Three of them were clean with only dust on them, and the other three looked as if they had been ridden fairly recently. The fourth and fifth car spaces each had a trailer that held four snowmobiles. Three dirt bikes were carefully placed along the front wall with just enough walking room around them. “Wow.” Kyle drooled like a teenage boy as he stared at all the toys. I chuckled at his amazement. He turned to face me. “You’ve been holding out on me, beautiful girl.” I shrugged. “I’m a tomboy at heart.” He threw his head back and laughed. “I guess so. Though, I need a bit more proof,” he challenged. “You’re on.” I grinned. I guess it is time for a little honesty, so here goes: I liked book one, and I wanted to fall in love with Lily as much as I was liking Kyle. I was thrilled that the frustration with Lily and talking about her family was put to rest. The fact that she has a best friend and neighbor and doesn't really know him was frustrating. So this book was LOVE. Yes birds were singing and floating on little fluffy white clouds. She gets to the house where she grew up and the flood gates open. Everything from book one that was not answered will be answered. Still trying to mend the family, we learn a few secrets and it blows my mind. Just dont forget the threats. When you don't expect it there it is
You are introduced to her cousins and Aunt that she kept distance from. It was a tough part of the book when her Aunt came to visit. The mystery is somewhat resolved as well as some of her fears. YOU must read it.
Now...I know there is more and I don't know why but I get a feeling the next book will have to do a lot with Kyle and less with Lily. I want you all to tell me if you think maybe there may be something dark looming over them again. I am still thinking too much about it.
I must say this shows a different side of the Kyle and Lily love story too. It was hot. In the level of sexy scenes I will say that there is a lot. Lily has totally opened up to Kyle and is now accepting his love and she sort of lets him take all of her. I hope that makes sense. I felt that there was this epiphany brought front and center that Kyle was responsible for. He really is the king in my book. Very few times is the grief process explained in this sort of unique way. Kudos to the author for bringing sexy, love, grief and family together.

Yup. Alicia did it again.
Flawless, exquisite read I couldn´t get enough of.
My Beautiful is the second book in the Beautiful Series and it continues to follow Lily´s and Kyle´s story.
Lily still didn´t left the past behind. It is still with her every day. She is still fearful. She is still on her journey to be better, to heal, to be strong.
What to say about Kyle? My Gosh! I love him!
He is Lily´s rock. He is smart, possessive, strong, supportive and so hot.
In the book we got to see pieces of his past. We also got to see and enjoy how Lily´s and Kyle´s relationship becomes stronger and stronger. With time she is bit by bit opening up to him. She is finding her strength and courage in him. In his love.
The chemistry between these two is mind blowing, raw, powerful.
Yes, the book has twists and turns but it also has a LOT sex scenes which are SO DAMN HOT.
Lady, you did it again. Like the first book, I also couldn´t put this one down until I finished it. These two and their story have a strong hold on my heart.
I´m so looking forward for the third book to see what will it bring for Lily and Kyle.

While I loved the first one and enjoyed this one, it just didn’t “wow” me like Beautiful Chances did. I think my favorite part of book one by far was Kyle and thankfully he was just as swoon-worthy this time around.
“Telling him that I loved him, to me, was a huge step. I could never take back my words. I would never want to take them back.”-Lily
Lily is of course still having a hard time coming to terms with losing her family. Now she has Kyle, her rock, to help her through the more tough times, but it’s still an inner battle she needs to overcome. The book starts off literally right where the first left us and it flows as if it never ended.
Kyle’s more possessive alpha side comes out and every growl had me sweating.
There were a few things I didn’t like however.
-The foreshadowing or hints about things Kyle’s keeping from Lily. I hope book three isn’t all about these secrets.
-About a ¼ of the way through until the end it felt like 95% of the book revolved around them having sex or Lily crying. Seriously she cries non-stop, hell, she probably still cried during sex. I’m a fan of sex as much as the next person, but every few pages was overkill.
-I felt like Lily should have had more of a breakthrough in dealing with her past. Sure she goes to visit her family and get her families’ home cleaned out but I didn’t feel she grew enough. She had so much inner power that even she doesn’t realize and even without Kyle she should be stronger.
-I completely forgot about the whole stalker drama. In fact it just miraculously is brought up again 50% in.
-The stalker drama overall was kind of blah. It’s not mentioned at all the first half of the book and then suddenly it’s brought back in and by the end solved and cleared up like a pesky bug. I assumed this would be dragged on to book 3 and though I’m glad it did not, everything was handled very awkwardly.
-It really felt like a middle book. Kind of draggy and to the point where much of it could have been cut to perhaps conclude the series rather than have a whole ‘nother book after this one.

