When the end of the world arrived, it came not with a bang, as most expected, but with more of a "pfft" instead.Humanity has been torn asunder and brought to the edge of total annihilation in less than an hour. For those who died, it was a quick death, so fast that their brains didn't have time to process the pain signals from their nerves. For those who survived, the true horror is about to begin as they struggle to not only stay alive, but find out what happened to bring such a quick end to the world as they knew it.Following the success of Final Episode 1 & 2, Episode 3 continues the story right where it left off, taking you through the journey of four of the Leonard McComb, Marcus Warden, Nancy Sims and Rachel Walsh.Final Dawn will continue to be released in a short, inexpensive episodic format, with a minimum of 1-2 issues coming out each month. A total of 5-7 episodes will constitute each 'Season' of Final Dawn, and at the end of each season, a single book with all the episodes from that season will be released in both Kindle and paperback format. Season 1 concludes with Episode 5, and a single-volume collection of Season 1 is now available by searching the Amazon store for 'final dawn season 1'. A total of 3-4 seasons are planned, with 5-7 episodes each.(If you don't have a Kindle device, no sweat! You can read Kindle eBooks like Final Dawn on your iDevice, Android device and even your computer!)
What a crazy plot. It could be good Sci-Fi but there's too many ridiculous plot lines. A sewer worker and a timid woman are driving to Alaska to find and shoot off a nuclear weapon. From a Russian submarine. In the ocean. Whaaat?? How?? An enemy the woman escaped from weeks ago and many miles away just happens to walk into her room and attack her for the second time. Whaaat?? Meanwhile another couple are bare-handedly removing giant chunks of concrete from a huge collapsed building to get to their buried lab. With a pick. I couldn't finish this. Skip it!

Number 3 of 10 and a bit disappointed in the "shortness" of the book. I don't get the author's choice to end this book (as with #1 and #2) and then go on to the next. It even "felt" odd for chapter breaks, but do understand as my chapter breaks in my book can feel a bit odd. However, the story is compelling and I anxiously start the next book, ignoring the "recap" and getting right into the continuation of the story. Maybe I'm being "cheap" with the 3 stars, but it's hard for my to rate incomplete stories that really don't stand on their own any higher.
Episode three of the box set I have sees more battles and even more mystery. Where is everyone? What are the creatures - what have humans messed with this time?
Action-packed and enjoyable, this story continues to follow four survivors of a terrible and confusing event.
A book that I got lost in and I don’t know where the time went. It’s eventful and interesting and I’m still not sure what has happened apart from it being done underhand.
