Rhonda Lee Carver is a bestselling author of contemporary western and romantic suspense, but she loves to write other genres too. She's known for writing stories that keep readers laughing, crying, gripping the edge of their seats, and screaming all in one book...like riding a virtual roller coaster. Whether she's creating sexy cowboys or tough guys, or sassy, independent heroines, readers are sure to find strong, powerful, memorable characters that are relatable.

By day, she taps into her creative, fictional world but at some point she transitions back into reality where she's a volleyball-stands cheerleader, homework virtuoso (at least she thinks so), amateur nurse to skinned knees, mediocre chef with some awesome microwave skills, pet-guru (all the strays show up at her house), and a Jackie of all trades for her kids who are the loves of her life. Yoga and chocolate keep her sane. Hallmark movies require cuddling up with tissues because she can be emotional. She adds a sprinkle of her own real-life adventures in each story she spins because a little truth never hurt anyone. She wouldn't give up one thing in her crazy, chaotic, ever-amusing life, except, she might do magic tricks for the bungalow on the beach she's had her eye on (GOALS).

Writing for Rhonda is like falling in love and finding a new best friend over and over again. Her characters will find a place inside your heart too.

First of all I would like to thank R.L Carver for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

10 years ago Holly disappears into the night without a word said to anyone, not even her boyfriend Liam.
Holly is back in town for her Grandma’s funeral and the first person she bumps into is a very bitter Liam who is still harbouring a lot of rage towards Holly and the way she abandoned him all those years ago.

The sexual chemistry is still there between them and they struggle to keep their hands of each other.

This book had me laughing my pants off in parts and I actually make an idiot out of myself on the bus laughing at one point. One of the things I like about this book is the way it was able to make you laugh and then it would have you on the edge of your seat as it built up angst.

I must admit that I became very smug early on in this book thinking I had figured the storyline out and I was reading to see how it would get to the end result I was sure was going to happen. Only to have that same smug feeling knocked out of me because this book did not do what I expected it too. Whenever you thought you had it pegged, it went and changed direction!

The plot and the storyline were well written and the characters developed well.

If you like a bit of comedy with your angst then you won’t regret reading this book.

The beginning of this book really had me drawn in. The relationship between Holly and Liam was full of excitement and desire and I was looking forward to see where it led. Throughout reading I found myself very intrigued even though I found a lot of the story quite predictable. Unfortunately, as the story carried on, I found more technical issues that pulled me out of the plot and made understanding difficult. There were times when I was left a tad confused as to what was going on or what had been discovered and there were some facts that were contradictory. Endings for me make the book and although this ending seems to set things up for a sequel, it wasn't very satisfying for me. All in all, it was a good read and the steamy bits were some of the best I've read yet.

This was a very good story about a young girl who returns home after 10 to attend her grandmother's funeral. First she is stopped by the police chief who just so happens to be the boyfriend she left behind when she abruptly left the small town of rave. Next she has to deal with a mother who dropped her off to be raised by her grandmother when she was a child and than starts getting threatening messages. The things that are happening to her are keeping her close to the ex boyfriend who got married 2 months after she left but the sexual tension and the past hurt keep these two in a love hate relationship. The ending of who and why she is being stalked is a real page turner. Strong story. Nice cliffhanger

I received this book as a free Firstreads copy through goodreads.com.

Sin With Cuffs by Rhonda Lee Carver is nothing short of awesome. The book follows the life of young Holly when she returns to her hometown of Raven after learning her grandmother has died. Holly has not returned to the town (and ex-boyfriend) of her childhood once ever since she left in the middle of the night when she was twenty.

This book was a quick, but extremely enjoyable read. I highly recommend the book to anyone who has a few hours on a flight, on the beach, on a trip; or anyone hankering for a lovely and enticing romance. To Carver, I say Bravo! And Encore! I will definitely be reading the next one......

What a nail biting edge of your seat steamy romance! I could not tell who was causing all the problems, cause quite honestly a lot of the characters can be seen a shady at one point or another. It was fun and exciting read.
The book flowed so well it made it a quick read. If you are looking for a hot sexy cop romance with a mystery twist try this book. This is the first book from Rhonda Lee Carver I have read, but I will be looking for more! This book was given for a honest review.

Honest opinion

It is a okay read. The story is a bit unusual, the telling of it. It kept me somewhat interested in the story. It is also a light read.

She comes into town and gets with ex. Some one is trying to scare her to leave. Two murders happen. The suspense is cheesy. The end is cheesy. She leaves the story hanging. I don't think there is a sequel.

Also, the author left out a lot of information in some of the scenes.

I very rarely give a five star. This book desires that and more. The chemistry between Holly and Liam was off the chart. Holly returns to her hometown after her Grandmother passes away. Someone, including her ex is not happy she is back. Someone is terrorizing her into leaving. Now someone is trying to frame her for murder. Will Liam forgive her for leaving in time to save her? This story has a little bit of everything, sexual chemistry, kinky sex and suspense.

Disclaimer: I won this book.

Sin with Cuffs is a nice story, but I was annoyed by the occasional grammar mistakes and random misspellings.
