--3 bestselling romantic suspense novels ON SALE for a limited time from USA Today bestselling author, Dana Marton.--
Book 1: Deathwatch
-----------------------------
The only person who can identify the most notorious hit man in the country, Kate Bridges is running for her life. Murphy Dolan is in the Army Reserves, returning from his 2nd tour of duty, only to find a stranger hiding in his house. She's scared spitless. He's completely burned-out on violence. Neither of them has any trust left to give.
Book 2: Deathscape
-----------------------------
After a near-death experience, artist Ashley Price is compelled to paint visions of the dead, and fears she's gone crazy. Then she paints a man buried alive and, recognizing the surroundings, she rushes to save him.
Instead of being grateful to her for rescuing him, Detective Jack Sullivan accuses her of being in league with a serial killer. He swears he will put her behind bars. Except, the more time he spends with her, the more he falls under her spell. Can he trust her, or is he walking into another deadly trap?
Book 3: Deathtrap
---------------------------
She'd been "the sick girl" for most of her life. She refused to go straight to "the weird girl". Heart-transplant recipient Sophie Curtis has been in her own antiseptic bubble for so long, she just might not be able to venture out into the real world again. Her spooky body memories are scary enough, but then she finds herself in the cross hairs of a killer.
"Love was blind, people said. But lust was blind, deaf and reckless." Ethan Bing hadn't been a great romantic before he became a cop. Whatever shred of optimism he had left after becoming Broslin Chief of Police had been seared out of him by the unsolved murder of his wife two years before. A new case brings the killer within reach just as Sophie pops into his life. She gets through his defenses like no other before, but soon it becomes clear that she's been selected as the killer's next victim.

Deathwatch: 3 stars -A little light on development but a greta opening line that drew me right in. The mystery was good, the red herrings were a mix of clever and obvious, some nice twists. The romance was fast but believable.
Deathscape: 1 star F--- This ended up being a hate read. I kept saying I should DNF it but I had to keep going and dee if got even more awful. The 'hero' was an asshole, just cruel, a liar, and obsessed. The heroine was more likable but spineless. She did have moments here and there of standing up for herself but mostly she was weak. I never believed the romance between them. Lust, sure, but love? Nope. The 'hero' never redeemed himself and there was no spark between the two of them. He was domineering, she was weak, blech. The mystery was decent enough but nothing wonderful. The psychic bit was interesting, probably my fave part of the story.
Deathtrap: 3 stars The police captain from Deathwatch is back, which made me happy. I liked him plus there was an unresolved story thread from that story that is brought back and featured. The mystery was convoluted and would have worked better in a longer story where it, and the characters, could have been fleshed out but it was interesting. There were a few twists. The romance was sweet and I liked seeing Sophie grow and test herself. She was frightened often but made herself push through and keep trying. Ethan respected that and her need for independence. They fit together well.
Suspenseful with lots of suspects and a fast flow. Some action scenes. Honestly not sure I would ever trust witness protection, books really do not give a good impression of successful safety, mind neither do the FBI. I really enjoyed this story and felt Kate did a fabulous job of keeping herself safe to a point, really that wasn't her fault either due to unexpected twists. Murph turned out to be a great guy once he knew her story, but his brother I felt was a user, otherwise he would have let Murph know what was going on before he got home. Supporting family is one thing but don't take advantage. Well written gripping read that does follow on in other books so the HEA is not quite complete, on a plus the other books are written so no waiting to read.
Intense and slightly heartbreaking story as Ashley struggles to recoup her health after an accident that claimed the life of a little boy and almost hers as well. As an artist she mostly paints emotional abstracts but since the accident now and then painful headaches and a furious need to paint have her doing something quite different. It's a result of that she finds Jack. Suspenseful and interesting plot that held my focus and had me invested in the outcome. I did get the right suspect in this though so feel quite proud of my own deduction skills. Wonderful characters especially little Maddie bless her, she just wanted her mum to be well again. Great read and a HEA
Poor Sophie hasn't had much of a life really, sickness and home schooling have ruled it, a long term relationship ended when she got better and didn't need the same care. Finding a stray dog changes her newly settled life. Bing has been tormented by the murder of his wife but being Chief has meant focussing on the day to day crimes, but a clue in a new murder might just be what he needs. Both characters are vulnerable in their own ways, both are trying to move forward but also still tied to their pasts as well. I loved the chemistry when they met, both are caring, loving and supportive people not expecting to find a relationship. It isn't all plain sailing though, a few twists and turns and lots of suspects mean both are kept busy. Gripping and suspenseful, a fair amount of action and excitement had me fully invested in the outcome. Wonderful characters and a bit of teasing make this a well written and engaging book. The series so far is fabulous and I'm really enjoying reading it, heading straight into book 4 now.
Deathwatch: 5-Stars This is a short novel/novella length book I've had on my "To Read" Shelf forever. On my recent road trip I wanted something not to heavy and definitely something I could pick up and put down without losing my place in the story. Well, I ended up getting drawn in and had trouble putting it down. I happen to like the short length R/S stories, and this one was perfect. Great suspense, good heat and characters I could root for. And, a twist for the ending. Just a great, short read.
Kat Bridges hasn't got much confidence in the system. As a foster kid, if failed her during her childhood. Kat and her sister finally hit the jackpot with a loving adoptive family, but the scars and distrust remained for Kat. While meeting with a former foster brother, he is murdered, and Kat can ID the killer. The Feds take over and she is "protected". That didn't work at all, and Kat is on the run.
Murphy Dolan is home after an Army Reserves deployment where he was injured and lost his buddies. All he wants is his own bed and the nightmares to end. What he gets is a fiery woman who insists his house is hers for another three months and she isn't leaving. Period.