I know I had a lot more bad things to say about the book than good but I didn’t hate it. It was still an enjoyable read and I loved re-visiting these characters again. I’m hoping the third book will be a lot more pleasing especially since it will focus more on Kyle and them moving in together.
I was glad we finally got to meet her family: cousins, aunt and uncle. Since her visit home continues in this book we get to see a lot of her cousins and they are like a bunch of kids when they’re all together. Off-roading on ATV’s was a favorite past-time of Lily and her cousins, so it was nice to see her let loose and have fun again. Plus having Kyle around certainly helped.
Overall though I felt a bit letdown between all the crying and sex, I’m still looking forward to the final book in the series. Kyle continued to steal my heart and I can’t wait till we learn more about him. I’m afraid of what we’ll find but at least the stalker is out of the way so these two can finally focus on their relationship and becoming permanent fixtures in each others lives’.

I was part of the book tour for Beautiful Chances where we first meet Lily and Kyle. If you haven't already read this book you need to read it asap. check my review out. This book is Amazing.
I was so excited to be part of My Beautiful Tour. I couldn't wait to read more of Lily and Kyle.
So the story starts off where Beautiful Chances finished, Lily had gone with Kyle back to her home town to face her grieve over her parents and sister in the tragic accident that took them. While there she learns some more devastating news about her sister that she didn't know about. Slowly she's facing her fears with the help of Kyle whose always by her side.
Lily and Kyle are so much in love and are learning about each other as they spend more time together. While in her hometown lily receives two bits of news, her Stalker knows where she is and her friend Luke has been in an accident.
There is so much I could tell you about this book, but I wont - the sticky tape has gone back on my lips to avoid saying too much.
Here's a few of my favourite quotes from My Beautiful.
kyle - His tender eyes met mine. " Your stunning Lily. You take my breathe away. Each and every time is like I'm seeing you for the first time, and I can't get enough," he said, shaking his head. "It will never be enough."

I enjoyed Beautiful Chances but My beautiful is even better! I felt we got to see Lily grow a lot throughout the book and I was pleased to see her making progress with her inner struggles. Parts of the book are hard going as some of the emotions she goes through are devastating to read about and got me all choked up.
We also get to meet her extended family. Her overprotective cousins, Damon, Jason and Blake are brilliant and provided me with some great laughs. All the relationships in the book are written really well, they are so believable and that's one of the things that made this book loveable for me.
I'll be honest, I did skim through some of the sex scenes after a while, and not because they weren't good, but just because there was a lot of them and to be honest I wanted to find out who this stalker was and for me that was what had me gripped throughout. I was soo happy that we had an answer to the whole stalker plot and I gotta tell you, I didn't see that coming!
I completely loved Hot, Mountain, Army, Man, Kyle and I seriously cant wait to find out more about him as the first 2 books are centered around Lily, I think book 3 will reveal a whole lot more about her Sexy Alpha and I cant wait to find out what he is keeping from her.
Overall I enjoyed the book and will definitely be keeping an eye out for book 3.

Could Lily & Kyle's story get any more beautiful. What a freakin breath of fresh air. No DRAMA. A book I just lost myself in. The passionate love these two share is......beautiful.

