An ugly event in her past has Angie Richards, 28-year old disinterested accountant and secret lover of romance novels, questioning how she’ll ever find her own happily ever after when the only man she can still trust completely is her closest friend and employer, Jack Murphy.
Jack, majority owner and CEO of a small construction firm, delights in spinning outrageous tall tales that the gullible Angie never fails to fall for. But when he unknowingly concocts a story that collides with Angie’s deepest fears, he might not be able to achieve his goal to have all of her, forever.
While outside forces plot behind the scenes to make them see they belong together, and an embezzlement issue at the office turns dangerous, Jack subtly turns up the heat as he tries to convince a reluctant Angie to see him as more than a friend.
Susan Graham's ("Graham") debut novel of two people, whose relationship grows from friendship to so much more, was a terrific read from beginning to end. Jack's in love with Angie and has been for some time. Angie just needs a little nudge to recognize her true feelings for Jack; but once she does, she believes she's not good enough for him because of something he told her - something he didn't realize would have such a great impact on her. A romantic tale with a few curves thrown in make "Isn't It Time" a worthwhile read. You'll cheer for Jack and Angie all the way. I look forward to reading more works by Graham.

I absolutely adored this book! The hero and heroine were loveable and the author didn't use the insta-love trick. The writing and editing were great with loads of passages I literally laughed out loud about. There were plenty of twists and turns in the mystery to keep me guessing, too. Ms. Graham, please consider writing another book!
Fell in love with this book right from the beginning. Where are Jack and Angie going with their friendship and can they overcome that one obstacle that is the "line in the sand" with Angie? Some suspense along with some laughs and hot sex along the way keep you wanting to keep reading.
Voice and writing were good and would read author again. This story was more chick lit than romance and I was bored a lot. Liked the characters but wanted more on the developing romance than various other plots and actions.
