I think this book has so much potential. the sky is the limits with what you could do. some of the ideas were golden. I loved the descriptions of the types of angels and their roles. I just felt like only the surface was scratched. i would have enjoyed more character development and more plot. I just wanted more!
It read as if it were an extension to a role-playing game wherein the angels are assigned different ranks, each with different powers and skill-sets. Battle your angel to gain experience and level up! All in all, it was slightly surreal to read an epic (setting and plot-wise) written in such simple, colloquial language.
I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the trilogy. The beginning was kind of slow so it took the first few chapters to get my dication to finishing. Hopefully the other books begin more entertaining.
I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the trilogy. The beginning was kind of slow, but once the storyline picked up I committed to finishing the book, which was debatable in the first few chapters.
I gave this 5stars because the storyline is so unique I'm not a very religious person, spiritual but not mainstream. I thoroughly enjoyed the story from an angels point of view. Amazing characters. I would recommend this to not just religious folks but to anyone who enjoys a great sci-fi story. As an aspiring author myself I'd like to thank Julius St. Clair wholeheartedly for opening my mind to broader possibilities in literature.. Jeff
End of Angels was the kind of story that you will refuse to put down until you reach the last page...then you'll be looking for book #2! Although fiction is, well, fiction, this story somehow solidified my faith in God, and gave me reason to truly believe we were all put here for a unique purpose.
I don't like being required to review a book but I thoroughly enjoyed this book. About half way through I figure out the story I new the end but was not sure how the author was going to get us there. It held my attention, it activated my imagination and it made me thirsty for more. On to book two. I recommend that you join the ride
I liked this book. It's not very good but it surely is a fun read. I am not religious but I didn't get bore while reading it, which is a plus for me. I am definitely looking out for more and I just hope I get to read more about "Team 6".
I really liked the concept of this story and how it was told from the angels' perspective. The set up of the positions felt like something out of a video game (cuz I'm a bit of a geek) which was really cool. My problem with it was that it felt dragged out and the pace was excruciatingly slow.
Really good, a bit too fast moving at times but leaves you wanting more. Came to an end a bit too fast for my liking. I would of loved to of seen this book stretched out into a couple of long 500 page books or something.