My Beautiful is the second book in the Beautiful series by Alicia Rae. Kyle and Lily's story continues in this book, and should only be read if you have already read Beautiful Chances. This series is one that I have really enjoyed, and I find myself becoming lost in Kyle and Lily's beautiful story. There is so much to overcome and yet their love makes that possible. If you haven't read this series yet, you should definitely check it out. This series will make you experience so many different emotions, and yet you just can't help but fall in love right along with the characters of the story.
With Kyle's help, Lily has begun the difficult path of moving forward with her life. At the end of Beautiful Chances Kyle asked Lily to move in with him at his Lake Tahoe house and leave Florida behind. Luckily, Alicia Rae didn't make readers wait long to find out what Lily's answer is. As Lily and Kyle begin to move toward a future together, there are many things that first need to be dealt with. Lily has begun to see a professional and share her feelings and thoughts. Lily also must deal with everything that her family left behind, including the house in Colorado. As Lily begins to heal with Kyle's help, she realizes just how much she needed him in her life. Even though letting someone in and loving someone again scares her, she knows that her and Kyle feel right together. Lily also begins to reconnect with her family and those that she left behind. With Lily's stalker still out there though, things begin to escalate and soon Lily is being threatened more than ever. Will Lily and Kyle be able to have the future together that they envision, or will the opportunity of forever be taken away from them?
I loved Lily and Kyle in the first book, but I loved them even more after reading My Beautiful. Lily and Kyle really are perfect for each other, and it shows in everything they do. Their love and connection is so strong and solid. They are always there for each other and push the other to be better. I love how intense their feelings are and their amazing chemistry, but I also really love their playfulness as well. These two can go from being serious to playful, to absolutely steamy and it all works so seamlessly. They have a natural fit together and the ease of their relationship is something really rare. I absolutely love the fact that when it comes to their relationship there is never a ton of drama. The drama in these books is saved for things outside the relationship, and their bond is unshakable in the face of anything. Lily and Kyle seem so real and believable and their relationship has always felt the same to me. I know that Lily and Kyle will always be a favorite book couple of mine and that I will reread their story in the future.These two grab a hold of your heart and refuse to let go.
Overall, this series just keeps getting better. I really enjoyed this story and thought that it was beautifully written. I think the characters are ones that most readers can identify with and and very easy to relate to. The connection between Lily and Kyle continues to grow as they face their troubles together and I love watching them heal and move on together. I think that these two have off the charts chemistry and their steamy scenes never disappoint. I do feel like sometimes there is a bit much of them and that it sometimes takes over the story a bit though. I wish that we would be given more insight into Kyle's background. I feel like these stories have focused mainly on Lily, and that is understandable considering everything that she has gone through. But I find myself curious about Kyle and wanting more. I hope that we get more of his life in the next book. I really love Lily's cousins. They are entertaining and fun, and I love their banter. Their relationship with Lily is really special, and I love how close they all are. I also really like the developing bromance between Kyle and Jason. I think that this series is a must read for fans of the New Adult genre. There is absolutely everything you could hope for in a great book with this series. I can't wait to read more in this series and see where the future takes these wonderful characters. I also can't wait to see what Alicia Rae comes up with in the future, as I am quickly becoming a huge fan.

As Lily begins to heal with Kyle's help, she realizes just how much she needed him in her life. Even though letting someone in and loving someone again scares her, she knows that her and Kyle feel right together. Lily also begins to reconnect with her family and those that she left behind. With Lily's stalker still out there though, things begin to escalate and soon Lily is being threatened more than ever. Will Lily and Kyle be able to have the future together that they envision, or will the opportunity of forever be taken away from them?
I loved Lily and Kyle in the first book, but I loved them even more after reading My Beautiful. Lily and Kyle really are perfect for each other, and it shows in everything they do. Their love and connection is so strong and solid. They are always there for each other and push the other to be better. I love how intense their feelings are and their amazing chemistry, but I also really love their playfulness as well. These two can go from being serious to playful, to absolutely steamy and it all works so seamlessly. They have a natural fit together and the ease of their relationship is something really rare. I absolutely love the fact that when it comes to their relationship there is never a ton of drama. The drama in these books is saved for things outside the relationship, and their bond is unshakable in the face of anything. Lily and Kyle seem so real and believable and their relationship has always felt the same to me. I know that Lily and Kyle will always be a favorite book couple of mine and that I will reread their story in the future.These two grab a hold of your heart and refuse to let go.
Overall, this series just keeps getting better. I really enjoyed this story and thought that it was beautifully written. I think the characters are ones that most readers can identify with and and very easy to relate to. The connection between Lily and Kyle continues to grow as they face their troubles together and I love watching them heal and move on together. I think that these two have off the charts chemistry and their steamy scenes never disappoint. I do feel like sometimes there is a bit much of them and that it sometimes takes over the story a bit though. I wish that we would be given more insight into Kyle's background. I feel like these stories have focused mainly on Lily, and that is understandable considering everything that she has gone through. But I find myself curious about Kyle and wanting more. I hope that we get more of his life in the next book. I really love Lily's cousins. They are entertaining and fun, and I love their banter. Their relationship with Lily is really special, and I love how close they all are. I also really like the developing bromance between Kyle and Jason. I think that this series is a must read for fans of the New Adult genre. There is absolutely everything you could hope for in a great book with this series. I can't wait to read more in this series and see where the future takes these wonderful characters. I also can't wait to see what Alicia Rae comes up with in the future, as I am quickly becoming a huge fan.

