Kinda different.Jake’s a Brit private detective working on a case for a design firm. Dresses are stolen, fingers are pointed at Pixie, an employee, Jake falls in insta-love with Pixie. Story gets sorted and Jake/Pixie get their HEA. A strange little story that’s a quick 99 page read.

18+ readers only please.
I was gifted a copy for an honest review.
Jake works for Brandt Black as a private detective. He has a new assignment keeping an eye on Graham Barchet’s designs. Mr. Barchet fears that someone will take his designs, the one’s he has stolen from one of his very own employees.
Pixie is a hard worker and she is really suspicious of her boss, Graham. She fears that he is using her design but has to prove it. Going to the job site in the middle of the night to collect proof, she runs into Jake and shares her story of what she fears is true.
Now that Jake knows Pixie’s story, all he wants to do is protect her but can he? Once the items have been stolen, will Jake find out truths about Pixie he isn’t willing to accept or has he been made a fool of all this time? How will his heart handle everything and who will he believe?
Ms. Parkes is a true romantic when it comes to her writing style. I would read any and all of her work.

Jake Snow is a sizzling hot erotic romance with a good deal of intrigue thrown in to make things even more interesting. While investigating a possible case of industrial espionage at a London fashion house, Jake meets the lovely Pixie. Their attraction to each other quickly ignites hot and bright, but as Jake learns more, he wonders if he can really trust her. His developing feelings for her only complicate matters.

It was unique reading an erotic romance written entirely from the male character's point of view. At times, though, I wished we got a look at Pixie's point of view. However, I can see how it was necessary to leave the reader in the dark about Pixie's thoughts, feelings, and intentions to increase the tension and mystery.

Overall, Jake Snow is a very entertaining read with lots of fiery sex scenes and a very satisfying ending.

Elodie enters the cutthroat world of high fashion. Jake, a private detective, is hired to make certain the latest fashion dresses by Graham Barchet are not stolen before an upcoming show. Read Jake Snow for a spell binding romp through the world of high fashion, with hot sex scenes sprinkled in.
