I have read several works by this author and I am always left wanting more. I also stay up way to late trying to see what will happen next. Unfortunately that also means that I finish the story quickly.
I tried reviewing the books 1-3 compendium, but it didn't work. I'm not convinced the prose isn't AI generated itself, as the writing is somewhat awkward, but who cares? Really? The story is fun, imaginative, action-packed & it twists & turns on a dime. The timeline treatment is the most originally thought-out aspect for me. I've not read anything else that subverts traditional time travel tropes so thoroughly & with such well constructed abandon. If you like your sci-fi action fiction to be creative rather than standardly reactive, this series will especially please you. I'm very interested to see what the author's mind does next with this particular Jack (why are they always called Jack?). I don't doubt the ideas are coming from an imaginative human mind, so maybe the stumbling, sometimes repetitive prose does too. Great work. Love it!
I like G. P. Hudson and have enjoyed his books but imo this series is just too complex heck even Jack doesn't know what is going on! I'm with Jack on this one.
The plot twists between book one and 4 were completely unexpected and the general plot of the series was great. I enjoy the authors vocabulary. The speed of the books is great.