My beautiful is the next book in the ‘Beautiful’ series by Alicia Rae, and it picks up where Beautiful Chances left off. After reading, and enjoying the first one in the series Beautiful Chances I was looking forward to reading this one, and even thought Beautiful Chances it had not ending on a cliffhanger as such it had left me with one or two unanswered question that I hope My beautiful book would give me the answers to, and I’m really pleased that it did.
I love the storyline, and like before Alicia Rae makes sure that it has a bit of everything it has some twist and turns, it was emotional, funny, and sexy as hell. I liked being with Lily on her emotional journey as she not only starts to heal, and overcomes her fears. But also tries to have closure surrounding her parents and sisters’ death, and move forward with her life. I felt for her with some of the struggles that she goes through.
I still love both Lily and Kyle, and as their relationship continues to grow, and get stronger I could really feel that now Lily has opened up to Kyle the connection, attraction and chemistry between them undeniable. The passion between Lily and Kyle was off the charts. This book had so many hot sizzling sexy scenes that didn’t disappoint. ;)
Secondary characters such as Brook and Luke were back, and it was lovely getting to know more about lily’s aunt and cousins, I like the banter they shared, and seeing how much love and supporter they have for her.
Towards then end of the book you get the conclusion to the suspense and mystery surrounding the letters that Lily was receiving in the first book, and I will be honest I was surprised, and slightly disappointed that it wasn’t a bigger part of the storyline like I had been expecting.
There wasn’t a cliffhanger ending, but as there is one more book to come from this series. Lily and Kyle’s story is not over. I definitely get the feeling that the final book its going to be more about Kyle than Lily, as there are some unanswered questions about him and his past. I’m looking forward to January 2014 when Beautiful Dreams is being released, as I want to know more about Kyle and read his story.

My Beautiful starts off right where Beautiful Chances left off. So with that being said you

These books aren't standalone.
Lily...where do I begin with her?? This woman has so much heartache it's heartbreaking. She's lost so much, and she's trying to learn how to overcome it all. Three years ago she lost her parents and sister in a car accident...after that day she left Colorado and moved to Florida where she writes books and does photography. She met Kyle Madison on that beach and just couldn't stay away from him. Something about him drew her in, and there was no stopping it.
Kyle Madison is an Alpha Male...I don't know about you, but I have quite the soft spot for Alpha's. ;) Mmm Mmm. Anyways. He's into real estate. He is on a mission to help Lily overcome her sadness. So he goes with her to Colorado to visit with her family. You see the lengths he will go to for her, and it will make you fall that much more in love with him.
While visiting her family Lily begins to mature and grow. She's ready to put the past behind her and heal. That's one of the whole points of the trip, is for her to heal. She hasn't really allowed herself to grieve, she's mainly just blamed herself and ran. The trip to visit her family is really good for her...that is until a HUGE secret is revealed and she's left heartbroken all over again. I don't know how she can continue to deal with all of this...cause for me it's extremely draining.
I swear this poor girl, I don't know how much more she can take. Thank goodness for Kyle. I don't want to go much into the plot in case you haven't read either books yet. Just know there is a lot of sex, sadness, and possibly some L.O.V.E.
I absolutely loved Lily's aunt, uncle, and cousins!!! Alicia does an amazing job at writing and making you fall in love with every single character. Literally!!!
Now, I never thought I would EVER say this, but to me there is TOO much sex. Yes, I know. EEEPPP How can I say that?? I have a feeling when you read you will begin to understand where I'm coming from. I just feel there should of been less sex and more worrying about other things. I was also left with many unanswered questions, which i'm sure the last book Beautiful Dreams will hopefully answer. With all that being said:

