Graffiti: scribbles from different sides of the street

Rate this book
Written by a homeless man and Alene Snodgrass, a suburban girl, this book follows the journey of two people who are very different. Who would have thought when their paths crossed they would have had anything in common, but God had something different planned. scribbles from different sides of the street is a message about how we all have so much in common no matter what side of the street we live on. Nobody likes being different, but it is in that difference that our heart’s graffiti is scribbled for the world to see. Through the story of a homeless man and a suburban girl your heart will be moved to discover scribbles on different sides of your street. They are there. Will you dare to step out and see them? ”This is a beautiful and potent call to live a life that matters — from someone who’s lived it. Alene calls us to think and live differently — why are we so afraid of “different”? We need to learn to embrace the discomfort that causes us to grow, and this book will help you. I was challenged by it.” – JEFF GOINS, author, When a Broken World Slams into Your Comfortable Life You can download a FREE Study and Do guide for Graffiti at www.positivelyalene.com.

As I read Graffiti, I found my heart being challenged. Challenged to look at people through the eyes of Jesus more than I ever have. Challenged to wholeheartedly seek God's adventure for my life, and to pursue that adventure with passion. Challenged to step beyond the boundaries of my comfort zone and realize that there is a whole world out there that I might not be comfortable with - and, quite frankly, that might not be comfortable with me - and that wonderful things can happen when I am willing to let those two worlds collide. The story of Alene's "other side of the street" experience is inspiring. Hopefully it will inspire many more of us to take action.
