The Little Book of Horror series presents classic horror tales in a new light, as writer Steve Niles is paired with unique illustrators to re-tell stories that follow the text of the original tales. This book features all the horror that H.G. Wells brought to bear in his novel, with the bonus of seeing the story beautifully illustrated by the warped mind of Ted McKeever.
STEVE NILES is one of the writers responsible for bringing horror comics back to prominence, and was recently named by Fangoria magazine as one of it's "13 rising talents who promise to keep us terrified for the next 25 years."
Niles is currently working for the four top American comic publishers - Marvel, DC, Image and Dark Horse. He got his start in the industry when he formed his own publishing company called Arcane Comix, where he published, edited and adapted several comics and anthologies for Eclipse Comics. His adaptations include works by Clive Barker, Richard Matheson and Harlan Ellison.
Steve resides in Los Angeles in his bachelor pad with one cat. While there's no crawlspace, there is a questionable closet in one corner and no one is quite sure what is hidden in there...but we have an idea.
A Cliff Notes version of H.G. Wells's The War of the Worlds accompanied with poor illustrations by Ted McKeever. The text is plopped over the illustrations at times making them extremely difficult to read. Just go read the actual book or watch the movie. You'll be much happier.
The title of this book is of WAR OF THE WORLDS by STEVE NILES.This book is about an alien attacked earth. If you like alien and you want to know more about what they look like I recommend this.
The best thing about this book is the part when the alien went out because they describe the alien what they look like.