What can anyone say about a masterpiece? Because that’s what the Beautiful Series is. A true magnificent masterpiece.
The first book was a pure excellence and the sequel rivals that. My Beautiful is a book perfection!
Our characters grow all the more. Even though, there is no time gap between the two books, we see that Kyle and Lily both grow individually and as a couple. They are finding their way on this world together, overcoming anything that comes their way. The first book was about the romance and them building their relationship. The second book is about their love. Both of them know how they feel and they admit their feelings to each other quite frequently! And that’s a revelation to both, but more to Lily.
Alicia Rae is a brilliant and fantastic writer who has created a truly beautiful story about 2 equally wonderful people. The story has a special veil of mystery surrounded by immense love. Her writing is impeccable once more.
I was glad that the series would include a third book, as well. I feel that we have read and concluded with Lily’s story and it’s time to concentrate more on Kyle. We know who he is through his love for Lily. However, we don’t know much about his past and if you really pay attention, you will notice that Alicia Rae is preparing us for the third book in a very delicate and elegant manner.
Let’s look into our wonderful characters…

She is a very sweet person full of love and kindness, something that is widely displayed in this book. She really is adorable! >>Kyle Oh My Kyle!..He has become one of my favorite book boyfriends! He has so many sides that will leave you utterly breathless and will make you fall in love with him. Hard. Very hard. He is everything a woman looks for in a man. He is sexy, perfect in bed, playful, possessive..He’s also very sweet, romantic, thoughtful, supportive and a shoulder to cry on…Yepp you read correctly..He is all that…Wrapped in a very hot, tall and well built man named Kyle Madison.

Reading everyone's five star reviews I'm wondering what went wrong for me when reading this book. The only reason it didn't end up being a DNF for me was my determination to find out if my guess was right as to who Lily's stalker was. Getting there took me a while, as I had to repeatedly convince myself to pick this book up. I wasn't a huge fan of book one either, but I thought it would be the gateway to a much more enticing book two. While this book definitely had more drama, it still was not a good read in my eyes.
A book about an alpha male, uber protective boyfriend and a stalker? Goodness, that is just about my favorite book premise haha. What a disappointment it was There were various things that stopped me from loving this book. First off-the characters. While I did really like Lily's cousins and her editor, Lily herself was a bit lackluster for me. Didn't hate her but also did not care what the hell happened to her. Kyle was the major let down for me. He was all the downsides of an alpha male with none of the upsides (except for an uber hot bod but I'll try not to be shallow). I didn't feel his love for Lily at all. His possessiveness was clear, but to me she just felt like a possession to him, not the love of his life. I could not connect with their relationship at all, which also meant skipping most of the sex scenes because I could not have cared less about their sex life at that point. The other big issue I had that kept me from getting into this book was the dialogue. So many times it felt awkward and unrealistic. The characters would talk to each other using words I really couldn't imagine many people using in everyday conversations, and that made it so hard for me to connect to what they were saying. It just all felt stiff and awkward. As for the big bit of drama in the book-the reason I trucked through every page- it fell a bit flat for me. I knew from the moment the character was introduced who the stalker was, which is totally fine because I was still keen to see how it would play out and how all the little details would be explained. Except they weren't. You find out who the stalker is, shit goes down, and then it's over and none of the little tidbits are explained. I can't complain about it much more without giving away spoilers but it just seemed to be wrapped up way too simply.
Needless to say, I will not be picking up book three.

My Beautiful by Alicia Rae

This book starts up right where the first left off…Kyle asking Lily to move in with him! Before she can do anything though, Lily needs to go back home to Colorado and face her demons. She must somehow try to put all the pain and loss away and figure out a way to move on and have a life without feeling so guilty.
Lily takes the next step and along with Kyle goes back to her past and heads back to Colorado. She spends some time with her cousins and Aunt and Uncle (who I totally fell in love with) and goes to visit the graves of her family. While doing this a HUGE secret is revealed and Lily is heartbroken all over again. Honestly I don’t know how this character deals with all the loss she has experienced and I am mentally drained for her. The only saving grace she has is Kyle. He is there for her every step of the way and it seems like he knows exactly what she needs at every turn. He truly is her soulmate and is the most compassionate and loving man. After finding out this secret, the rest of the book is pretty much Lily dealing with tying up all the loose ends of her life so she can finally move on. She struggles at times and has many small mini break downs and my heart breaks for her throughout this healing process. She rebuilds her relationships with her family and starts to let go of the past and deal with her emotions. The empty whole the loss of her family has left finally starts to fill closed a little at a time. Instead of crying at memories and being reminded of her loss, she embraces them now and realizes that these memories are good and are something she can hold on to.
I don’t want to give away any spoilers but the secret she finds out is entwined with the stalker letters she has been receiving and the last few chapters of the book, this storyline plays out. My only wish was that this part of the book had more development to it. And, I have to say, I knew who it was about halfway through the book!! I am hoping that the author goes back and writes a book about this storyline!! I am definitely looking forward to reading the next book in this series to see what happens to Lily and Kyle once they get settled into their new lives living together!

