Now, for the first time, their patient, groundbreaking work is chronicled. Those who have come to know this intelligent fringe- and forest-dweller consider theirs a relationship with a creature much closer to an ancient human than to an ape, one who has co-evolved with us over eons, the two species crossing paths only rarely. I wasn't sure what to expect from this book. But knowing Chris Noel as a writer, I shouldn't have been surprised. It is a book that anyone interested in nature, oral history, and mythology can appreciate. Beautifully written, with great little historical tidbits thrown in in the way of old newspaper clippings, this is an intense look into the existence of Bigfoot. Even if you're a nonbeliever, he'll get you looking over your shoulder next time you're in the woods. . . . And if you are a believer, it's a must read.
