All of the verses in this book are from the King James Holy Bible.

There are 199 promises of God mentioned in this short book, all by using bible verses to demonstrate them. I liked that this book was consistent in sticking with the KJV all throughout the book, and I liked the good formatting of it.

The only thing I did not like was in the introduction, it is stated that the bible is the Word of God, rather than the word of God. The Word of God is Jesus Christ (John 1:1 KJV) and the word of God is the Bible (Hebrews 4:12; 1 Thessalonians 2:13 - KJV).

This Value Book is packed with 199 scriptures for you to memorize and meditate on. I find it interesting that the only promise everyone seems to know is Genesis 9:13. This book has done the work for you. All you have to do is open the pages and read. Knowing what his word says is a way to increase your faith in him. This book can even be used with your entire family. I plan to pick out a couple of scriptures for the week and have my family memorize them all together. Bible reading can be fun and easy. If you find yourself pressed for time throughout the week, this book is for you. Enjoy!