Lily and Kyle are back and are together.
Lily is on her path to healing, with Kyle beside her every step of the way, one day at a time. I admire Lily strength and most especially Kyle. To see someone you love trying to live normally every day, getting rid of the demons of her past must be very hard. But he stood beside her, ready to catch her every time she falls. His arms were ready when she needed support – and with that, he totally had my heart. Only a few men are strong enough to bear such baggage.
If we were left with a bomb in the first book, My Beautiful has a lot of jaw-dropping surprises intended for the readers. I haven’t seen most of them coming, just when I thought Lily was finally reaching her destination, something happens, then another one.
Nevertheless, their chemistry is unwavering. It was still off the charts and the steamy scenes were just SOOOOO HOT. Lily is indeed very lucky to found Kyle and have her on her bed and in her life. She totally deserved it after everything that she has been through.
They also spent some time getting to know each other in this book – but needless to say, I have this eerie feeling that Kyle is hiding something, something big. I think Ms. Alicia Rae gave me something to anticipate the next book. I wish Kyle will have his POV by then - I'm dying to get into his brains!!! :D
I thought the both of them wouldn’t get any better than the first book – but here, Lily and Kyle are better, stronger, and more mature. I loved Kyle more, and I so admire Lily’s determination to break through her barriers, let go and move on. This time, My Beautiful, is a story of strength, determination and love that knows no boundaries.

My Beautiful picks up where book one, Beautiful Chances left off. Lily and Kyle continue to face her struggles together. Lily shows her strength in this book and overcomes some serious hurdles.
Following the advice from her therapist, Lily and Kyle make the trip to Lily's hometown in Colorado. She reconnects with her family, both still present and lost. Lily is overwhelmed with emotions as she surrounds herself with her past. She knows she needs to come to terms with things and move on, but it's difficult to do so because she refuses to let go of her beloved parents & sister.
There's a lot of emotion in this book. Throughout the entire novel, you really get to see the magnitude of Lily and Kyle's love for each other. There were some surprising turn of events that snuck up here and there. It definitely kept the plot interesting.
The questions left unanswered after book one were finally revealed. Once one secret was told, the mystery behind the threatening notes began to add up for me. While it wasn't a major part of the storyline, it still added some seasoning to the story.
My Beautiful closes nicely, but doesn't necessarily come to a finish. There will be a third book coming next year. Nothing was really nagging me after finishing this book, but there is definitely more to Kyle than meets the eye. The first two books in the series had Lily as the center focus. I get the sense that there's a lot more that he needs to share with her.
Alicia Rae did a wonderful job with the continuation of Lily and Kyle's story. I look forward to reading book 3 and more of Rae's work in general.

The questions left unanswered after book one were finally revealed. Once one secret was told, the mystery behind the threatening notes began to add up for me. While it wasn't a major part of the storyline, it still added some seasoning to the story.
My Beautiful closes nicely, but doesn't necessarily come to a finish. There will be a third book coming next year. Nothing was really nagging me after finishing this book, but there is definitely more to Kyle than meets the eye. The first two books in the series had Lily as the center focus. I get the sense that there's a lot more that he needs to share with her.
Alicia Rae did a wonderful job with the continuation of Lily and Kyle's story. I look forward to reading book 3 and more of Rae's work in general.

