The Tabernacle

Rate this book
One of the dullest parts of the Bible is the description of the Tabernacle in the book of Exodus, yet this dusty grey tent on the backside of the desert contains some of the most wonderful pictures of Jesus Christ, salvation, the universe, and the Scriptures themselves found anywhere in the word of God. In this booklet, Dr. Ruckman reveals the precious, spiritual typology found in the Tabernacle of Moses, making the neglected end of Exodus plain. Illustrations of the layout and furniture of the Tabernacle are also included.(Print 35 pages)

Peter Sturges Ruckman (November 19, 1921 – April 21, 2016) was an American Independent Baptist pastor and founder of Pensacola Bible Institute in Pensacola, Florida (not to be confused with Pensacola Christian College, also in Pensacola, Florida).

Ruckman was known for his position that the King James Version constituted "advanced revelation" and was the final, preserved word of God for English speakers.

very interesting read

I like the way the author is frank, blunt, straight, and anything else similar to those descriptions. However, he is writing the truth and wants the reader to get the message, especially when it deals with fundamental truths of our faith and approach to God. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a sense of humour while reading, sometimes it makes the reading very interesting that you can’t drop the book for a minute.

Excellent sermon book on the Tabernacle

I just finished Exodus and picked this up to read as a way of recapping the Tabernacle. What an amazing, simple sermon on what's a seemingly difficult topic. A very practical approach like going east to west. It just makes sense.