What we have is rock meet hard place. Their standoff resolves bit by bit as they get to know each other and the threat to Kat gets closer and personal. What military man can resist a damsel in distress? And, what damsel in distress can pass up to protection of a hot, kind, patient military man?
This is a terrific box set with 3 complete novels that you will want to read. Each is a wonderfully written suspenseful book, with romance tossed in, making them so gripping that you won't want to put them down. That's how I felt when I read them but at the same time, I didn’t want them to end. Can't win this one.
I liked the intelligent, strong women in these stories who handled what life threw at them and the men who thought it was their duty to look after everyone and protect them. All the while, falling in love.
From the first with the heroine dealing with a killer she saw and now needs protection from to the heroine who sees violent deaths in her head and has to paint them to the last heroine, a heart transplant patient who got the heart of a criminal. And alk this happens in the small town of Broslin PA.
These books are smartly written, witty, full of suspense with a bit of smart romance. Loved the characters, flaws and all. Can't wait to start the next book in the series. Definitely one of my favorite authors!
First two books weren't bad. Formatting drove me a bit crazy, but other than that, they were entertaining. Last book I almost dnf. Some really bad stereotypes, and I I really didn't care for Bing.
I have really enjoyed getting to know the members of the Breslin PD and watching these strong men brought to their knees by the danger surrounding them and the women they love.
Three full length books with Interconnecting characters, but each with there on happily ever after
I would recommend these books and series for mature readers (sexual content) who enjoy reading stories that are funny, steamy, suspenseful, and romantic.
Dana Marton has an easy way with words. Good description, interesting characters, and a believable plot. I would highly recommend the Broslin Creek series.
I read each of these books individually and I think I got a couple from the author in exchange for an honest review. However, I loved these books so much I had to buy the boxed set when it became available. Below are my comments from when I reviewed the individual books. (Note that some of the comments may not exactly apply if you are buying and reading the boxed set.)
Deathwatch This is the first book I've read by this author. It was a freebie on Amazon and I'm so glad I downloaded it. The only problem I had with this book is that I started reading it way too late at night. I literally fell asleep holding my Kindle (it was sometime after 3:00 a.m. at that point). When I woke up I couldn't wait to finish reading the book.
For me there was just the right amount of suspense, romance and heat. While I thought I had figured some things out I was way off. While there is not what I consider a cliffhanger for this book (there is a happy for now) I was definitely left wanting to read the next one in the series; I can't wait to start reading it after I finish this review. All of the Broslin Creek books are now at the top of my TBR list. A really great book.
Deathscape Another great book by Dana Marton. The second in her Broslin Creek series it stands completely alone but is set in the same location as the first with familiar secondary characters.
I must admit that romantic suspense hasn't usually been at the top of my reading list. But I got the first book free from Amazon and after I read it I had to keep going with the series. This book was just as good for me as the first.
The lead characters are both tortured by things from their past and the story kept me guessing until very nearly the end. I can't wait to start reading the next book.
Deathtrap I don't think I've ever done this before...posted a review before I've finished a full book (boxed sets don't count), however, I'm doing so now for two good reasons. #1 - I can already tell I'm going to love this just as much as the others but, more importantly #2 - While this book will stand alone I believe you will enjoy it more if you read the first two before this one. For me, books one and two were independent of each other sharing a location and secondary characters but not much else. This book (#3) is about Captain Bing (a prominent secondary character in the first two books). I'm not going to give anything away here but I really suggest reading the other two books first so you get more background on Bing before you read this. Even if you don't read the first two before this one you will really enjoy this book. But, if you read this one first and then decide to read the others you may feel some regret.
I'm a big fan of series - ones where each book ends without a cliffhanger and can be read as a stand-alone but share common characters/locations - but the few time I've accidentally (or unknowingly) read a series out of order I've usually been a little sad and wished that I'd read them in the proper order first.
book 1 this story kept me on the edge of my seat and wanting more loved the characters and was shocked to find that the most unlikely person to want to hurt Kate was exactly who was after her and cant wait to reread the other books in the order that they need to bed lol who knows if i have not reviewed the other two i can leave a review on those or just add more on what i thought anyways click buy and read cause you wont know how the story begins or ends unless you buy and read and review lol go on click buy and start reading until next time book 2 Ashley paints about the dead and Jack has his own demons he has to overcome he wants revenge over someone who killed someone special to him can he over come it or will Ashley make him see that he has so much more to give find this and much more when you buy this and the rest of the broslin series i have read this but found i had never reviewed it shame on me i know but this series is a must read ,. book 3 this book out of the series was a off your seat type of book and you don't want to put this book down please buy it and click it to buy and read the whole series as soon as possible
I am so glad I got the boxed set of this series! I was able to read this as one big novel and it worked! Great intrigue and lots of angst between heroes and heroines! Loved the suspense weaved throughout each story! I sometimes felt like I was riding a rollercoaster. If your looking for a good read with lots of suspense and great romance, pick this set! You won't regret it!
I really enjoyed reading this start of the Broslin series! They are good books and fairly clean romance stories! I hope Dana Marton keeps writing these books!
Awesome series. Love the suspense, mystery, excitement, romance as only Ms Marton can tell. I enjoy reading her Broslin, PA stories reading about the townsfolk and following their lives. 8 stars
I love Dana Marton, she is an amazing author and this is a really awesome boxed set. I loved all of the books in this series and can't wait to read the next one once it comes out.
Great characters, good mystery/suspense plot. I enjoyed the heroine's courage to live life her way, not to give in to her ex or her fear of dogs. A+ all the way!
When I started to read these 3 books ,I realized that I had read 2 of them already. I enjoyed them enough to read them again.. I like the books in this series and recommend them to anyone to read.