My Beautiful is the second book of the Beautiful series by author Alicia Rae. it is a continuation of the first book of the series Beautiful Changes and should be read in order!
we meet up with Lily and Kyle where the first book ended, them in Colorado, her being at her house for the first time since she left 3 years ago. Kyle has told Lily how he feels about her, wants to start a real life with her, share his life with her. she is still unsure if she can be everything that he wants, but she is truly willing to try. she agrees to move to Lake Tahoe with him, hoping that being with him will make her want to share a life with him as well. Most of this book does take place at her home in Colorado.
she has opened up more to Kyle and wants to be in a relationship with him. She is making him part of her life, with her writing, telling him her secrets, letting him into her life, making a place for him in her family, he cousins who have never let anyone close to her are willing to accept him as family and as their friend.
Kyle is starting to open up to Lily as well, there are somethings that he isn't willing to tell her yet, but they are about his Army days and those things are hard for him to talk about to anyone not just her. he has never even told his family about most of what happen while serving out country.
I did figure out who the "stalker" was in the first book, but we see the end of that in this book as well. while its not a huge part of the story it does pull everything together that we learned about her sister in the first book as well.
I have really enjoyed the first 2 books of this series and looking forward to getting to the 3rd book. Beautiful Dreams!

What a fantastic second book in this series. I loved it! It picks up right where the first left off and keeps going. This is such a great story with wonderful characters who were just so easy to fall in love with. I felt so much for Lily, I don't even want to imagine what going through what she did would be like. I was so glad that she had found Kyle and the he cared for her so deeply. I was happy that she opened herself up to him, because there really wasn't any way to deny the attraction they had for each other from the start. Lily's Aunt and Uncle are great, and so are her cousins. Her BFF and editor, Brooke is just a force to be reckoned with. She's always there for Lily when she needs her. Alicia does such a great job of pulling you into the story seamlessly, letting you know and grow to care for each of the characters. I will be honest here, after I finished this book, I couldn't just pick up another. This one sat with me and rattled around my head for a good, long time. The depth of Lily's losses just kept coming and she just kept taking it. Yeah, she ran, but I would too. This book made me ache for everything that Lily had gone through and marvel at her strength as she determined to move forward with Kyle. I just can't say enough good things about him. He's like a dream come true for her, when she needs him the most - but didn't yet know it. I really can't wait to read Beautiful Dreams, the next and final book in the series. I want everything for Lily and Kyle, they deserve it.

Okay so to say that I loved book one in this series was big for me because people had mixed reviews but I loved every minute of it. Then I started reading book two and I was totally blown away! You hear me blown away and I could not believe the twists and turns and all the secrets and lies that came out and yes there is still that danger lurking in the back but I can't quite figure it out so I was just reading along trying to figure it out and then holy effing hell I got some glimpses of things in Lily's family and I was like mother lover WTF???????????

He is her air to breathe and when he is not around she suffers and so she decides she will open her heart up to him and let him in and see where things go from there. Kyle loves Lily and he has never given up on her and he tries everyday to make sure to let her know she is loved and she is special and I have to say that yes I fell more in love with Kyle in this book because he just shows Lily that no matter what he will be there for her.

I loved the book. I liked Kyle's character from the beginning of book one and in this book his character develops even more to the point that he makes you want to up your standards in your own life. You wish all guys were like this. Tough but gentle, Rugged Manly Man type but also knows how to take care of a woman. I loved how easy going he is and is able to establish relationships with other guys without being pretentious and snooty. He has a lot of patience with Lily who I like because she is agreeable and realizes that she does need him so she needs to snap out of her own bull crap, but she is drama. After going dealing with the loss of her family which is tragic and understandable for her apprehension to enter her house, but to me sometimes she was overly dramatic and got on my nerves a little only because I am a no nonsense kind of person. I really liked the part towards the end when Jason turns to Kyle and said something like I am glad you had a bad feeling and they turned around and went back to the house. I am not going to spoil what happened, but I loved how Lily looked at Kyle and had a realization of how in tuned he is with her. I LOVED THAT! Not to many guys are so in tuned with their ladies.

Let me start with the story concept is really good. If I could get more story and less sex it might have been a much better book. I appreciate attention to detail and I look for it when reading. As with my review of book 1, both the details in the story and the facts that were incorrect are once again in this one. Have you ever heard the phrase "Less is More"? It seemed every other page or ever scene there was 2 pages of detailed sex scenes. OK I get it, they love each other, they can't keep there hands off each other, they screw like rabbits. Only 5% of this book was actual story telling the other 95% was detailed sex scenes. Hot steamy scenes are great, don't get me wrong, but give me more story please. I got to the point I was skimming through the hot scenes. I really am not looking forward to reading book 3, but my OCD will not let me stop in the middle of a series. I am a glutton for punishment, I only hope it has more story. OH and btw, there are a few spots in this book that also seem as if they were taken from a very popular story of another kind. Check my review of book 1 to understand.

