It was an offer she had to resist: cooking for the incredibly sexy Barratt Costas and his family over the rest summer and earning darn near more than she earned during the whole year as a teacher. But that would mean having to put up with his tantalizing, testosterone filled presence for longer than the two weeks Megan usually visited his sister for. In the past, she'd always managed to hit it when he was away, but she hadn't been so lucky this time - this time she was constantly coming nose to broad, lightly hairy chest with him... this man who unapologetically spanked his grown sister.

Meagan wasn't at all sure she could keep herself out of trouble for that long... or that just being a friend of the family - or the cook - would get her a pass on having to go over his lap if she put her foot in it.

She wasn't at *all* sure she wanted a pass, either... was she?

Carolyn was one of you as a kid, with the intriguing seeds planted in her head of the shivering thrill-thoughts that came with words like spanking, or discipline. As with you, those kinds of words and thoughts connected the heated blush of her cheeks with feelings elsewhere, which got more and more interesting the older she got.

I bet you know just what I'm talking about.

Like some, she started writing down these thoughts, escaping into short stories of reluctant heroes willing to take someone they love in hand when it's for her own good... and more shadowy thoughts as her imagination matured.

And like some, she started sharing her writings in newsgroups once she gained some confidence.

There's nothing like the perfectly-turned phrase, the handful of words that can make a feeling wash over you. And if you're reading this, then you have within you some intense feelings that most of the world doesn't understand -- but Carolyn does, and she writes those passions with wondrous abandon. Her specialties are Spanking Romance and Adult Ageplay, so we've grouped the many examples of her work that way.

Spanking Romance Classics are sweeping love stories which dare (in a very un-PC way) to allow their heroine to feel the special love of a strong man who will take her in hand when it's best for her. Carolyn writes very real, rich characters and stories that aren't just excuses to jump from spanking scene to spanking scene. If the timeless tango of pursuing ardor touches you, and the head-rush of Adoring Discipline intrigues you, then you'll love Carolyn's stories!

So this book gave me a lot of mixed feelings.
I liked the characters enough but the way the relationship was written bothered me greatly. Meg was portrayed as this confusingly skittish girl with control issues that made no sense.
I liked Barrett enough, but he treated her like a child and was very controlling- and not just in the endearing protective way. The relationship moved very quickly and not a lot of time was spent on them being together. Overall it was a nice notion but difficult to finish without rolling my eyes.

Barrett offers Meagan a job which she can use but he also seems to be offering her something she doesn't even know she needs. This is such a strong love story. I really love how carrying and protecting Barrett was. I also thought all her dancing away from the truth of her own feelings was cute.

This is a really good story by CF with a great feel about how good the relationship was between the siblings in this story and the his new lady love. Not ovely harsh and only a few spankings but a very nice book to read.

I liked this book because of the struggle the heroine has with her response to orgasms, I think a lot of women may struggle with this. As a CF book, I didn't think the hero was as stern as normal.
