Dr. Sherri Stratton has a plan to not date until her 6 yr old daughter is in college. Well, we all know what they say about plans and all. Her very intelligent daughter (Sydney) has other plans and backup to assure they go as prescribed.

Lucas VanBuren was hit hard the first time he saw her. Things only got better when he spent time with her and then he touched her. Chef VanBuren has lite a fire under the sexy doctor. She has found her mojo and more.

Lawdy , lawdy, lawdy, if I could just read a good romance by Ms. Schuster with out the dang dogs.


Overlooking the dogs, I loved this story. Sherry Stranton proved that with faith and belief in your self a person can overcome all obstacles achieving your goals. The plot twist with secondary characters had me in shock.

Nicely Done! Dr. Sherri Stratton's life is just fine without a man in it. 7 years ago her baby daddy, Trevor, walked away and never looked back. Now the psycho is back, talking about meeting his daughter for the FIRST time and becoming a family. well, I think that Lucas, Sherri's new love, will have a few things to say about that!

This is a cute story but the plot, in my opinion, wasn't a strong one. Sherry is a single mother whose boyfriend ran out on her before Sydney, their daughter, was born. Now she is being pursued by Lucas Van Buren who is crazy about her. A large portion of this book deals with Sherry and Lucas getting together with a bit of coaxing from Sherry's daughter. Lucas is too good to be true but if he were real, I doubt any woman would let him slip through her fingers. The latter part deals with the return of Sydney's father, a jerk without scruples. I felt the ending was rushed and there were too many chance meetings between Travis (Sherry's old love) and her. But overall, it was a fast read and entertaining.

Sherry Stratton is not looking for love and is protecting her heart after a bad relationship. Between her job and daughter she does not have time for a relationship. In steps Lucas Van Buren and sparks explode. Lucas knew Sherry was the one for him and knew he was in a for a difficult trek to love with Sherry. This was a good read and little Miss. Sydney stole the show with her grown self. This was an entertaining read.

Another great Friends and Lovers saga!

Way to Her Heart is a another fantastic story by Melanie Schuster! Lucus and Sherri met for the first time at her best friend Alexis and Jared's wedding. Lucus was in love at first sight and with the help of Sydney Sherri's 7 year old daughter Lucus gets the woman of his dreams! Another great story from Melanie and a great addition to your reading list.

Love this book what can you say about the VanBuran men. all I know is I want one. Lucas and Sherri make a very nice couple. It took Sherri a long time to realize that she had a good man but she finally figured it out. Lucas was so sweet and protective and I love that he accepted her daughter from the beginning. Must read. Who's next I wonder.

This was a reread as well. After rereading Alexis and Jared's story I had to delve into Sherri and Lucas's as well.

These two were pure fire. Independent single mom Dr. with the sweetest girl that finds love.

Lucas was committed from day one with his affections for Sherrie and Sydney.

It was a decent read and part of a series. Very entertaining. It was a quick read.