Where Beautiful Chances ends the next book My Beautiful begins and I mean it. You don't see many books pick up at the same spot the other one had left off. I can't wait to finish reading My Beautiful. Don't bury your demons or think you will forever cause one day you will have to face them. Lily is finally facing her past working and dealing with things that she was finding out for the first time ever. IF what had happened wasn't bad enough. Just finding out one more thing adds a twist and really breaks her heart. With Kyle being there to help pick her up and keeps encouraging her to move on. Alicia Rae has really impressed me with this book. I think because picking up in the same exact spot the book before it does and then adding a twist to the story that was totally unexpected. I really look forward to reading Beautiful Dreams.

My beautiful is a fantastic series. I love how Kyle and Lily stick together through all of the heartache, leaning on each other. Kyle's strength is just amazing. You can't help but fall in love with Lily too. She has been through so much and with this authors writing, you feel for her in so many ways.
This book kept my interest from beginning until the very last page, where I wanted more. The family dynamics of this book along with the love story, mixed with a little suspense made it a definite page turner. And wow, can this author right hot love scenes *faning self*!! They were real and intense. I simply could not get enough!!
And Kyle?? *blushes* Was my dreamy sexy alpha in every way! I have a feeling book three will be more about Kyle and them moving to California.
She has once again raised the bar with book two!!
Can't wait for the next book to see where these two go!!

OMG, where is my Kyle?? I must be looking in all the wrong places because Miss Alicia Rae has raised the bar for any man who walks into my life! lol
I really like that book two picks up right where Beautiful Chances left off. Here writing flows wonderfully, and the chemistry just pours right off the pages. It had just the right about of passion and was STEAMY <3 The emotions she puts into this book make you feel everything the characters do and more. I stayed up until 3am last night to finish this book. I could not put it down!!
If you have not read this series yet, do it NOW!!
Can't wait for Beautiful Dreams and to see where see goes next. I seriously hope Jason gets his own book!!

Oh God, how I managed to get through this book is beyond me. It was the second of three books regarding Kyle and Lily and it was totally pointless. I skimmed over a lot of it in the end, particularly the sex scenes, they were so repetitive as was a lot of the ordinary dialogue. This book should have been condensed into the first one as I don't think there was enough of a story to warrant a further book. The third book is about Kyle and his secret past but from reading the first two I'm not going to waste my time or money as I've no interest in knowing about him. There is a fourth book too which is about Kyle's sister Abbey and Lily's cousin Jason, again I'll not be bothering to waste my time. A disappointing series.

This is the second installment of Beautiful series. This is where the Kyle and Lily's continues. I stayed up till 11:30 last night and I really wanted to know who is "Aaron" is? Quite curious indeed, in the end I'm glad they found out who that person is and for me its quite devastating knowing that person really loves her sister but you can't blame that all to her. So right now I can't wait to read the very last installment. I wonder what's gonna happen next to them? Is she going back to school, etc?

Holy Hotness!!!! A MUST READ!! I love this series, and everything about it. Kyle's support of Lily is swoonworthy and shows you how a real relationship should be. Too many of us give up on love to early, not Kyle. Kyle is definitely my new fav book boyfriend!! Lily's growth throughout book two is inspiring and you can't help but love her. I laughed throughout this book, cried, and got angry only to fall in love with it all over again. The chemistry between these two is HOT!! Loved it!! Can't wait to read more from Alicia Rae.

It was more interesting than the last one, but still very mechanical writing. I just felt like the dialogue wasn't what people actually say... The mystery wasn't a mystery. It was ridiculously easy to figure out. I felt like Kyle should have had it almost immediately if he was smart at all. I started skimming all the intimate scenes because there were just way too many and they felt really repetitive to me. But I still want to read throughout the characters and their stories.

Love, that is all you feel between Kyle and Lily. He is such a great supporter of her. To have a man stand by your side when your trying to deal with the past. I never saw the one part coming. I won't go into detail to spoil it for you.
