunch and sweet and thoughtful. What's not to love. He's desperately trying to help her bet out of jer line of work so she can do her drawing full time for a living so he can have her all to himself. I know she loves him but I'm nit sure if I were her I could let go of Joseph. I know he's married but he would drop everything for her and I think he'd be lost without her. I wouldn't want to hurt him. I think she kinda loves him too in a certain way. She really seems to enjoy her time with him. He's very solid, strong, dependable and not to mention sex on a big stick. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

Artful Attraction is the story of a sassy and sexy escort named Alexis. I never thought I'd like a book about a prostitute, but I loved this. I can't wait for the next book in this series!
Alexis and her roommate, Becca, are high end escorts. They have a very interesting friendship. One of my favorite scenes is when Alexis helps Becca with applying a cream to her intimate areas. It wasn't written as a sex scene, but OMG was it HOT!
I loved all the different types of clients that the author rights about. You see all the kinky and fun clients and those that are a but out there. Lol
Eventually, Alexis goes on a double "date" with Becca and meets Brad. Brad is a husky and hot man who she soon realizes she has connections to. I don't know where to start.. I think it was a good book but lacked something. Love Alexis's character and how she conducts herself. Brad was so sweet and kind of perfect that I thought something was wrong with him, He really needs to step up his game. At this point, I think I Love Joseph who's a cheating bastard but kind of perfect with the storyline haha.
Overall, Love the storyline, has some great characters and others not so much but really its missing something at least for me.!
Ps. The spelling errors make difficult the read for me since Spanish is my first language but it was a good book.!

I loved this book. Its so different than SK's Stricken Rock Books. They can not be compared either. Alexis and Becca are roommates. They are High Priced Escorts. Alexis is paid nicely to just go on a date with a client. If sex is involved the price is even higher. I love all her different clients. She has some freaky ones and one that only wants to please her. She goes on a double "date" with Becca as Brads Date. she feels a strong pull to him as he does to her. Alexis is not sure what to do with these feelings. the sex scenes are WOW!!! they will make your panties wet n you will need a cold shower.

I was given this book for free for an honest review. I loved this book and can't wait to read the rest of this series plus all of S.K.'s books! I love a hot, sexy book and she gives you that... So Alexis is an escort and has great adventures with men... I Don't normally read books with escorts other than Travis Luedke nightlife series with vampires but I love to mix up my reading. Back to this story if your looking for a sexy, hot read with an excellent plot grab this book you won't regret it! Thank you again for letting me read & review :)

I just have to say for anyone who is debating on reading this book it is a must! I was chosen by the author to be a beta reader for this book and it blew me away! I went threw ups and downs with different emotions while I was reading this book, I took me from holy crap to aw!!!! In this thrilling story it made me want to become a escort lmao! You see a different side to a job choice that many would never choose being a educated women! I rated this book 5 stars because I feel that's exactly what this book deserves!!

I’ve read this author’s Stricken series and enjoyed it, so gave this one a try as well. It’s completely different and completely wonderful. Hot, steamy – will make you blush (a good thing). Loved that we get great steamy scenes with Alexis and the guys she is paid to be with, Joseph and John. Loved that we get a great story and relationship with the guy she wants to be with and may just be the man for her, but no sex with him in this book. It’s a great conflict that keeps the story moving along with lots of drama and anticipation. Can’t wait for the next in the series!

This book was a gift to me and let me say...WOW!!! I have read a couple of other books by SK, and this one by far has to be the best one yet. This book is really really good, but trust me when I say that it is so well written that it will have you so turned on you are begging for relief. The way that the story flows and the sex is hot, but tastefully written will leave you begging to read more and to find some physical relief. I can not wait for the next book in this series. SK you wrote one amazing store ma'am.

This story was interesting to me, as it wasn't my usual pick. I am glad I tried this book as I really enjoyed it. I have no idea what the escort world is like, but the plot seemed believable (I know it's fiction but I was to believe what's going on). The characters were sweet and lovable, and I found myself wanting to know Alexis and be Amy's BFF. My only compliant is the editing and mistakes. Even though I am an editor, the story was good enough for me to turn off my editor brain and just enjoy the story!

Apart from some of the oddness between the roommate and the main character, the book was pretty good. The storyline wasn't so bad. It was one of the most believable of all the adult romance books I've read. The end was a killer though. Wasn't ready for it to be over yet. I will be continuing to book 2.

I loved this book. I want to know what happens between Alexis and Brad. This book starts slow but in a good way. It gives you a background into what Alexis does and why she does it. Some of the scenes in book get quite intense. So much so that I had to stop reading for a few and regroup. I can not wait for the next book. I am so wanting more of Alexis, Brad, and all of the other characters.

This is really great book, it does leave off in cliffhanger but you have to get the 2nd to find out what happens.
